I actually like Locke

I thought he was a pretty fun character, how everyone called him a thief when he failed at that. I never really made him steal in battle, he was my killing machine in that game I can't hate him.

And he has one of those pasts, you know, with Rachel and the Empire... I guess I have a soft spot for him.

Personally, I've found Locke has a fairly low Steal/Mug success rate as well, tbqh, maybe only 25 or 30 percent for me I like him as a character, but I don't end up using him all that much because of that; he has fairly average attack power and I prefer characters who are physically stronger in my main party, if I ever get into a fix. It's not the same situation as Zidane, where he can use extremely powerful Trance attacks and Thievery on top of having a much more reasonable Steal success rate
