Most Hated Household Chore

I hate hate HATE doing the dishes... This is the chore I would pay my dad to not do this chore. It feels so dirty. I mean, the cooking business itself... (besides baking, I mean.) Just feels gross to me. It makes me feel bratty and b*tchy when I complain about it... but I really can't stand it.

Dishes are the one thing I hate doing. My gran doesnt like me washing up, she would rather do it as its her home, but I pay rent, so I try and wash them when I can. I hated cleaning up my apartment when I lived with one of my exs. He was a complete and utter pig as were his friends whom came round, ate our food and got stoned and madame here had to do ALL the cleaning up after 6 slobs. Makes me sick thinking bout it.

More than any of the other chores I hate having to wash dishes, it takes me forever, and it is excruciatingly boring, standing there scrubbing at dishes, and some being pretty big and with food crusted on to it so it is a pain to get off. >_>

But other than that I don't mind the chores too much, it is just that one thing that I really don't like doing, and it takes me way longer to wash them than anyone else...I guess I am just one of those people that are really not good at dish washing. :gonk:

I hate doing dishes with a passion. Mainly because my family tends to not rinse their dish off before throwing it into dirty water and I hate reaching into it D: I also hate touching dirty dishes, one reason I would never be able to work in a resturaunt. I don't mind so much doing my own, it's other people's.

I have even offered to my fiance that I will do every chore around the house if he does the dishes and takes out the trash.

Oh yeah, I hate taking out the trash too, but only because it is often too heavy for me and it hurts my back to lift. If I get to it early it is not so bad.

The worst one for me is not necessarily a regular chore, just something that happens a lot--I absolutely HATE having to clean up things that spill on the floor :rage: Anything--water, food, dirt, soap, I just absolutely cannot stand it. Because there's tile where I live, and so I have to use a paper towel to clean everything up, and then you have to wet the paper towel just a certain amount so that it's not too drippy, but enough to clean up the mess, but then after you wipe it, you have to use soap (unless it is soap or water) to wipe after it, and then that gets too sticky so you have to use a water paper towel again, and then so that you don't trip or make footprints all over the house, you have to use yet ANOTHER paper towel to dry it all up with  Holy crap, it is the most annoying freaking thing in the world, it just makes me want to tear my hair out :banghead:

I like to cook (cheesebread, sausages, eggs, frying, steaming), but not really into washing the dishes. In the end I would just leave the utensils and plates and etc into the sink, and come back and wash it 1-2hrs later. But most of the time I DID wash it off immediately.

Worst scenario is when i'm doing heavy cooking and my trash can is full. SO I have to find another small plastic bag just to throw off ie: egg shells, plastic wrappers etc away. Then I have to throw the rubbish after cooking and enjoying my meal.

Wow, you people and your dishes, gawd. lol

I like doing dishes, it's not so bad. :monster:

However I hate sweeping. :rage: I sweep and sweep and sweep.. AND IT NEVER GETS CLEAN. THERE'S ALWAYS DEBRIS.

It always gets pushed away and to the other end of the floor that by the time I'm done, there's always something left behind when I walk through with bare feet. ;-;

How about "the Line" >_> That line of dirt that's always there when you sweep dirt into a dustpan, but the tiny bit of stuff along the edge of the dustpan doesn't go in? :rage: And Swiffer doesn't do shit to the line, it just pushes it around :mokken: There has to be some kind of end to the eternal cycle of sweeping, finding the line, sweeping the line up from a different angle, and then still ending up with a different line in a hellish mockery of life for all eternity :gonk:And vacuuming doesn't work because there's always some kind of piece of stuff that it randomly won't pick up, even though it's the right size :sad3:

Yes... the dishes. :rage:

Especially when people don't fork off the food before they put the dish in the sink. Have you ever felt wet bread? >.< Also, no matter how many times I wash my hands after washing the dishes, they still smell like food. I can't think of anything more disgusting than that.

Other chores, hmmm. I honestly can't think of anything worse than the dishes, but the second runner up would have to be sweeping. Whenever I have to sweep my room, I usually sweep it out under the hallway rug. :shh: It's so time consuming getting out the dust pan, sweeping the wretched "line" up a million times... etc. I'd rather vacuum.

OH MY GOD THE LINE :rage:

Nothing gets rid of it. It will be the bane of my existence for it is never ending.. and for ever sweep there is a line that mocks me to my very core. :gasp:

Eww. >;

A person that knows how to handle a vacuum cleaner. :mokken:

I don't think there's a chore I despise doing, to be honest. Though I suppose I hate doing laundry. Not so much putting it into the washer, but like... Seeing as I'm not paying for a dryer, the hanging it is a pain in the ass. -.- I also hate it when you walk passed it, and it clings against you. It's just so... yuck. :lew:

Mowing the lawn is definitely top of the list. I swear I have to do it every 2 weeks and it's never even that long! WTF!

Second is washing the car. It's another one of those chores that seems to have to be done every week when it's quite obvious that that's unnecessary.

Polishing the glass tables and de-weeding the driveway. Let\s put this in point-form, because I could go on for miles.

Glass tables:
- The smell of windex all over the place kills me
- Can't get any help, so I have to lift that huge piece of glass off the table myself just to replace it later.

De-weeding:
- I have to remove the weeds off the tiny cracks in the driveway.
- I usually need tongs or tweezers to get it done
- It's lengthy work.

Washing the dishes because it grosses me out.

I'm fond of deweeding. I just have to do it in the regular garden (no tiny cracks or tweezers), it gives me a reason to be in the sun for a bit while still doing something useful <3.

Cleaning the bathroom takes the cake for me. I hate cleaning the toilet and getting pwnd by the soap scum in the shower every week. :gasp: I also hate raking the leaves in the fall and swiffering the tiled floors every other week :monster: ...Laundry I don't mind as I love the smell of dryer sheets and crawling into warm, crispy fresh and clean sheets at night.

Washing the dishes. Especially when there's so many of them. I'd rather clean the whole house than wash the dishes. I don't like cooking also because I might just end up burning our house. I can't cook.

Washing the car. :(
It's a good exercise and all, but my dad doesn't even help much and it's his car.
Thank the lord it's not a regular chore.
