Final Fantasy IX: The Fall of Mages RP

Meanwhile Aboard the ship: Shera was sweeping the lower decks of the ship searching carefully and tactfully, slipping through the shadows silently and swiftly.

She had already found another assassin since sending Shenju to find Richard, it was an assassin well below her expectations of the usual Oeilblum Dark blades as he seemed to be very clumsy, fumbling with his sword as he went to unsheath it making the combat between Shera and the assassin very short, Shera coming out the clear victor...

As she probed the lower decks, she spotted a darkened out cabin with several whispers coming from it, as she crept towards the door an old plank creaked underfoot and the light flashed on...she quickly ducked behind a barrel as the men dressed in black assassin suits marked with the Insignia of Oeilblum began to look outside of the door.

As the men began to probe the deck searching for signs of an intruder, Shera reached into a pouch on her belt and pulled out a vial of "Black Lotus" poison and pulled a shuriken from her gi, she coated the shuriken in poison and waited till the men had there backs turned and were looking behind another nearby barrell and threw the shuriken into the nearest, knocking him to the floor with a slight gasp of pain...

The 2nd clearly now alerted that this was no ordinary intruder, unsheathed his sword and moved towards the barrell where Shera was hid hastily and went to jump over it with his sword tip pointed downward...

As he landed his blade struck into the old plank deck, and he felt a slight tap on the shoulder, he gulped and looked around...

"No boarding pass I see, lights out for you then" Shera uttered as she ran her blade across his throat sending blood gushing from the wound across her gi and all over the deck floor, with a slight smile she sheathed her sword knowing that her work was done for the night...

TAHOMI - Old friend

Richard smiled to himself when they had boarded the airship. It was a huge one, pretty well developed as well. He walked in and just in case gave a look to back. It seemed as Letitia was there. But that didn't matter anymore, as they all had boarded by now. He slowly closed the door behind him and touched a stone. A magic barrier instantly covered the door.

'' No tricks to enter ehh .'' Richard muttered as he knew that with the magic barrier, even Vivius couldn't enter the ship. After all, he only used high-class warships to travel. He then turned around and followed Vivius. The moment he was passing Tahomi, he told:

'' You can relax now. There won't be any spies here.'' Richard's voice was so calm and relaxing, that Tahomi also was certain about the fact that there are no spies. But her job demanded her to control, just in case. She turned away and started wandering around the ship. It was really huge and noble. She never had ride that kind of airship before. Slowly she stepped trough a doorway and moved towards a rooms toilet room. Some kind of noise came out from toilet room. She unseated her blade, but the moment she kicked the door open, she was lying down. A half naked muscular man, almost as huge as Richard was standing over him. The towel didn't hide much and so Tahomi quickly jumped up and turned her back.

'' Sorry mister, I thought that this ship is private.'' Tahomi's voice was straight and loud. The man smiled to her. It was her old teacher when she had joined Black Lotuses academy.

'' It is ... you know, I and Richard are quite good friends. And after all, this airship belongs to me so I like to live here.'' The man continued. Tahomi smiled softly and took her mask away.

'' So that's why the king wasn't able to find you any more. Seems as Sheera wasn't able to do it as well.'' Tahomi told. The man had quit the academy as a teacher a year ago. And after that, when they wanted him back, no-one was able to find him as he never was at home.

'' Yeah ... this ship is pretty well defended. I have to thank Vivius as when I bought it, it was wartime. So I thought that it would be best to hide myself here. Vivius put some fantastic charms on it and so it's invisible when wanted, also it's impossible to appear inside it and so on. Pretty darn fantastic.'' The man told loudly and sit down.

'' So you shouldn't worry about the spies here.'' He told and took coffee. He offered some to Tahomi as well.

'' So how have you been?'' He asked. Tahomi smiled gently and started talking.

RICHARD - Meantime
----------------------------

Richard walked towards the captain room. When he made his way there he spotted a old friend, well-known warship general of Daguerro.

'' Thanks for your aid.'' Richard told the moment the captain spotted him. He gave him a strong handshake and continued piloting the ship.

'' So, how is the situation in Daguerro?'' Vivius asked and sat down.

'' Not sure ... I am afraid we won't make it to Madain Sari. Oeilbum has already pushed the line towards St. Gentle capitol. I think it won't be able to hold them back. Tho, they haven't started the full war.'' The captain told and took a whiskey.

'' Hmm, hope they will hold on. As Madain Sari has some serious fighters waiting for me.'' Richard told. Vivius laughed quietly and stood up.

