Wow. The graphics are just amazing in this game. I cannot wait til this comes out! The walk around system does look very much like Final Fantasy XII's. Also the last picture in the first link looks very much like a judge from FFXII also. The battle system looks like it'll be fun to use too :)
 
As impressive as the game looks, I'm not really excited for this one. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not fond when a game chances the battle system, and from what i've heard the recent FF's haven't been great. Meh...
 
Wow this looks pretty cool, awesome visual detail and now we know the name of yet another character. The battle system looks like a much more interesting version of XII's, something I am in favour of.
 
I like the "you stand there we stand here, we take turns attacking" battle system.
more better for me and many people.
I mean, why mess with something, if it works perfectly!?
 
Well, the walk-around system gives more freedom, and realism, if you asked me.

Its interesting to see such high detail here though, even though I was already expecting that from XIII. Nonetheless, however bad it might be, I'm still looking forward to it.

The battle system might not be appealing, but I'm sure it will be a big hit, no doubt. (Just a matter of whether the hit is 'Positive' or 'Negative'...)
 
I would love to see a battle system that combined turn based combat (like FF:Tactics) and a system like FFXII's for FFXIII. One where your character's would walk freely but would enter a gridlike battle map whenever an enemy was encountered on the field. It would actually be very similar to the first two Fallout games. If they could find a way to make the battle quick and entertaining, while still maintaining the player's involvement (like FFX-2) it would be a great system.
 
Why keep something for so long when it's pretty much been worn out in every way possible?

I'm sure there are plenty of games which have used FF's way of battling in years gone by.

Though the graphics look nice, they're not going to win me over with that piss poor imitation of a Judge Magister..
 
Lol.. That was supposed to be a judge of some sort? Now that i look at it again, I find that its a nice cross between Predator from Alien Vs Predator and an ordinary Judge...

Still hoping for the sort of Active Demensional Battles from XII though. I think it would be somewhat interesting anyway.
 
It does look a little like Judge Bergan, I guess. The main difference being that the fin is across his shoulders, not across the helmet. Besides, for all you know, that could have been Balthier or Reddas's Judge Magister armor design. They never showed either one of theirs.
 
Wow the graphics look superb. However dont you think the screen looks a tad cluttered with all the menu icons and that?
 
It actually does look that way a bit... but I doubt it's the final build. Besides, your eyes will probably be so focused on the action that I'm not really sure if the extra crap will affect the experience. It is a valid point though...
 
I think it's about time we see other characters in action. I'm bored of seeing Lightning all the time in these action shots.
 
way too reminiscent of Final Fantasy XII's battle system which scares me, I know it makes the game realistic and all that junk but at the cost of fun? Also since when do the words Fantasy and realism coexist :P Hopefully it is not like the FFXII system and is actually fun, if i have to wait another 3 years for a new FF game to come out so hopefully it will be fun i will be pissed

on the upside though the characters do look great and interesting
 
I think every ff game has its own feel. I mean honestly I love the turn-based battle system but ffXII had a quick "in and out" battle feel. Thats definitely that makes leveling alot less tedious and boring. Graphics look sick. If theres a midnight launch I will be in line for this one.
 
Does anyone think The Military girl In fInal fantasy xiii will be a playable character? She looks great and shes got a sniper rifle but how will a sniper be used in battle? Will she be like sniping from a far end. This is only if she is playable though. Overall to me She looks like a great character. When will we find out some villians?
 
Wow Aztec thanks for the freakin sick Images I just can not wait till this freakin game ughhhh. The summons look sick and so do the characters wow!!!

That was like one of my "dreams" for Final Fantasy series ya know :P
I personally loved FFXII's even though it's kinda hard to get use to it back again if you played a couple of oldstyle turned-based RPG's when you first left it.

And about the pictures: 1.000 -> :woot: would do it!
