Penelo's Graphics and stuff

whoa i love that :gasp: Did you make the shape yourself? If so how did you do it? Could you maybe make a post explaining what you did in that piece? Thats nice :gasp:

Ah nice one penelo. Thatd actually make a very good stock for making sigs. Itsd make a nice abstract effect. IM gunna look at that tut later and make some custom shapes. Thanks (y)

The background looks nice and he blends into it well.

The texture in the background works in nicely and the text is placed well and the font is very well chosen!

I like the white glow around him and he is blended into the background nicely as well.

Great font used and the placement of the text is done nicely.

I think that a tad more lighting on him would brighten the signature up a bit more but other than that great work!

The border rounds this off nicely. =)

I think your Balthier tag is one of the best you've made yet, mainly because the background and render compliment each other with similar colours. The font choice is good but maybe you could use 2 fonts instead of one, just to mix it up a little. :D The slight blur also adds some depth to the tag.

Although the render and background compliment each other, they don't really blend IMO. For example, Balthier has an out glow and it makes it look really obvious that he's a separate layer. The same thing happens with the Luxord and Rikku tags. Try and blend your renders in more using a combination techniques such as using a soft eraser to erase some parts of the render so they flow into the background. Also, maybe try sandwiching the render between effects such as brushing or other stocks. Another good technique is to use dots of colour on soft light making the blending look more seamless.

Just my opinion though!

All in all though, I do think your Balthier tag is much more pleasing on the eye. Keep it up. (y)

I love it, there is nothing bad i have to say about it. I don't think there is anything to say but good things about this tag. I do have two questions. My first, is what is the c4d and/or texture you used in this sig? And what is the name of the font yo uused?

Good job on the sig, keep up the good work ^_^

The checkerboard thing was really an experiment. I don't use c4d's for my sigs, It was a brush pack I downloaded:

Im just loving the effects on this one. The color scheme is nice, and the concept is quite unique. I noticed that you have that checkerboard texture in the left side :wacky:. Overall its a nice tag, and the text is nicely placed ^^. Great job on this one.

I quite like this one!

The blending is done wonderfully and the focal is well established here.

Loving the blue theme you've chosen. It has a nice icey feel to it. <3

Great texture in the background and the lighting is well directed.

I would suggest sharpening the characters face a little more. It's a tad blurry at the moment.

I would also suggest a more simple font and to put it on a horizontal angle. I think it would help it along a bit better. =)

Great colour schem and the blending is done very well.

You've got the focal positioned well and the detail in the background is great! Not distracting but enough to make it more interesting.

I love this one x3

The coloring is so beautiful and vibrant. It's a little too bright, too, and that makes me want to look away from Kairi, though. She is positioned well and the text goes very well with everything else. The background is omg great. It's so beautiful and makes everything else look great. The font is great, too, although it's hard to see what's written. Nice one (y)