'' I will go to my room.'' He told and left. Richard followed him.

'' I hate that I charmed this ship ... it's so boring to walk all the way to my cabin.'' Vivius told and Richard started laughing.

'' Good old you...'' He muttered.

OOC: Be ready, the war will broke soon. Sooner then we all thought :D

Letitia was already aboard, invisible, sitting in the cargo room, infesting the contents of the room with dark traps to eliminate anyone who tried to fight her. They could restrain Tahomi, possibly even Richard, but she had a feeling that the child prodigy would have little problem with the traps.
 
OOC: Letitia, how did you get on the ship :D I have nothing against it, but explain it a bit :) As I said, it's impossible to enter it with magic, so how did you do it? :D Just interested.

Boarding the ship, Gabriel sighed under the heat of the sun.

The night spent was dreamless, and Gabriel did sleep sufficiently. Gripping his blade, he did glance over at the other mecenaries, some of them particularly rowdy,putting him on his guard. (After all, they reminded him of some of the encounters he had with others at the bar)

However, nothing rough occured. Sitting back in one of the rooms prepared, Gabriel laid on the bed, intending to sleep once again.

"Tsk, finally reaching Daguerro huh? I must remember to see Michel to pick up some better armoury though.." Gabriel muttered.
 
IC -

Chapter I - The World War I - The raise of Oeilbum.

( As you may guess, the war has started. The old boring and easy life is over and everything may happen. Now it's time to start choosing sides, as being in middle means more enemies then allies.)

Richard opened his eyes as he heard a machine like voice shouting from the speaker:

'' Everyone to battle position NOW! Mister Richard and Grand Mage Vivius please come to captain's deck.'' The voice was so loud and unexpected that Richard flinched up. His face got worried in a moment. He run next to his weapons and seated them.

'' Shit ... why so early.'' Richard growled so loudly that a man passing his cabin flinched as well. Richard pushed the door open and started rushing trough the corridors towards the captain deck. The corridors were filled with different kind of soldiers, everyone rushing and dealing with their personal things. Tho, they all seemed quite professionals. On his way up, Richard met Vivius.

'' You don't feel it right?'' Vivius asked while flash stepping towards the stairs. Richard denied. Vivius sighed loudly and told then:

'' Oeilbum has unleashed Bahamut. Tho, the aura may not make it's way inside this ship for you as this is magic protected.'' Vivius quickly continued flashing upstairs. Richard followed him as quick as possible.

'' What are you telling ... Bahamut no their side?'' He told with astonished voice. Unfortunately, Vivius had to nod. Then, the ship big bang and loud soundwave of explosion moved trough the corridor. Some screams were heard behind.

'' No time for them ...'' Richard muttered and continued running. Half a minute later, more and more bangs were heard. But the moment Richard made his way to captain deck, he stopped. It was shocking, he never thought to see something like that so soon. Slowly he walked towards captain who was giving his best. An officer of Alexandria run next to Richard.

'' Sire, I am sorry that we didn't inform you earlier, but we are heading towards Daguerro. '' The man told with loud and shaking voice. Richard's eyes got more widened and he stared outside. It was something unbelievable. Vivius already had jumped out to the outer deck. He raised his hands and started casting waves of protection magic. Soon, around 6 other mages joined him.

'' What is going on ...'' Richard told with a voice he never had used before. It was filled with emotions, with fear combined with astonishment but still had some power and calmness in it. The officer looked outside:

'' What you think ... Around 2 a.m we noticed around 50 warships moving straightly towards us. We barely managed to turn around and hide ourselves between different ships. After 2 minutes, we made sure that those are Eastern and Western Outer Continent warships. In a mere moment, we took contact and revealed our position. Then, the worse parts started. We were informed that Oeilbum had started a full power attack towards Daguerro, crushing everything in the Forbidden Continent that once belonged to them. By now, probably the forces are attacking Daguerro itself.'' The officer stopped for a moment to take deep breath as a huge explosion came from the front. Then he continued:

'' But that wasn't all, we were informed as well, that Ispen's forces had attacked Esto Gaza and also Condie Petie. Esto Gaza probably is giving Ispen huge headache, as getting trough their 300 ships is pretty darn hard. But the point is that Conde Petie was destroyed, not a single man left alive. Thanks to god, the head summoner of Madain Sari was able to push the armies out from Conde Petie with the help of Leviathan and few Archmages. In a hour, they put an army together and started heading towards the new force heading towards them.'' The man stopped again, as another huge explosion sound was heard. Richard gave a quick glance to outside and saw as a huge airship that had flied next to them, was gone. Destroyed by a laser beam sent out by another airship.

