So how many games have you guys played more than once? I personally don't like replaying a game unless more than 5 years have passed and I'm in the mood for reminiscing the good old days. I notice that after I finish an RPG game, it'll give you the option to continue with bonus features, stats, and items you've collected during your first play through. I honestly don't give a damn about that. I've finished the game; it's time to finally move on to the next one.


Anyway, here's the games I've replayed. There's not a whole lot though, and my replays were never completed.

-Final Fantasy VII: I tried to replay it twice now, but the memory card kept screwing me up and before I knew it, all my game files were lost. So I just gave up.

-Final Fantasy VIII: Tried to replay it once but never did got too far with it.

-Lunar 2: Again, never finished my replay.

-Tomb Raider II: Same as the above.


And I think that's all. I've had no successful replays. =[ But that may change soon since now 3rd Birthday has sparked my interest and I'm itching to buy Parasite I and II (which I've already played before) and play them once more. Thoroughly.
 
Wow...this list is gonna be long. When I end up LOVING a game, I'll play it over and over. I'll give an estimate for times I've played the game as well...out of boredom.

Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (5 times)
Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (5 times)
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction (2 times)

...just got tired of trying to name them all. There's more, but they didn't come to mind immediately, so screw it.

Oh, and there's a ton of multiplayer games I play over and over. Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, TimeSplitters, and Unreal to name a few. So yeah, I replay my games a lot.
 
Well what happens quite often is I start a game, get fairly far, get stuck, put it down and restart several months later because I can't remember what's going on story-wise. This has happened several times with Kingdom Hearts, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy X, Silent Hill, Diablo II and Warcraft III among other things.

The only games which I have actually finished on several occasions are:

Metal Gear Solid - roughly five times

Metal Gear Solid 2 - about 3 times

Crash Bandicoot 2 - twice

Crash Bandicoot 3 - 3-4 times

and all the party games and fighting games I have. But they don't count because they are incredibly short.

I'm very much the same, I find RPG's incredibly long, tedious and time consuming so I only play them once, and once I've finished the story, that's it, I really can never be bothered with the special features. I may decide to play some RPG's again later on though, but that will be in a few years time.
 
Any game I've completed once tends to have been replayed at one point or another. I feel a bit fruity when replaying games, though, because I seem to act as though I've never played it before. I'll silently gasp at the right moments and pretend to be thinking about what to do, just to fit the part. xD

I give you all permission to ignore me henceforth.
 
I tried a few times with certain games which was fun to replay them again, while others... I didn't feel like starting over again or continuing over a period of time.

Dynasty Warriors 2: 3 times, I didn't start any new game. I kept trying to continue story mode with my characters but it was getting a bit hard at times to finish.
Dynasty Warriors 4: 2 times, Same as above but story mode got way too boring after playing the same kingdom characters again since they have the same storyline/battles.
Dynasty Warriors 5: Once, I started a new file playing as Sun Quan but I lost motivation to start all over again.
FFIV: 10 times, mainly because I did this combined with the SNES, GBA, and DS version.
FFVI: 7 times, same as above minus the DS version since it's not on that system yet.
FFVII: 4 times, I just kept playing a new game file each time I beat it.
FFVIII: 4 times, same as above.
FFX: 3 times, same as above.

Iv played sonic and super mario bos more times than I cn can count, I guess the sme can be applied with FFVII & VIII

I have replayed those games more thn I can shake a stick at, specially Sonic because I got a megadrive for xmas and i just over played it :monster:
 
I'm terrible with replaying games, I'll start and then start replaying other games or playing new games. Sometimes I have a terrible attention span. I'm currently replaying about seven games. I'll only really replay a game for it's story, so when I'm battling baddies I don't really pay attention, so it's less of an experience because I'm less involved. Whilst I do pay attention to the story line, I don't gasp when something shocking happens:monster:
 
my list:

Kingdom Hearts II :played and replayed around 12-15 times.
Final fantasy VII : Played completed, replayed and re-completed over 20 times, i just pick this game up and then can't put it down.
Final fantasy 10 : same as VII, when i pick it up i just can't put it donw.
Devil may cry : love all the carnage, great way to release Stress
Devil may cry 2 : Same as above but with better graphics
Devil may cry 3 : Same as above but with better graphics
Devil may cry 4 : Same as above but with Nero...and better graphics
Croc: legend of the Gobbo's : must have completed this 7/8 times as i just love the little statements croc shouts as he tail whips "Ka-Pow"
 
I have an obsession with the MGS saga as it is my favorite.

