I sorta agree, lately Square Enix has just been adding Sephiroth to some spin-offs. Kingdom Hearts, Itadaki.... I don't mind it though, I would want to see more villains make a come back. I'm glad Kuja will be in this game.

I'm also glad Kuja is in it, I always wanted to see him in action like in a bash em up game, and now that he has a voice it just gives so much more depth to the character.
I'm hoping they include at least two characters from each classic FF, since it will give those classic games much more recognition than they currently have now.

I must admit I've heard very little of this. I hope they can make it work tho. I think you can work out which characters wont make it hoewever, for example Wakka. I'm also surprised that they have included Sephiroth because to make it work would they not have to dumb him down? And thus would simply not be Sephiroth
Edea is more famous than Ultimecia, however, should anyone turn up from FFVIIIs villains, it would be Seifer.
I should imagine more characters would turn up though, they'll keep thinking "Oh, maybe if we just add her in..." and "Well...we have Aerith and Tifa so we need Yuffie too!" until it's packed with FF characters.
At least, that's what I'm hoping for. SE will want to make sure Dissidia appeals to everyone, everyone has a favourite character so....
And you can't really define the "main" character of FFVI anyway so Locke, Terra and Celes should be in it.

Zidane looks like a woman, Kuja's body has been elongated and his face has the same "HAI GUISE I R DISEASED" look that Sephiroth did in AC, and Locke has mascara and armor on (if that is Locke...I think it is).

I agree that he's got Sephy's diseased look, but I also agree that he is still sexy. However, they've made Kuja look good but they've screwed over Zidane. He looks like a twelve year old from Kingdom Hearts. That's bad. He's almost as old as Tidus or Squall, and they make him look like a preteen girl. *Le sigh* Oh well, there's a slim chance I'll even get the game.
New update:
- Tidus (FFX), Ultimecia (FFVIII) and Emperor (FFII) are playable
- The game features both free roaming 3D combats and one on one combats
- You can lock on to a character with L trigger
- There are two types of attacks, one to drain the "Brave" gauge, and another one to damage the opponent HP
- "Brave" is the strength of your attacks, the more you have the more damage your attacks will be
- The stages have pits and destructible objects, you can perform aerial maneuver near walls, like in FFVII Advent Children
- You can run on the walls and exchange blows with opponents
- You can choose two different combat modes: Standard and Technical
- It is probably possible to customize the characters, as you can earn Gils and APs after each fight.
