Update time.

SOTW 113 Entry. I kinda threw it together at the last minute, I was going for a soft, gentle sorta thing but kinda failed xD

SOTW 114 prototype, decided not to enter it afterall, but I still like it -

These two are just me messing around with photoshop, cause I'm all excited for FFVIII to come out on the PSN that I'm all inspired here -

I love LOVE LOVE the Final Fantasy VIII pieces. They are simply FABULOUS. The Edea one especially. it is DIVIIIINE ♥♥♥♥♥
The Sleeping beauty one is prettiful ♥ its all dreamy and wonderful, and the Goku one is awesomeness. lol

WOW. Nice effects! The red texts are the side: meh~ IMO it should be another colour

But the renders *onoms* Love the different colours used and love the (trademark) glass effect.

The blending is fantastic and the lighting and colours surrounding them are freakin' brilliant!

Lovely effects and the text looks awesome! I love the font you used and the colour! Also that little heart next to it looks perfect!

After we collaborated previously on something that turned out pretty fantastic (in my opinion) Amanda and I decided to try collaborating again, however, the image quality was low and it frustrated both of us, as we were completely stumped with what to do, however, here's what we came up with -

I absolutely LOVE the Sleeping Beauty one! You said you were going for something soft and gentle? You definitely pulled it off. Really well done!

Awesome image to use for a start!

I love how it looks as though shes sliding down a wall or something and debris is flying off everywhere!

Looks fantastic!

The colouring is simply gorgeous and I love the lighting near her hands and just below her torso.

I love the softness of it and how it looks as though her clothing is breaking off with the debris. Looks fantastic!

Keep up the awesome work! It definitely deserved a win!

I love how bright it is and that it has lots of colour!

You've blended her in very well and the stereo behind her looks good, but I think that it does tend to pop out a little too much and take away from Cheryl a bit.

The effects and colourful lighting around her look fantastic and the texture over on the left is appealing.

Love what you did with the text too! Colouring half as white and the other half as black looks cool. <3

I like this one so much, its so simple and clean but the CD4 effects do it such great justice, it sets flow to the image and it follows it great. I'm not too sure about the text though, the first line is always but the second line (subtext) seems to be outta place ir maybe a little too far away from the first line. Either way, the entire signature looks great, the text is just a minor thing. Great job, guys ♥

I quite liked it so I shrunk it down to a sig size xD

This one is beautiful! The colors are wonderful, the image is blended in so well. Of course your CD4 effects are always gorgeous. v.v Though I think there's a little too much text or perhaps its the way its placed. I don't know, maybe its just a 'me' thing. Either way, that's just a small fact, it hardly affects the overall image. =)

This one is interesting. Its unlike anything I've seen before. The colors are nice and flow very well. The girl looks great, the image looks to be of high quality. That outline around her is interesting. Its not bad but it comes a bit too sudden I'd say. Maybe blend it in with the dark colors a little? Its more towards the right side of the image anyways, on the left the way it cuts into the brightness looks fine to me. =)

I'm LOVING the colors in this. The render is of really high quality as well and I love the way it looks against the background. only problem i have with it is border color... I personally think a black border would look much better, but thats just personal preference... all in all awesome sig

I love this. simple yet elegant and fantastic. I love the text here. and i like the effect you used in the background.

This is gorgeous!

I love the colours and the brightness of it!

The pattern underneath her sword over on the right in the background looks cool. It's a lovely effect and makes the background very appealing.

I like how the background is blurred too. It helps to emphasise the character more.

I love the soft blues and purples blurred out in the background.

You've used that cool effect from the first on in this too. It looks awesome!

Stevie is blended in well, but I think she needs a bit more lighting on her.

The darkness around the edges work well and the text is well placed and the font well chosen. <3

I think you need to start working more on text Mark. Your signatures are really good. You work well with colours and your placement of stock/render is always spot on. But when i look at your sigs i always feel that theyre let down by the text.
Try and watch what colour you make the text. Like for example it looks odd as red in the Jean gray tag. Id recomend keeping it closer to the focals aswell as imo some of them are too far out that ruins the tags clarity. Maybe try some more formal fonts as oppose to the curly ones and keeping the text shorter, maybe one line.
Your sigs are great and i think once you get the text down theyl be even better.

This one is gorgeous. the colors on, on it all flow very well. The effects on each side of the image are great and flow very well. The one issue I would have with it is the text, its perhaps a little too simple, I'd say Lew is right, maybe a little bit more practice with the text would help you a lot. I'm also not all that keen on the border, I dunno it just seems outta place for me. Its most likely just me, though.

I was talking to Kira for text advice, since she's like, the Queen of text, and she recommended me some fonts, which I've tried out in this sig -

Simply lovely piece here.

Those little circles down on the right look cool yet again. XD

The lighting is positioned in all the right spots and I like how the yellows and oranges seep through the darkness. It looks like someones just shone a torch at them. =D

You've chosen a good colour for the font too! It blends in much better with the colour scheme! Also you've done a better job choosing the fonts! I'm still a bit iffy on the 'Celes Locke' font but the I really like the other font!

Kira is doing a good job with font recommendations!

Unique and eye-catching. This is very nice to look at. I'm fond of its light sources, I think they you just hit the spot. At first, I thought the elements at the right side were throwing off the smoothness of the tag, but as I look at it more, I can see it's what adds a little flavor to this simple piece. Beautiful effects. I'm still a little unsure about the text, but all-in-all, this is a fantastic concept and was well executed.