'' But why only 50 ships? I heard that East had more than 100.'' Richard quickly asked, but before he was answered, Vivius interrupted. He had made his way to inside.

'' Because more than half of their forces are fighting against Ispen forces in north- east. These here are Oeilbum airforces. Black Mages City wanted to aid Daguerro with those here, but they were soon informed that a force is heading to hear, so they took their speed down.'' Vivius told and smiled to the captain who walked towards them.

'' So, how is the magic barrier working?'' He asked. He seemed to be quite calm. Vivius answered quickly before he headed back to out.

'' Should be enough to avoid Bahamut and other warships. We can get trough here safely if you manage to dodge them.'' The captain feet revealed.

'' Yes ... that version of Vivius is the latest and probably the one with most truth in it. Anyway, I got to go now master Richard.'' The officer told, run next to his sword, took it and run outside. Richard started following him with his eyes.

The air was filled with explosions and death. Less than 40 warships one one side, shooting out thousands of cannonballs and missiles towards more than 70 warships together with hundreds of flying beasts. The hugest and most fearsome of them was Bahamut, the king of Summons. He dodged every missile heading towards him and took down warships with few bursts.

DAGUERRO - Request for aid!

Unofficial letter of Daguerro General to king of Alexandria.

The front-line what had been a serious warzone for 2 weeks by now, was finally quiet. Nothing and no-one were there. Unfortunately, this didn't mean the end of the conflict. By 11 p.m, the active conflict between the battalion of Michel together with Eophelia's squad against Oeilbum land forces, were encoutered by a huger force, around 10 000 men of Oeilbum. Somehow, for a hour, Daugerro managed to hold the line where it had been, but then, around 12 p.m, the airforce of Oeilbum joined the battle. In mere minutes, the army of Daguerro was not only pushed back, but it was raped, totally destroyed. Rumours tell, that not more than 200 men survived. Those few who managed to escape, got reinforcments in the sea region. The fortresses of Daguerro were filled with more than 5 battalion of men. Also, around 20 warships were there by that time. The forces of Oeilbum were pushed back until 2 a.m, but after that, everything went downhill. More than 20 000 soldiers joined the battle by foot on the side of Oeilbum. The airforce of enemies were followed up by 20 Ispen warships. Thank to god that the aid of Burcmeria made it's way to there in right time, as more than 50 warships were able to push Oeilbum forces back til 5 a.m, when Oeilbum launched another attack. This time, more devastating then ever before. Official reports tell, that from the 12 000 soldiers in the front together with total of 70 warships and 60 tanks, only 100 men survived. None of the machines made their way back. But their effort wasn't pointless, because in the time they waged war, Lindblum aid made it's way to there. Also, by that time, every citizen capable to carry a weapon is armed and ready to fight. Now, by 8 a.m, smaller battles are hold everywhere around the island of Daguerro.

RICHARD - Day as a warrior

Richard had run to outside and was now sitting behind a huge cannon together with three man. One was commanding officer of the airship, other was a muscular cannon cleaner and loader and the third one was the shooter.

'' Reload!'' The officer shouted. In a time of a eye blink, Richard had threw a cannonball to the hands of the loader. The huge man pushed the ball in to the cannon.

'' Ready to shoot!'' The man shouted after locking the opening and pushing a button.

'' Aim for Delta Crusader IV Prototype in 124; 40; 54 . Be ready to shoot in 10 seconds.'' The officer shouted. The shooter, or better said sniper, was ready to shoot. He didn't breath while moving the cannon softly towards the warship mentioned.

'' Shoot!'' A voice told. A huge bang was heard. Richard saw as the cannonball flew straightly towards the captain deck of the enemy ship. Half a second later the warship fell down.

'' Good job! Now, aim for 127; 50 ; 56 !'' The officer shouted. Meanwhile, Richard rolled another ball towards the loader who pushed the ball inside the cannon. It was a huge cannon, reminding a telescope. It was controlled by the levers the sniper used. The officer was using some kind of special binoculars to tell the coordinates. Richard nodded to the officer and headed towards the right wing cannons. He jumped inside the cannon hopper and helped to load the cannon there.
This one had 5 men inside it. A black mage, who seemed to enchant the cannonballs, an officer, a loader, a sniper and a spy, who was telling coordinates here.

'' 99 ; 51 ;40'' The small man with binoculars shouted. The officer repeated it and another huge bang came. Tho, a magical barrier destroyed the cannonball.

'' You there!'' The officer shouted while pointing to Richard.

'' Call master Vivius.'' Richard sighed and run out, towards Vivius who was casting barriers and invisibility spells around the ship.

'' Vivius, 2nd cannon needs your enchanting abilities. They are going to take down Oeilbum High officer airship.'' Richard shouted and raised his hands. This was somehow amazing, as big waves of enchanting like magic bursted away from Richard. It seemed as he was also able to cast huge barrier spells. The captain inside noticed it and started laughing:

'' If every damn ship had a couple like Richard and Vivius inside it.'' Then, the owner of ship walked next to the captain.

'' Anything I can do?'' He asked. Captain nodded and pointed to Tahomi.

'' Take her to 5th cannon, they are missing people. After that, go to engine room. Make sure we won't overheat as our speed is twice over normal. '' Captain told and continued watching how Richard casted some magic.

'' That's weird ... I thought Richard was a melee fighter.'' Tahomi told to his old teacher. The man sighed:

'' There is nothing you can be sure of when talking about Richard.''

OOC: Anyway, this ship will make it's way to Daguerro in my next post, so I hope to meet Sheera there. Gabriel, you will meet Michel in the airship port. He tells you that there is no time for getting equipment and will send you on a board of ship which will take you by the sea to the war front. Til Richard meets you, you have to work on board of the ship. Don't worry it won't be banged down. Besides that, I will start controlling the captain of ship myself. This ship will do great deeds :D BTW! It's your imagination what will you do in the ship. Only fact I will tell that it's a huge and new ship. It had total of 12 cannons and has a magical barrier around it. But the barrier will be able to block hits only once in every 5 minutes.

Finally, the ship docked at Daguerro.

Gabriel got up and left the ship quickly, going on to the airship port. Immediately, he began towards the place where Michel lived. However, he didn't seem to need to.

"Hey, Gabriel yes?" A man's voice called out.

Turning back, he realized it was an old man speaking to him. This old man was dressed ordinarily, just like many of the other people there.

"You're Gabriel, yes?" The man repeated.

Gabriel nodded, a curious look on his face.

As if in reply to that curious look, the man answered," I'm Michel. Richard sent me here."

Gabriel's eyes lit up immediately. After all, weapons from the legendary Richard would certainly mean good to him for sure. However, what he said next disappointed him greatly.

"Unfortunately, as to the new weapons and armour for you, it's impossible for now." Michel began.

"Why?" Gabriel muttered, startled by this reply.

Michel shook his head, grinning," Well, the war's started. And now, there's certainly no time for whatever change of dress. You'll have to get on that ship.." He pointed to a gigantic ship. ".. and serve Richard as mercenary, as probably agreed back at Alexandria."

Gabriel sighed aloud.

"Too bad pal. You'll have to leave now, that ships' moving off already." Michel continued, pushing Gabriel towards the big ship.

"Okay okay! I can walk myself!" Gabriel mumbled, walking along to the ship, boarding it. "Just my luck indeed!" He muttered aloud, frowning as he did so.
 
OOC: I won't post before Sheera will, as in my next post I intend to meet Sheera in Daguerro. Also, I will start controlling your commanding officer in the ship Prophet :D So be ready, he will be a really big bastard :)
 
prior to the raging battle, the red rose II had already docked at a small desolate dock at the quieter parts of Daggero, taking no chances Shera and Shenju had debarked from the ship prior to its docking and were underneath the docks making there way through the waist deep waters towards a small opening that would lead them to the backstreets of Daggero.

They spent the day silently stalking through the shadows, keeping an open eye and ear for any "marks" they make come across, strangley however it seemed quiet....too quiet....

Shera decided that this had the makings of an ambush and decided to hide near the main docks where Richards ship would be arriving to warn him of the possible ambush, afterall she couldnt see harm come to Tahomi who was escorting Richard and Vivius now could she?

Putting down his stuff in the designated room, he got out on the deck. His time wasn't very much wasted, it would seem. Immediately, someone caught sight of him and began assigning him duties, seemingly at random.

Cleaning the deck.. Cleaning the cannons... For the first time, he was exposed to a ridiculous amount of cleaning, and he certainly wasn't used to it.

