just to clarify i mean like "grocery" shopping. not shopping for new dildos or jeans or prayer beads etc.

i find i need to get a shop in on a weekly basis.

shops, what are shops... cuz that what mums are for

i usually go every few days. i don't like to plan my meals a week in advance like some people, and since i don't drive it's easier to walk to morrisons two or three times a week than to carry a week's worth of shopping back with me

We go every two weeks. Usually me and Dad go in the early morning hours. Since we have a van, we don't have to worry about much. The hardest part of shopping is taking everything to the car from the market! XD

We usually have alot if groceries. But after the eating rampage I've been on for the past.... week, there's probably gonna have to be alot more this time around! XD

i shop pretty much every week just for groceries

i don't really spend that much money on anything else unless my computer needs to be upgraded. and even then, all of that is done online.

I go clothes shopping only when I have money and pass the clothing store on the 13 of the month.

I go food shopping every day. I just iffy when food begins to run low in the fridge. I may have developed a problem with that. :hmmm:

I only shop when I see bargains and really stock up so I don't have to shop for said item for a long time.
Iif I am in desperate need of something such as toilet paper or something that I really want to make dinner with that I don't already have, then there is an exception for the extra trip.
Though I work at the shops, so I just go after work and there's no fuel or time really wasted, so its not really an extra trip I guess. :hmmm:

Some people (like my parents) go on a weekly basis (sometimes twice a week) and just buy whatever without actually checking that they're getting the product at a decent price.

Steve and I always look at the price per kilo and compare it with other items etc etc, just so we know we are getting more for our money, which means it will last longer and our shops are only every couple of weeks or so.

That being said, our fortnightly shops will usually only consist of groceries such as vegetables, bread, milk and other things that will need to be replenished. It's easy to stock up on freezer lines and jarred/tinned food when they're on special and we don't have to buy them as frequently.
