Im at the end of disc 3 about to face the monster boss thing before
Adel but my characters are only on like level 20.. how am i gona defeat her before i die?

I suggest leveling up some more. That's quite a low level for being at the end of Disc 3, to be quite honest...but hey, if you can defeat her at that level, then awesome!
 
Levels don't matter, i'd suggest using GFs to amp strength or magic, against Adel DO NOT USE GFs if you do odds are Rinoa will die. Make sure to keep Rinoa healed and use meltdown and limit breaks if you can.
 
Yhhhh lol but unluckily ive been relyin on Gfs throughout the game so i need to find a way to make squall have a more powerful attack
 
Like I said, amp strength and magic, try to make it possible to deal 1000 damage at least
 
Junction as much magic as possible to stats like your strength and HP and defense. Even at a low level you will be alright if you have a great arsenal of magic you've drawn throughout the game so you can pad your stats with it.

I completed the game at level 35, so I wasn't too far ahead of you level-wise when defeating Adel.
 
Levels on FFVIII don't matter too much as the Bosses/Enemies are at the level of your party. I suggest you cast Regen on Rinoa and heal when possible. Use Renzokuken and all the limit breaks, hopefully Renzokuken won't unleash its Limit Break and kill Rinoa in the process. If your having WAY too much trouble you can convert Hero/GF cards into super-items.

All you really need to do is get Squall's strength high. Then in battle cast Aura on him, and meltdown on Adel and then use Renzokuken/Lionheart until she dies.
If you don't have Lionheart, I suggest you get it.
 
Firstly you need the first edition of the weapons magazine, which if you missed out on getting it, can probably be bought in Esthar.
You need 4 Dragon Fangs which can be obtained from Blue Dragons, Admantine, which you can get by refining from the Brothers card, or by defeating an Admantoise, and 2 energy crystals so that you can refine some pulse ammo. I got the latter from Grendals.
 
If I remember correctly though, at that point you can't leave the pandora... So magic and power are the only reliable attacks, and certain character's limit breaks ie: Quistis
 
how do u refine minotaur card?
i dnt think i hav card mod

I found a movie on youtube. the dude explains how to get a million gil per minute. and how to refine items to boost hp, strength, vit,.. If i find the link again, I'll post it.

Please dont double post, use the edit button

If you dont have card mod, you need to teah quezacotl the ability card(or summat with the word card in it), then once you have learned that, Card Mod will apear - once THAT is learned you can refine all your cards - Be aware that once you refine rare cards - they are gone for good
