Lion King is one of my favorite movies of all time!
 
My neighbor sold it to us in one of those junk sales for a fiver. Someone clearly had no taste in film. :monocle:

Anyone ever play the megadrive lion king game? I remember it well. Specially that level where you had to swing from all the monkeys. Pretty great game.
 
I think that was the same level actually. I remember the level with elephant graveyard aswell. It was made by virgin who also made the alladin megadrive game. One of the best games of that generation.

Seen any good films lately pooley? Im back in film mode, trying to catch up on all my dvds.
 
I vaguely remember that game.

It was during the days before I had a console or could play games. I was sat in a friend's lounge and they were playing it. So it seemed like magic to me at the time.

I remember liking the movie a lot. I don't think I've seen much of it since childhood though. Only the Nazi-Hyena scene and the Timon and Pumba bits have I seen recently. Both for obvious reasons.
 
It had great cartoon graphics for its day. Stood out amongst others.

I Dont belive i have conor though it has a high rating on IMDB so il hunt it down for a good price. I did watch drive angry the other day though. That was interesting.
 
drive is very good. i saw the avengers the other day, which was awesome. i've been mostly rewatching doctor who lately so i haven't seen that many new films.
 
I watched a couple of movies i had on a marvel boxset. Had them for ages but put off watching them as i expected them to be shite. First was the fantastic 4 which was alot better than i thought itd be. Not great but i enjoyed it enough. Jessica alba is a fox. The other was Electra which i sirurpisingly liked for the first half hour. Then i had no idea what was going on. I assume you need to have read the comments to know who the characters were and what the back story was etc so it lost me completely.

I also watched equilibrium for the first time. Actually really liked that.
 
The new Marvel movies a lot better than those ones too.

Iron Man (and 2), The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America and the Avengers are all very good.
 
Il gert it from amazon Conor. Give me a week or 2 and il report my thoughts.

I really liked iron man actually. I havent seen the second one yet however. Il maybe pick up a boxset at the weekend. I usually always expect to hate superhero movies but when done right theyre really good.
