That my entire family thinks i should join the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society? (I am 110% serious). Their reasoning: how completely excited and crazy i get about the show (Whale Wars) and their completely insane battle-like tactics against these whaling ships.

Though, to be honest, it looks like fun, but they're crazy.

Well, for one, i've never had the chance to do something close to that, so you never know . And two, i argued that, saying 'hell, all i can really do is cook' and they're like 'they need cooks!'.

It was really the oddest discussion i've ever had with my family.

Nope. Volunteer. Obviously room and board is covered. If i'd do it, it wouldn't be until i finish school.

Its not crazy.. And if you feel like doing it just do it . Its a good thing and it can be a very unique a rewarding experience for the future. Besides it is also something to brag about.

What they do is nobel! I wish I had the balls like them. They actually stand up against wale killers.

I have a lot of respect for them.

Personally I think its a waste of time, but thats the whole problem. The more people like me that actually think its pointless and doesnt do shit are exactly this worlds problem. People that either dont care or are idle/neutral/lazy.
