Have to agree. Tv show wise i liked scrubs but that doesnt come close to the likes of OFAH and still game.

They do make the best action / thriller tv shows though.
 
How I met your mother is funny--it's not THE funniest but it's not "dry". :lew:

American comedies are hilarious (if you watch the right ones).
 
I think its just one of those things. You have to be American to find them funny. American humour and British humour are like.......white bread and brown bread. Wer the white bread btw.

I love 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'. Preferably I like that kind of comedy. I can't really put it into words but it's different from 'How I Met Your Mother' or 'The Big Bang Theory' (which is awful in my opinion). Two and a Half Men was good for a while.

I think it also does matter where you happen to be from. I'm American and I don't particularly like British comedies. I really don't understand the humor :| It's all about culture and what you've grown up with, etc. I grew up watching Comedy Central. I love shows like The Daily Show/Colbert Report, It's Always Sunny, South Park, Family Guy, etc. I seem to like the more juvenile humor....lol.

Also lol @ the white and brown bread analogy.
 
The big bang theory is the worst thing ive ever seen. I liked the simpsons back in the old days and futurama was good. And spongebob ofc. I cant really watch a full episode southpark but i appreciate them for the things they say.

Only fools and horses and still game are tied for my favourite comedy shows ever. One Scottish one English but both brilliant. Never a fan of stuff like faulty towers though and dads army etc. Just never clicked with me. Im trying to think of recent british comedy shows but i cant think of any at all :hmmm:

And i guess The office was liked enough overseas for them to make an american version. I never really liked it much tho and the american one i cant stand.

But arrested development is one of the funniest things I've ever seen ;_; it's also like... Number three in the top tv shows on imdb.
 
Theres a very good american comedy based of a british one. The office is really funny. Besides I dont find the big bang theory shit.. Its just for people who appreciate different stuff such as physics and nerdy shit.
