It should be illegal..

And telemarketers. They practically invade your home

Telemarketers are easy to deal with...put your number on the Do Not Call list.

Nielsen (the TV rating group) is worse than any telemarketer. You tell them not to call again, and they continue to call. We were getting two calls a day from them at one point. Apparently, their policy is to make you call a separate number to stop the calls, yet, they also apparently have the ability to do it while on the phone with you...they just refuse to.

But...for that matter, anything not covered under the Do Not Call list can be quite annoying. Phone surveys are the absolute worst. If I can't answer "I don't know" because I honestly don't have a fucking clue and it's a yes or no question, don't tell me that I have to answer yes or no, because I don't know, damnit! Oh and the whole "This survey will take 5-10 minutes", then you are still taking the damn survey 30 minutes later. My mom actually had one with Subway a few nights ago, and during it, the guy she was talking to insisted on asking her what she had on her sub, ingredient by ingredient. She told him all 5 things she had, and he still continued to ask her, even though she said "I only had these 5 ingredients". But hey, she got 2 free subs out of it.

Whew...what a rant!

And he/she is probably a smelly kid.

A debt collector kept harassing me over a petty 200 dollars i owed from like four years ago. So I started calling them back over and over and they got tired of it and stopped calling. Eye for eye, bitch!

Over a course of a couple weeks, it was /them: 5/ and /me: 12/. Fuck yeah once they get the message that harassment isn't going to open your wallet, they'll stop.

... to charge for DLC when the game already had the extra scene, so instead you had to pay to unlock it (Gear of War 2) :rage:

In my case, they're doing themselves a favor. And in reality, no they can't. Just because they are a company does not mean they are excused from harassment laws. If they want to further their case, they have to do it accordingly. They just take advantage of the fact that people won't file it because they know the agency will counter afterwards. You just gotta be crafty, like me :)

Gears of War= Awesome. Beats the hell out of Halo, at least as far as online play

:thehell: whhhat! gears has the worst online. It has the biggest host advantage that ive ever seen in a game and only has like 3 game modes. Halo is the greatest online game out. Now gears has a way better campaign but its not even close to halo online.

Halo: punch to the back of the head beats rocket launcher aimed at face. skill potential= button mash. mods-R-us. can't hide anywhere. no structure. No greatness except to the extent that it's stuck up its own ass.

Not tryin to start nuthin, jus sayin it aint my kinda shooter

to me gears has no tactic or even requires that much skill. its just a matter of who can rush the power weapons first.

an assassination and rocket to the face would both kill sooo. skill potential is a lot more than a button mash since you can jump around, crouch, strafe while shooting or throw a perfect grenade so you can get that one headshot off. also in halo you can hide anywhere and everywhere. you just cant press a button and stick to a wall.