Many times, he tried to wriggle out of it, but to no avail. Until finally someone noticed his stuff were still with him and led him to his room. However, more work awaited Gabriel as he walked back on the deck.

"Damn." He muttered under his breath as he saw the Commanding Officer walk by...

RICHARD - Safe escape
---------------------------------

The battle had been endless, the warships were smashing each-other, people were dying, beasts were screaming. Only Bahamut felt happy and powerful, bursting waves of death trough everyone and everything he spotted. It wasn't rare that even Oeilbum ships fell by the hands of Bahamut. But luckily, one hidden airship, were Richard was boarded, was going to get trough the warzone.

'' Richard, captain wishes to see you!'' An officer from before shouted as he was running towards him. Richard nodded and sent out last wave of invisibility magic. Then, he turned around and started walking towards the captain's deck. He took out a potion and drunk it. Some kind of blue participles shattered around him for a moment and new energy filled Richard's body. Then, he stepped over the doorway.

'' Richard, two minutes more and we are trough the warzone!'' The captain told. Richard smiled. He knew that it would happen, as there were fewer ships around already. He slowly walked towards a bench and sat down.

'' Do you know where is Tahomi?'' He asked. The captain smiled.

'' You mean the masked one? She is working near 5th cannon. But we can't abandoned the cannons before we are in Daguerro.'' Captain's voice was now even more releaved then it had been before. Finally, they had survived and left the warzone.

'' You know, we got a message from Esto Gaza.'' The owner of ship told as he walked towards Richard. His face was really dirty and his clothes were ruined. He noticed that Richard gave a glance on them so he quickly answered:

'' Machine room!'' Richard sighed and took another potion to drink.

'' What was it about?'' He asked then, quite slowly. It felt like he tried to delay the answer as much as possible, but fortunately, it was a good one.

'' They pushed the enemy back to Forbidden Continent and started counter attack to keep the enemy away. Tho, they sent around quarter to help Black Mages in N-E, so there is still a possibility that enemy will try again!'' The huge man told and sat down next to Richard. Richard sighed loudly.

'' They will ... But anyway, Captain, how long til Daguerro?'' He asked. Captain looked the clock and then answered.

'' Not too long ... a hour or two maybe. '' Richard's eyes reflected happiness. He stood up and walked towards the staircase.

'' I am going to help the engine guys.'' Then he left. The ship owned followed him.

Meantime, on the board of Sylphie!
------------------------------------------------

The commanding officer, a quite huge and old man was walking towards Gabriel. He was wearing normal officer's outfit and had a sword on his back.

'' You there! Go to the second cannon in right flank. We have spotted an enemy army there. And take brush with you, you will start cleaning the cannon after every shot!'' The officer told and turned around, totally ignoring everything that Gabriel might had to tell. The officer, called Nicholaus, walked towards the captain's deck and sat down. He took out his binoculars and started staring enemies vessels.

'' Why are you letting the mercenary do all the dirty work?'' A older man with civilian clothes asked. The officer smiled.

'' Richard's orders you know. It seems as he wants to teach the boy that the best jobs aren't always the most important ones. Anyway, I think those vessels won't attack us.'' The officer then told and took his coffee cup. After a minute of relaxing, he suddenly shouted:

'' WAT THE HACK!'' He saw as a missile headed out towards the enemy ships. It took the ship down, but the consequences were a lot worse. More than twenty ships turned around and started heading towards them. A second later, they started fire. Officer jumped up.

'' It's 2nd cannon right flank ... the one were Richard's mercenary is ... '' The older civilian told. The officer was in rage and started shouting:

'' Launch full retreat now! But get the freaking cannons ready, in a second. Be ready to shoot while escaping everything that moves!'' The voice was heard everywhere in the ship by the speakers. He then stood up and run towards second cannon. A moment later he was there, Markus had also made his way there a second later. A dead Oeilbum spy was lying down dead, together with the second cannons squad. The old civilian was also there, his blade unseated and covered with blood.

'' Oeilbum spy ... '' He muttered and started walking away. The officer told him to stop.

'' Get ready to enchant the cannon balls. And you, you are lucky today. Jump to the seat and get shooting those bastards. I will reload!'' He told and run next to a enchanted cannon ball. He threw it inside and punched a button. Then he gave quick glance to the enemy airships.

'' SHOOT 54,43 ! NOW!'' The officer shouted to Gabriel who still seemed to be busy with learning the way to use the cannon.

'' Freeking shoot!'' He shouted and a cannon ball flew out. Somehow, it did hit a ship following them.

