The only time I ever am at a loss of words online is when someone says something really stupid. Offensive things actually get me going in the bad way.
In real life, I'm speechless practically all the time, particularly because what my friends say are rather incomprehensible. :P

In all seriousness though, the one true time I was at a loss of words was when my father died. It's hard to say goodbye and the only way I could express myself was crying. That was 7 years ago.

Anything leave you speechless in your life?

;)

Nah, not from people who make stupid or offensive remarks, that just tends to bring out the wonderful smart ass inside me.

What does leave me speechless is watching people do incredibly stupid things on the news.

I'm speechless when someone of equal insulting skeelz as myself (irl now) manages to tap into my emotional strings and criticize how I shield myself in the way I do, and for the reasons I do it. Huge rant exchange that night... fucking impressive too. o_O

Only happened once, but it was the one and only time I can recall being utterly pwned... and thus speechless. We didn't know eachother at the time, but now we're quite good friends. xD I always manage to muster something to say on most occasions, making this all the more odd for me.

Speechless, speechless...
Normally when someone starts talking about awkward or unusual topics. There's this goth girl at my hair salon who says things like "I set a mouse on fire with hairspray" and "I don't have a father" on totally random intervals. I remember answering my phone in front of her once, and after I hung up, I smiled and said "it was my dad." And she replied "I don't have a dad. he walked out on us when I was little."
I was...both unmoved by her statement, and at that point in time, I thought to myself "that's nice, but I don't care."
I'm not very sympathetic you see. And subjects that require my emotional support or attention leave me speechless. =\

I suppose I'm at a loss of words when I'm caught with doing something bad and I just have shame and remorse on my side. It's hard to admit that I'm wrong sometimes, but if I know that argument is futile, that leaves me speechless then.

Now if we're talking about online...um, I don't think I've ever been speechless. Whenever someone makes a stupid remark, I'll simply smirk and say something stupid as well...you know, just so that the other person won't feel alone in this world. ;)

I'm at a loss of words when someone says something really stupid and doesn't really make sense. Like my friend Ashleigh and I where at Chicago and she asked me where the Empire State Building was since she claimed that she saw it last time in Chicago. I mean what am I supposed to say to that?

I can be at a loss for words when I call friends online for the first time. This didn't happen with Christoff, though. Sadly Christoff and I have parted ways now. It's saddening, but I shant go into detail.

Other times...Hmmm. Well, sometimes I'm lost for words when someone says something I don't understand. I have a friend who often says she doesn't know what she's said, which also gets confusing. T_T

I like to think I've always got some sort of remark to make, be it a "smart" remark, or an actual intelligent one. :monster:
I usually go quiet at awkward situation, or like Rhea thar, emotional ones. I'm no good at giving support and advice and stuff like that really.

Like Saix, I only ever become speechless if I'm utterly owned, which is actually quite rare, despite popular belief. I'm usually quite quick with something to say, either as an opening statement or as a reply/retort.

I am, however, quite shy when it comes to breaking the ice with people you're not entirely comfortable around. There's got to be something to talk about; otherwise, there's pure silence.

Yeah, I actually get that at work quite a lot. There's a few people who I just don't talk to at all because I haven't cared to get to know them. Probably because I have little in common with them.

Meh, you can't shut me up in an IRL argument unless you're planning to kill me or something crazy like that. If someone doesn't shut up once an argument starts, I storm off somewhere to get some fresh air and do something else. If there's nowhere to storm off to like, if we're in a car, I'll do something incredibly outrageous so everyone shuts up. I'm not one to tolerate bitching very well since it always happens around my general area where I sit down and do stuff. If you're yelling and bitching with someone in my goddamn ear, you better get ready for a damn rude awakening. xD

On the internets, I'm often at a loss for words. I'll stop posting/messaging if I know that what I'm saying is completely pointless or someone says something extremely retarded that annoys me to no end.
