Do you ever find commercials on old video tapes or on the internet from your child that bring back fond memories.

I remember this Pizza Hut commerical on my Land Before Time video. Land Before Time was once my favorite movie.


And who could forget these?

Whenever I reminisce about when I grew up, I just think about all the different TV commercial/channel icons. Green Giant (I haven't seen him in forever), Hamburger Helper hand (reappeared recently), Snuggle bear (reappeared recently), the Scrub 'n Bubbles brushes, Tony the Tiger, 7up's Cool Spot, MacGruff the Crime Dog, Smokey the Bear, etc.

As far as TV icons...who could forget Stick Stickley!

Of course, there are a ton, but I'm kinda brain-dead ATM...

I don't remember that Pizza Hut commercial at all.

I do, however, remember a good number of those Nickelodeon ones (we're the same age, so I should. I remembered a couple up to the one where all the different orange figures splattered into the ground, but from that one on, there really wasn't one I didn't recognize)

I don't care much for the bank, although I'm with them. On the other hand, it's pretty memorable for its hilarious head bopping.

Please, get out now if you don't know this. This is easily the best commercial in years and its other ones along with that. Compare The Meerkat never fails to put a smile on my face!

Is it strange that one of the commercials from my childhood that I remember fondly was a beer ad?


Then I remember this commercial scaring the crap out of me as a child.


And then this one just makes me laugh everytime I see it. Unfortunately, they had to change it because the idea of blowing up a child didn't sit well with people.

That's like the Wii before the Wii :awesome:. I didn't have the power glove, and I didn't get the blaster until much later (well after SNES...I bought it and SMB/Duck Hunt from my friend when he got rid of his NES)

I remember sitting at my old house when I was younger watching the Life. Be in it commercials:

I love watching them because they were about motivating people to get out and do things. It wasn't trying to sell you anything which is what ads on T.V are always about these days.

I always love watching the old old old ads about vegemite, bananas and aeroplane jelly. XD

They bring back memories of the old house and when I was a lot younger. <3




Couldn't find the original banana ad but this one shows the kids from the original ad and then years later when they're older.

Aw I loved all the Honda ads, they were all brilliant, there's a song on one of them that always got stuck in my head as well..

I use to pine for Wendy's when this dude was around. Now Wendy's is god awful for some reason..

Just goes to show you genuine people sell stuff.
