... totally kicks ass. Definitely the best film I've seen this year, and probably the best I will. Funny in all the right places, and not horrible slap-stick, OTT comedy either. The characters were all cast very well I thought, even Nicolas Cage was great as Big Daddy.

This is excellent news! I first saw the commercials a few weeks ago and thought that it looked pretty great. Glad to hear it didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, I'm stuck waiting until April to see it.

Meh, this is one Im gonna avoid. At first I was sorta keen on seeing it. Then watching more trailers, I started getting put off it. I may rent it or borrow it from a friend when its out on DVD, but Im not gonna spend money on it.

That is great news. I've been looking forward to seeing this movie. It kind of looks like the same kind of humour they had in Zombieland, which I loved.
Now I'm really pumped to go see it!

I've been thinking of seeing this in the cinemas for a few weeks now. I might go see it sometime during the Easter holidays. Looks decent enough and the critics are giving it very positive reviews as well.

I'm definitely gonna go see this film, hopefully sometime during the Easter holidays. It looks like a very clever, but very funny, super-hero spoof. I think when they're done correctly, spoof films are brilliant xD

Even if it's not a spoof film, I still reckon it'll be worth seeing :gasp:

I don't think it is a spoof, all too well mind, spoofs have been so awful lately :sad3: but this film is supposed to be really good, and I'll definetely be seeing it during the Easter holidays. It's a comic book adaptation from what I hear, and the comic book was supposed to be good so...yeah :wacky: Plus Christopher Mintz never fails to make me laugh, bless our McLovin'. :ryan:

I really want to go see this. I'm on a date today so I may take her to see it.
I'm glad it's getting some good reviews people. Anything with MCLOVIN in it is awesome.
I just really dont want it to let me down seeing as there is so much hype for it.

Hell yes, I just saw this and it is a fantastic movie!

It really did kick ass. XD

There was so much action and Hit Girl was such a fantastic actress! :gasp:

It was funny and it has McLovin from Superbad too. XD

The ending definitely leaves an opening for another movie in my opinion, though I doubt it'd happen. =P

I wasn't a real fan of some of the 'language' Hit Girl used considering she's so young, but other than that IT IS AWESOME! :gasp:

You must see it!

I'm glad to see another positive review! I'm definitely seeing this when it gets to theaters around here.

Also: it's funny you should mention Hit Girl's language, Kandy; there's was a lot of controversy over some of her lines because of how vulgar they were. Apparently, in response to that controversy, Chloe Mortez (the actress who plays Hit Girl) said in an interview that "If I ever uttered one word that I said in Kick-Ass, I would be grounded for years! I'd be stuck in my room until I was 20! I would never in a million years say that. I'm an average, everyday girl." Apparently, she even refers to it as "the film" in public and "Kick-Butt" at home.

I've been wanting to watch this movie. It looks fucking hilarious!
I bet it is too. From the pre-views and the trailer it looks fucking awesome! xD

I'll probably go see it sometime with keke i love movies like this so, i'm really hyped to see it ^^ and hopefully we'll see it soon >_>

Plus, i've been seeing really positive feedbacks so, i'm sure its a good flick.

-Sighs- I have a very dry sense of humor...the trailer is just not doing anything for me. =/ I have no desire to see the film, but only because I'm very picky with comedy movies. I know my friends and everyone I know wants to see it next weekend but I'm not going. >.> A lot of comedy movies that normally a bunch of people find hilarious really really annoys the hell out of me. I especially don't like it when I'm watching a comedy movie with people, and an actor says something stupid, the audience laugh and try to sneak a glance at me to see if I'm laughing...it just turns me off. xD

Kick-Ass is one of those. Yeah I know I should give it a chance, but the mere thought of it annoys me even more. -_- I don't like comedy movies that has a bunch of preteens / teenagers as the main cast. Sometimes I think a lot of the comedy films these days are trying way too hard to be funny, but that's just me. I blame it on my lack of sense of humor, which I'm not ashamed to admit to. =]
