this is a PVP tournament that isn't for the feint hearted, any member can join and anyone could be the winner. battles to be held in any part of the world map that you choose, as long as both fighters can reach it [no clan specific area fights, even if it is a battle between two clan members]

the setup is as follows.
this shall be a knockout tournament, depending on the amount of contestants depends on the amount of rounds, there is a 1000 gil buyin to the tournament and the winner takes all.

the rules:
1. Spells are allowed
2. Maximum of three potions
3. must pay 1000 gil to me to be entered
4. fighters must arrange a battle with each other, and fighters must inform me of the outcome.
5. when entering a battle make sure you have deposited all gil into your bank, as to not give the winner of the battle any gil.

If you break any of the rules during the tournament you hall be disqualified, NO ACCEPTIONS!

if you want in, then post in this thread and make sure you have the gil to be given to me via a trade.

and good luck to the people who wish to join.
 
I just want to ask something, now if spell are allowed to use, isn't the warriors at a disadvantage there, since mages cure is strong compared to a warriors cure and no potions are allowed, I suggest having potion but a limited amount like 3 potions

and you split it up to Mages and warriors classes, Warriors are allowed to use 3 potions which heals around 200 HP <_< and the mages are allowed to use 2 potions which heals around 200 HP with NO MP recovery and 1 potion with MP recovery, at least something around that. <_<

Why should there be one set of rules for one class and one for another?
Except for the basic spells, our spells have about a 40% chance of missing, so we're at a disadvantage in that respect.
Either three potions of any kind or none at all.
 
Alright if we consider the spell miss chance then, it's 3 potions of any kind, because tbh Stephen it's not fun if it ended fast the battle <_<

Also, when will this tournament will be ocurring? Will the players decide the meeting time or will it be set by you?
 
Good question by the one and only Julius, whose last name seems to change from time to time, sometimes a total name change. XD

Anyways, sorry, that's off topic... >_>' Whenever it is, I would like to join, and I am curious of what the prize will be for the winner...guess it is the same as usual: The more participants, the better the prizes? :P

I am a Warrior that...can use more than just potions and weapons, so look out. XD
 
I would like to join as well, hopefully by the time this actually occurs, i will be somewhere around lvl 40
 
Ah, I talked with FMA on MSN, said he was going to cancel it, cba to host a tournament...guess I could've posted here saying that, since FMA didn't post, or update the first post to say that... <_<
 
I'm not suprised at all this failed. This wasn't very well set up either ways. The only way that would make this tournament at least, reasonable, was if a Director himself did it, with unique prizes set up for the winners. Unique Equips, Spells, etc.

The only two competitions who did work (even if they were half-dead) were the ones Refia and D'lain hosted. Which me and Blue Wolf won. :wacky:
 
Hmm, I guess I can organize another tournament soon then.
Closed since this ones been canceled.
