The latest issue Game Informer issue features an interview with Tetsuya Nomura on the upcoming North American release of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. At the end of the interview, the magazine questioned the game director and character designer about his future projects.
In regards to Kingdom Hearts III, Tetsuya Nomura denied ever confirming its existence during an interview with Ultimania. Instead, he said that he used the phrase “two tittles other than III” to steer clear of speculation. Thus, according to him, Kingdom Hearts III still remains an unconfirmed title. One of the two Kingdom Hearts titles mentioned above will be shown in the near future, however. Nomura confirmed to Game Informer that a new game in the series will be announced at E3. Although he didn’t want to give out any details, he did state that the new project was a result of them wanting to “do something for the North American fans.”
On a possibly related note, Phil Synder recently revealed that he is the new voice for Jiminy Cricket in Kingdom Hearts: Recoded, a game which hasn’t been officially announced. However, it sounds like it could be a remake of Kingdom Hearts: Coded, a Japan-only mobile game. So this may be the title Nomura is referring to. As for what platform the two new Kingdom Hearts games will be appearing on, it looks like it won’t be the iPhone, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 as Nomura revealed they have no current plans to bring the series to new systems. However, he also said they “have been discussing opportunities with various parties.” They will think about the next steps for the series once the two current Kingdom Hearts projects are completed.
Finally, Nomura discussed Final Fantasy Versus XIII with Game Informer. He told the magazine that development is going smoothly. Nevertheless, he cautioned that both he and Square Enix as a whole are announcing new titles from E3 through the winter and will “take it one step at a time.” Nomura also added that they still “have plans to showcase the title at a certain point.”

), I'll buy it. I'm hoping that means Japanese audio, but they had extra content that we never got a chance to see in anyway. Extra scenes, extra battles, and yeah, there were extra cameos.