'' Lucky you ...'' The officer sighed and reloaded the cannon very quickly.

'' 76, 45'' Officer shouted. Another bang, but this one missed.

'' You damn newb!'' The officer shouted. The older civilian who seemed to be busy with enchanting the cannon balls started laughing.

'' Not his fault ... the coordinates were 74, 43!'' The officer got even more angrier.

'' Get to reload then. I will deal with the enchanting then. You damn beginner!'' The older man muttered something and reloaded the cannon.

'' 65, 43 '' New bang, successful like the first had been.

'' Good job boy!'' The older man told and continued with telling the coordinates. But after 5 shots, a huge explosion was heard . Whole ship shaked and the officer left quickly.

'' We got hit ... 55, 55!'' The older man shouted. This one was able to stop a missile heading towards them.

RICHARD - Good Old Daguerro
----------------------------------------------------------

The ship had finally boarded.

'' Dear ground ... '' A man behind Richard and Vivius whispered. He quickly run away towards the cave. Richard slowly walked and then shouted, while pointing at a bush.

'' Come out Lotus!'' He saw as black lotus came next to him. Richard shaked his hands. A moment later, Tahomi run out from the ship. She seemed to be really tired, but emotions when seeing Sheera were bigger. She run next to the woman and gave a huge hug.

'' You Tahomi may get rest for now.'' Richard told and wanted to continue but the sound that airship made stopped him. He turned around and saw that the airship raised and headed towards the explosions spotted long away.

'' Now, we are going to my house!'' Richard told and started listening to Sheera. Vivius and Richard entered a horse taxi and told Sheera to follow.

'' Now, tell me what you wanted to tell!'' Richard told while the taxi started moving.

Letitia slipped into a room she sensed a large presence of energy emanating from. She noted a large blue crystal hovering in the air and touched it. Just then, all in her vision was consumed in a surge of white light.

Letitia strode briskly forward on the Oeblium ship, staggering as she felt the weakness of so long without life force tug at her body.
"Who is in charge here?" she demanded, injecting power into her voice. "I want to meet him at once!"
She stood there as technicians looked curiously at her, and smirked coldly at them.

The Evil Villain
----------------------------

''Captain ... captain, there is an intruder.'' A Oeilbum mechanic shouted to the captain, a quite noble looking one. He had white clothes and his skin was quite white. He was moving softly and gently, but the elegance spilling out from him made everyone to respect him.

'' If that is so ... '' He muttered and then was gone. The mechanic was left alone. Then, behind Letitia, a flash of light blinded everyone. Then, it got clear again. Captain was standing there, watching in to the eyes of Letitia.

'' A fellow magic user. How nice indeed. So, you wish to help us as I presume?'' The captain told and then flashed away. Letitia was brought with him. They were in a noble well decorated room.

'' We are in my cabin, but don't worry, this ship is safe. Now, you came from the ship of Vivius right? So, where is he heading?'' Captain asked before Letitia was able to answer a thing. It seemed as the man was using mind reading powers.

OOC: This white guy similar to Kuja will soon be one of the main villains, probably together with Letitia.

Shera watched Richard boarding the taxi, and was about to mention how quiet the Daggero town square was when she noticed an assassins blade rising up behind vivius at the other side of the taxi, and quickly reached inside her gi and skillfully threw the shuriken into the hand of the assassin clutching the blade...

"Get out of the Taxi NOW... AMBUSH! SHENJU, TAHOMI TO ARMS!!" Shera yelled out as she noticed more assassins and soldiers of the forbidden continent slink out of there hiding places with there weapons drawn.

Shenju took his place at Sheras side and Tahomi stood guard over Vivius despite how exhausted she had been from the naval combat that had just taken place, she knew she had a duty to fufil and she knew Vivius would be a main target.

Shera's vision darted from target to target when suddenly she recognised one of the soldiers, not an ordinary soldier....his helmet was adorned with a grand plume of cockratice feathers.....he was a general....and the man that struck the mortal blow against the general that had opened her eyes to the truth...

"YOU!!" she snapped clearly angered by his presence, before she could begin pursuit however, Tahomi saw this as an opportunity to prove herself to her mistress and charged the man without hestitation...

"Tahomi NO!!" Shera yelled...it was too late however, Tahomi had become locked in mortal combat with this powerful foe and Shera's words only fell on deaf ears.....
 
