So as it turns out in town they're doing casting calls for The Tall Man, a new filmstarring Jessica Biel. They're actually filming the whole of the movie here (I believe) and they're casting for extras in the film, some of whom would actually get a handful of lines in the film.

They're looking for people who aren't Hollywood, lines, wrinkles, missing teeth, big noses... those that have 'lived their lives in their faces'.. so basically they want freaks and hobos.

Well that was fun. I stood in line for an hour an a half, filled out a form of my measurements for costumes and my personal info for contacting.. and yeah. Most of the speaking parts, turns out, are for littler kids and parents (It's a movie about kids disappearing in a town) but hey, they got extra background people.
