Long Story Short, i accidentally deleted my save, i done this by attempting to delete some FIFA files and lost concentration thanks to msn and BOOM i deleted my XIII save, guess im starting this again. :holyshit:

That is Just FAIL dude. How did you manage that? Just be careful next time. You are gonna go somewhere where failures go. *kicks Abu into Failblog*

lack of concentration on my part ad well as a stupid friend saying "lol" to a previous comment, i suppose there is a good side to this, i can start the game again with knowledge so i can be stronger and have better weapons from the get go instead of learning how to do it in chapter 13

ahhhh that must suck for you! How far did you get into the game? I'd be so maaaaaaaaaad. Though, you should pay attention to what your doing :hmmm: (next time) just so you don't end up doing it again x] I mean, sure you have more knowlegde but think about how many hours you put into the game :gonk:

I'd cry x]

Yeah I was about to ask how far you were into the game. I used to tell people that if I ever had a fire in my house, the main things I would want saved were my Playstation memory cards that have all my FF files saved on them. Those are a lot of hours to put into a game to be deleted and gone forever with the click of a button or anything like that.

=0

Seriously if I had done that, I would not pick up the game for ages. >.< I'd just be so mad and kicking myself for doing it. >.<

Luckily I never have any distractions around me like MSN, internet or whatever when I'm playing games. There's the gaming room and then there's the computer room. >.<

But yeah, like others have said: Be careful next time. :gonk: I'd feel like it would have been such a waste. :gonk:

i was on chapter 13 orphans cradle THIS CLOSE to finishing the game and i delete it. i am the same, if there was a fire in my house my console and games would be the first things i would reach for.

That was really careless of you to have managed that. Still, it teaches you to be really careful next time. xD

But Kaylee is right. That's a lot of gameplay hours deleted seeing as though you reached
Orphan's
front door that close to the end of the game. I can imagine all that CP farming you'd have needed to do to get there.

Good luck with it the second time round! If it was me, I would probably sulk for a while and leave the game to collect dust like Kandy.

im already on chapter 4 and thats from starting again last night, im just speeding my way through at the minute trying t get to
Pulse
so i can grind CP and components.

Id be kicking myself dude. Sorry to hear that, tis sucks. Well, at least if you missed anything last time, you can get it now?

Wow that sux, I'd definitely never play the game ever again if I was that far and that happened lol. Well maybe not ever but it'd take years to get over. Sometime similar happened to me with FFX, I had finished the game and unlocked all the bonus stuff in the theatre and then a couple days later our home was broken into and all my game systems, peripherals, and games were stolen including Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Jaguar, 3DO, Gameboy Advance. I was so upset mainly over my save game loss especially FFX! This happened about 8 years ago. I never touched the game again until just this past weekend I fired it up in PCSX2 emulator on PC and started playing it again.

Now what I do is I subscribe to Carbonite online backup for my PC and I backup my saves to mem card and copy them over to PC which in turn gets backed up to Carbonite's servers online so I have double backups of everything now just in case.

oh well thats the way the cookie crumbles :elmo:

it's one of the reasons I'm wide awake when I get up and play video games. Have overwritten my file right before fighting Sephiroth once, (completing the game for the first time) so I could have a file where I could watch the Don pick Cloud over and over again.

i think i broke my playstation too, or maybe i just hit it really hard, i wuz mad :monster:

but oh well, for as dreadful as the gameplay is in FFXIII I think you'll probably soon be convincing yourself you're not missing anything :wacky:
