Right, I got that, but in the song it's impossible to tell which syllable they're emphasizing because it's a cartoon theme song so they're basically shouting the whole time.

When they say the word in the show the first syllable is always stressed.

If it's just to make the e make sound like a long a, I am going to be irritated.