So far, since the action began, Gabriel had merely moved with the flow. It all came suddenly, his new post as some cannonman, or whatever its called, arrived upon him. Although he did fumble with the accuracy of the cannon at one point, he slowly perfected it well enough to bring down an enemy.

Though, it seems, the ship was hit somewhere, but thanks to the man's guidance, he successfully brought down an incoming missile.

Sighing, he continued under guidance and fired ceaselessly. His ears were starting to ring, a sign of ear damage, but it didn't frighten him much. What frightened him more was missing a shot.

The officier would be shouting into his ears, something as bad as having a cannon fire in front of him...

RICHARD - Old enemy

An ambush, that was something that Richard didn't hope to see, but it didn't surprise him a bit. In a mere jump, he was standing in front of 6 assassins who still were standing in their position. He quickly unseated his sword and slashed. A blocking sword was cut in to two pieces and the owner had lost his head.

'' Messing with meh?'' He told. The assassins recognized him, but Richard wasn't their target. They were here for Vivius. Then, something froze Richard.

'' EHh..'' He muttered and noticed a well known general of Oeilbum. His hat betrayed his rank and his gaze betrayed his identity.

'' Not him ...'' Richard thought while he was trying to break down the ice barrier around him. Luckily, he had time to break it down as no-one was trying to kill him.

VIVIUS - Dark Arts of Oeilbum

Vivius had noticed something unusual. Not the fact that it was quiet, but the fact he felt something. But something as great as his magic powers, blocked his magic. It was very abnormal. Then, an ambush. A blade trying to bring him down, but a fast shuriken stopped the assassin. Quickly, Vivius flashed outside. He was able to look around for a moment. Richard was already fighting and Tahomi together with Sheera as well. But, something was wrong. He pushed an assassin in to thousand pieces when it tried to attack him. Then, he fell to his knees. He touched the ground. After a moment, a barrier that had surrounded them all in the area of 100 meters, was gone. Vivius noticed Daguerro guards joining the battle. But while he had used his magic to destroy the barrier, another was near him. Tahomi was pulled in to it, together with Oeilbum general.

'' Damn ...'' Vivius muttered and raised his hands. Flame spears killed every single assassin near him. Then, the guards made their way there.

'' Break the barrier master Vivius!'' Michel shouted. He was now in his guard gear and seemed a lot younger than he had been when he met Gabriel.

'' It's Ancient Dark Art ... I am afraid I can't break that barrier down, not on the level that the user created it.'' Vivius told and then walked next to Sheera.

'' I am sorry, but your friend is going to die.'' Then, Vivius was gone. He had teleported away.

RICHARD - Old Enemy, too old?

Richard noticed the general locking him away from others and the moment it happened, he was free to move. Quickly he slashed down an assassin and wanted to take another, but Vivius magic was faster. He noticed Vivius leaving the field, so he quickly run next to Sheera.

'' Don't worry a bit, Tahomi can handle it.'' Richard told. Some why, Black Lotus seemed really shocked. One was telling her subordinate will die, one was telling she can handle it. Richard then walked next to the barrier and muttered something:

'' The great magic of Ancients, the world of Oeilbum secrets, let me in.'' These words were so loud that everyone heard it, even in 50 meter radius. Then the barrier started flashing. After few moments of flashing, Richard was inside the field. He saw Tahomi fighting for her life. The general was far more powerful then he. The moment general spotted Richard, he smiled.

'' I knew that Vivius is unable to use that kind of dark arts, but I never thought that they teached it to you in Ispen.'' Richard smiled back to the general and unseated his blade, once again.

'' Let me go and I won't touch the girl!'' General muttered and flashed behind Tahomi who wasn't able to react. Her life was now in the hands of Richard, as the general had pointed the blade next to the surface of her neck.

'' So, what do you think?'' He asked.

'' I think ... what do I think. I think that you chose wrong hostage.'' The moment he said that, Tahomi was gone. And now, Sheera was in the position of Tahomi, ready to fight.

'' Don't ask how we did it ... just fight!'' The voice of Vivius and Richard's told combined in the mind of Sheera.

OOC: Richard will spectate the fight :) So give your best against the general.
I thought that Tahomi is still too weak for facing a general.

On Board of Syplhie - Successful Battle

The old man was still telling the coordinates but the speed had decreased a lot. Finally, he sat down.

'' You did good job boy ... by the way, my name is Kuja Alexandros.'' Those were the last words told before the old man left. It seemed as Gabriel was quite shocked as the name, it was the name of Alexandrian king. And indeed, he was a bit similar to the king. But before he was able to think furthermore, the voice of Nicholaus, the mean officer came.

