You awake to find yourself in a dimly lit room, along side people you've never seen before. Looking around to see your surroundings, you notice two doors. One to the east, and one to the west. Connected to the ceiling, you see a light hanging down, the wires exposed from the ceiling. The room looks of 1800's Victorian style. However, due to the fact that there is a desk with a broken computer on it, you realize that you've in no way time traveled.
You take note of the desk, and walk over to it to find a note. The note reads:
Welcome to Paranoia, a project that I'm writing up in hopes of what will be a rather successful forum game. If you've ever played a Text Adventure before, you'll be more familiar with what I'm trying to create here. If not, please check out the wikipedia article located below for a better grasp of the concept.

The plot and narrative will be written by me. What makes this unique is that I have to write senarios according to the actions of the player (you), and hope that I can provide an interesting, yet fun, experience for each and everyone who participates. Meaning that everyone in the experiment, will be dealing with situations, and problems, conjured up from my mind. Which, I'll have you know, should prove to be very entertaining to you all.
Very simple things can end up changing the outcome of the game. Such as the amount of people that I have join. If I have enough, I'll have to create more starting rooms, for more groups. I hope to have at least 4 people to a starting location, and have you all meet up later in the game.
Now, I'll admit that I more than likely don't have everything thought out, I tend to miss things, but as far as “gameplay” goes, I'll attempt to describe it to the best of my ability in the form of examples.

The first thing is, I'm going to have to write the outcomes of the decisions of every player. So, when it comes to what order I would be writing these in, it's first come; first served. So if two characters are fighting a man with a sword, I would have to write something like this:
Player 1 posts: “I attack the man with a right hook swing from my fists.”
Player 2 posts: “I kick the man with my right foot.”
(Notice how they didn't actually write them hitting the man. I will explain in the next example.)
I write: “Player 1 swings at the man with a strong right hook. The blow is successful, and the man stumbles backward, clutching his face in pain. As the man stumbles, player 2 kicks the man with his right leg. However, the blow is unsuccessful as the man manages to block the kick, and retaliates with a punch of his own to player 2.”
Now, player 2 has just been attacked. He can either dodge, or block. Depending on what he chooses, he'll get something like this:
Player 2 posts: I decide to block.
I write: “The block is successful, player 2 takes no damage.”
Combat would go something like this.

However, how would I decide what is “successful” and what is “unsuccessful”? Each action would be determined by a simple dice roll that I will be using. (I will also provide prove by screenshot if someone believes me to be writing them off.) If you try an action, and I roll a 1-6, you are unsuccessful, if your try, and I roll a 7-12, you're successful.
It's pretty simple, really. Live by the dice, die by the dice. (I'll be using two, so it's plural, damn it.)
Now, every player will have 15HP, meaning you can take 15 hits.
To make things more interesting, there can only be one winner, only one person will be able to escape from the world of Paranoia alive. So, while you have to work together to find a way out, at some point, you're all going to have to fight each other to live. (Attacking being controlled by the roll of the dice, of course.)
The people that are you friends now, can easily be your enemy later. Lie, manipulate, cheat, and steal to get what you need. See someone in a fight with an NPC? You can either help them, or find a way to sabotage them.
The choice is yours, and yours alone.

If you would like to play, simple leave your name below so I can sign you up. Please, do try not to go inactive if you're planning on playing. I can, and more than likely will have you eaten by a Grue.
ONE MORE THING
I do hold the right to disapprove of you joining the game. However, I doubt I'll ever have to exercise this right... Unless I don't like you, then you can go fuck yourself.
Feel free to ask questions below.

You take note of the desk, and walk over to it to find a note. The note reads:
However, upon turning the note around, you see something written in what looks like blood, with a more sinister message:Greetings, my dearest Experiment,
I see you've found this note as I planned. I do hope you aren't too shocked at what's going on here. You see, I needed to get you all here for my experiment. I've been following all of you for years, and I've come to the conclusion that you will be perfect for this experiment. Now, please don't be surprised by what you'll see and hear in this place. If anything, you should find it quite... Fun.
Now, you'll find that there are two doors here, one to the east, and one to the west. You can either split up, or you can all go in one door. Chose wisely.
