First car

first car was a 96 saturn 4 door. i hated it. now i know what im doing and moved up a lot

I don't have one, yet, but my dad's on the lookout for the typical kinds of first cars: Citroen Saxo, Renault Clio, Vauxhall Corsa, etc.

I don't care - as long as it can move and is MINE.

My first car is the one I currently have now, which is a '96 Ford Mustang. It's a really great car, especially since it goes fast :wacky:

The only thing I don't like about it is the color. Normally I like green, but the shade of green on my car is just ugly >_>

I had a 1992 Dodge Spirit. It was a serious piece of crap but it was all mine.

This is what mine looked like.:highfive: I know it dont look like much but it was actually really fun to drive.

Well my 1st car given to me, running and everything, was a 1966 ford fairlane 500xl, it had a shelby gt's 289 hypo engine in it, rebuilt and all that goodie goodie, im still restoring the interior and body, gotta get it painted, though the 1st car i bought was a 1992 chevy beretta

I bought my first ever car, which was a 1992 Ford Laser in 2006.

In 2007 it died due to my evil ex-boyfriends younger brother stealing it. The pictures I have of it completely crushed are at my parents house. Not that I'd want to see my poor little car in that condition again anyway =( He had to be destroyed. Wasn't anything they could do to fix it.

My second car in 2007 was a 1981 Holden Gemini.

It was an alright car for a few months but ended up dying on me due to old age.

My current car at the moment is a 2001 Lancer Wagon GLXI.

I LOVE MY NEW CAR! It's such a smooth ride and is the luxury edition of that model car. I'm going to keep it until I can afford a new Suzuki Swift. >_<

I don't have a picture of my new car but here is one that I found on the internet that is exactly the same even in the colour.

The following is my future car:

Love to put some black racing stripes down the middle and get this buff body kit I've been wanting to get for it...when I get the car =P

I'm still learning how to drive, but I've already got a car >_> After I've passed my test, my dad's giving me his Clio so he can buy himself a new car. It's nice to have my own car and all that, even though I HATE IT. It's the sodding clutch pedal, I can't get it *quite* right in this car D=

Although, once I've passed my driving test and all that, I'll love it. It's 6 years old, but it's only done like 20,000 miles, and it feels like brand new. It'll just be nice to have a car that's all mine xD

Mine was a 1973 mustang.
Pretty nice car.
Cept my older brothers hogged it all and considering im youngest they were the ones who were more 'responsible' and they're the reason why i don't have this car anymore >_< (yes i had to share it with them)
Can't find any pics of this beauty :(
Ahh, the days.

I'm hoping to have myself a new Renault Mégane Coupé which is cool since it looks quite nice. Thankfully, the grandparents are buying me it. :)

An old white Mazda I got when I was 12. That I drove around on a closed track. First real car that I could take out on the main road was and still is the 1993 Volkswagen Cabriolet. (still has it)

Aw, fun thread! Too bad it hasn't had any responses in a while! *tries to bring it back to life*

I learned to drive on a Crown Victoria which is what most of our cop cars look like in America... 8 cylinder and pretty large ass vehicles!

When I got my license my parents gave me my older brother's old 1999 Mustang GT.

This one is also 8 cylinder but won't STOP. XD The brakes are really bad on it. But it's oh so much fun.

my first car was a white 2000 corolla that was a hand me down from my sister. it wasn't the best looking car at that the time that it became mine, but it still good enough. it gets me from point a to point b fine without problem so thats good

Proud to say 96' Toyota Camry - Green tinted - 34 miles to the gallons - 14 gallon tank.

This car was epic, not just because of the gas mileage but because for some odd reason the used car salesman didn't see what was in the trunk. (he would have appraised it at 2,000 more dollars) I had a very nice sound system, and I don't mean bass. I mean I had a 6 disc cd changer, quad sound system with a 1000 watt amp. I literally had the loudest car in Nashville if I wanted to deafen myself. The car drove like a champ even if it wasn't that stylish. To be honest I was happy to have it compared my friends who had Xterras, Four Runners, Land Rovers, and an occasional mustang. I never in my 3 years of driving it had any problems with it, through driving through snow, through taking a road trip here and there.. not once did my check engine like come on.

Never had one ticket, nor wreck the that puppy. I kind of wish I kept it over the intrepid I bought 3 years later.

My first car was a white 1995 Mitsubishi Diamante LX. This meant leather interior, power everything, 6CD changer...all those things a young 16-year-old could dream of. =P

It was my parents' car, and I started begging them for it when I turned 15. I begged and begged for a year, and finally got it...only to have some girl hit me and total it just a few months later. :ness:

The insurance money bought me my current car, a dark green 1997 Honda Accord. I've had the car ever since, it's been about 5 years. It's a stick-shift, and I will love it until it falls apart on me. :wacky:

Technically, mine was a sunfire. Total piece of shit, but I never drove it. The headgasket was screwed, so I just gave it to my cousin and her and her dad fixed it.

Then I bought my uncle's Lebaron, 1989. I love it.

The first car that's ever belonged to us as a family is a 1997 family van from some car company. I can't be arsed to look up the brand right now. XD

Anyway, we bought it off of some dude for some amount of money. It's shockingly working very well. It came to us damn near brand new. We've only had to car for a year, but it's doing it's thing right now.

I fear this car will be mine soon...

My first car was a 1994 Honda Accord. I bought it from a used car dealership. It had a few problems at first. When I turned it off, I had to wait about 30 minutes before I would be able to turn it on again. I could sometimes get it going with a push start. But it was very inconvenient to say the least. Stalling at the traffic lights was the worst; unless I was on a hill. I ended up getting that fixed though and the car was fine after that....until someone blew it up.

I now have a 1998 Accord that I bought from an old lady. I hated it at first because it wasn't my old car. But it is much better than my old one. When I'm home, I never park on the street anymore. :wacky:
