Just thought this was amusing:

I remember those old 5 1/4" floppy disks xD Anyone else?

45k of memory AT LEAST!

The old CLI's were awesome, I remember the days when I was rather fluent in it. (Or about as fluent as you can be at 6).

I long for the return of a simpler time when sales pitches were hip and with it.

old thread but after watching that ad i think i'd like to downgrade :sad3:

dont remember 5 1/4" floppies but 3 1/2"...everyone knows what they are.

feeling old, I used them a bit, used to have one older then that, there was an 8" floppy disk at one point, didn't have a drive just the disk

the current generation is missing out on the fun of trying to play a game and needing to not only know what they are but being able to adjust IRQ/DMA settings for a sound card to be able to use one, not to mention making a boot disk so you could have enough basic memory since programs would need so much base free even if you had plenty of extended memory. And the fun of modem to modem games where you had to do phone tag while setting it up, how things have progressed

LOL. I'm 15, and even I remember using floppy disks. Used them occasionally up until 2007, then I fell in love with flash drives. They fit in your pocket very nicely. :)

:ffs: So that's what the developers look like....

I remember using Floppy disks....i also remember having to search through hundreds of them just for one file... annoying...not as annoying as the song in the clip though.