Metal Gear Solid 1 - Roughly 70+ times. Seriously... it could easily be more then 100 but I know it as LEAST 70.

Metal Gear Solid 2 - Around 6 it is my least favorite of the series.

Metal Gear Solid 3 - 11 times

Metal Gear Solid 4 - Yes although it has just recently come out I played it 17 times. I played it over and over to get the awards.

Final Fantasy VIII - 4x

Final Fantasy IX - 5x

Final Fantasy X - 3x
 
The only game that I've played more than once is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. That's only because you can beat it in a week. I've never replayed an FF because I started playing the series last year but when I've played them all I'll replay some of them.
 
Where to start lol. Well the Final Fantasys are always at the top, then the many RPGs I own follow suit. I cant tell you the number I re-play most of them, but I think FF8 has a whole memory card devoted to it!
 
I replay almost all of my Final Fantasy games. Once through is enough for me on other series though, unless a few years go by and I feel like refreshing my memory. Anyway, here's the main ones I've played more than once:

Dirge of Cerberus - 3 times all the way through
Crisis Core - on second playthrough
Final Fantasy X - 2 times all the way through
Kingdom Hearts II - 2 times all the way through
Kingdom Hearts - 2 times through
FFX-2 - 2 times through
 
i replayed quite a few but ffxii is the one that stands out most becuz i got 140hrs and i den found out bout zodiac spear so i started all over again
 
I dont really replay games that much, although i want to, just want to play other games and i dont have the time to replay them with school and crap.

But anyway, here are the games i can remember:

Fire Emblem 7- 2 playthroughs, and am on a third one on hard mode that i havent pciked up in months.

Chrono Trigger- Love this game to death and cant count how many times i have played it. Although it has been a while since i picked it up.

Metroid Fusion- Another game i love, always trying to beat my completion time (if i ever get below 2hrs i can die happy) again, have not pciked it up in a while.

FFX- played through it about 2 or 3 times. Just like the system and it is nice and short compared to other FF's

There are others, just cant recall them

I never complete final fantasy games when i replay them, i always get bored the turn off before the final boss/.
 
i've played ff7 way too many times to count. around 400 hours of game play on that alone.

parasite eve is possible the game ive beaten most, it has its own memory card. i have to beat it each time with a different gun and armor so naturally ive playe it 100+
 
I tend to replay a lot of games that I enjoy, especially if I haven't played them for awhile.

I've played a good number of Final Fantasy games over, like VII, VIII and X. I was going to play XII again once I beat Persona 4.

I also replay games if I want to get lik,e "perfect" games or do harder modes.

For example, I've played the KH series over to do the harder modes and extras.

And games like Resident Evil 4 and Metal Gear are nice to play over and over just for fun.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII (replayed this several times)

Final Fantasy X
Super Smash Bros (erased all data, and unlocked everything over again. That counts as replaying a game, right? XD).
Super Smash Bros. Melee (same as above, though I did it multiple times for Melee. <.<)

I am positive I must be forgetting something, but that is what I can think of that I have replayed through completely at least once.
 
honestly like alot of people ive played FFX more then once... i dont play it from start to finish anymore though.. i usually just start at boss save points. oh and FF12 ive played bout 4-5 times through.. that was when it first came out and i was like totally addicted to tha game .. now it kinda suks imo.

and finally WoW.. and if u think it cant be beaten... think again =p right now killing sartharion on heroic difficulty with 3 drakes up is considered gg =) and ive done it three times now so ya...

I think I've played every Devil May Cry game at least a hundred times. Besides 4, which I'm halfway through. xP

I've played FFVII about five or six times, VI three... IX three...

And Resident Evil I have raped to the max. :D
