After much delay, the LPC continues. The theme this week is New York! Please remember, that while posting isn't necessary in order to count your vote, it is encouraged.

Also, please remember that you CANNOT vote for your own entry, and you will be disqualified from this LPC, and the next two LPCs if you do so.

OMG!! number 3 is so awesome, but i think i'm gonna go with #4

I just appealed the most to me, the whole design thing going on, and for some reason it reminds me of a maybelline ad, thats just me though.

What i love aout all of these entries is that they all have their own representations of New York. #1, reminds me of a musical, oddly. #2 is really beautiful, #3 is just...OMG and #4 is awesome. Great work guys
 
No.2 blows the competition away IMO.

I don't know if it was in the original photo, but the subtle blurring and sharpening of keys areas is fantastic. If that wasn't part of the original, then I would say it's professional level skill there. I'm a beginner so I wouldn't know anyway. :hmmm:

The lighting is really fantastic as well. It works very well with the photo and accentuates the neutral tones of the leaves and the tree.

I think the 'New York' text was a good choice but I'm not sure if the 'Central Park' text fits all that well. It still looks good though.

Also, I didn't like the thick half border. It seemed too heavy on the LP and seemed to box in what should be a very open and free image.

I voted for #2.

It stood out to me the most.

I love the image and the soft lighting.

It looks like the sunlight is shining down from the top left, through the tree leaves and down onto the text. <3

The text is really pretty and the colour choice works well.

I gotta pick number one. It's a bloody brilliant idea. And I love CSI: NY. The lighting and effects used are just amazing! Great job to who ever made it.

Awesome stock photo to begin with. But the subtle colouring throughout it really brings it out. Very very nice pice of art.

I love it. The colors are fantastic and i love the nature of it so, i really like this piece of work. it has a nice warm vibe to it and its very vibrant and colorful. It looks peaceful as well.