'' You there, you lazy bastard. Get cleaning. You messed this cannon totally up. Fix it after you clean it. And then clean it again.'' Officer shouted and then left. Indeed, Gabriel had injured the cannon a bit. Maybe the cannon wasn't used with so many shots in a row.

OOC: Gabriel, you got king of Alexandria on your board :D But until you meet him again, get cleaning and fixing :D

Shera adopted her stance and looked coldly into the generals eyes.

"Do you remember me?" She questioned.

"Not the slightest but you'll fall just the same whelp" The General sneered with a hint of cockiness

Shera removed her mask and let the magics within her flow, her eyes flashed yellow and she stared into the generals eyes menacingly..

"How about now? I'm here to avenge his death and take your life in exchange for the wrongdoings you have commited to the people of Oeilblum you bastard!" Shera yelled in rage as she teleported next to the general and butted him with the hilt of her katana.

the battle was extremely fast paced and ferocious, The General was an extremely tough opponent...ducking and weaving like an acrobat and swinging his sword like the hardiest of barbarians...

Shera kept trying to teleport after him but everytime he teleported away...Shera began to become corrupted with the overuse of magic and her eyes began to sink into the seething dark red brimstone that it did the day she slaughtered the knights of pluto that had been sent after her...

"What kind of trickery is this??....Ah! So your the half breed bitch black lotus, I should have killed you back then when I had the chance...well at least I'll kill someone close to you today!" The General sneered as suddenly Tahomi and Shenju were both teleported into the energy field, Shenju had been wounded during the battle and Tahomi was trying to tend to his wounds...

The general raised his sword and brought it down with a mighty crash....only Tahomi had managed to get her butterfly daggers in a cross block stopping the sword in its tracks from finishing off the wounded Shenju, who was semi-unconcious by this point, The General sneered and swatted the butterfly daggers from Tahomi's grip and raised his blade once more and brought it down with a downward swing.....

"TAHOOOMIIII!!!!" Shera screamed and teleported to her and teleported away from the general....but it was too late....the wound had been struck and Tahomi was mortally wounded...

"Mis...tress I...I'm s..oorry...f o..r everythi...." with those final words...Tahomi was dead.

Shera shook her and gazed at Tahomi's body in horror...it was happening again!! She flicked her gaze back at the generals....and she felt nothing but seething hatred for this man....she had already over-abused her magic...now the final ingredient fell into place to trigger her transformation had been added...pure hatred!

The ground shook and cracked and the skies overhead crackled with energy as a dark cloud began to envelope Shera, her features no longer recogniseable as the cloud dissipated leaving a black shadowy figure, with black shadowy wings and intense burning brimstone eyes...everyone present gazed in awe as Shera's true power came to form...

She gazed up at the General, and looked at the energy field and laughed loudly.

"Nice Little rat-cage spell you have here...BUT I PREFER MY PRAY TO HAVE A RUNNING START!!!!" with those words, Shera began uttering a black cantation that shattered the energy field and dragged those contained and those in the battle of Daggero, alive and dead into a Shadow dimension...

Purple energy clouds constantly crackled and tornado's blocked anyone that would dare interfere in there duel, the buildings were still present but more delapitated and crumbling....fires of molten lava spewed up from beneath cracks in the ground..

"Go on then coward....nows your chance...RUN KYHAHAHAHAHA!!! Shera mocked the general as she took to the skies and began blasting bolts of contained shadow energy at the general with concusive force!

RICHARD - The Dark World

Richard sat down, but his sword was still ready, ready to block any surprise attacks by general. But now, it seemed that the general won't target him, he had more fun and trouble with Shera than anyone would have predicted. But something was weird, abnormal. Waves of very dark and unstable energy were spilling out from Shera after every hit she did or blocked. Just in case, Richard raised. But that wasn't the best thing to do, because the moment he raised, general seemed to get more panicing. Next moment, Tahomi and Shenju were one the field. Richard wanted to step in, but he was too late. And then, dying Tahomi felling to the ground and Shera ... it was something unnatural, something really dark. Richard was frozen, unable to move. Even if he had lived for so long, he didn't knew a single thing about the event he saw. Something dark, really dark took over of Shera. And this one was strong, much stronger and meaner then Shera.

'' Damn ... '' Richard muttered and drunk a potion quickly. Softly he started flashing and glowing.

'' Just in case ...'' He then continued in his mind.
