FFF: RP time!

As the other man asked where he came from his eyes narrowed alittle bit as he got reminded of how he randomly got here. He then smiled and shook away the narrow sad expression.

"To be fair I don't know. I was running from a bear when I stumbled over this staircase and there you were. Thou I must say that Tv that rammed into it saved my life."

Knowing it would not make much sence at all that this actually happened he felt like using it as some sort of joke to lighten up the mood. He always liked making people smile or just make himself smile.

"Oh! Are you wou--"

He then looked to his side and could see a woman standing there as if she had just noticed them. Not knowing if it was a trap or a legitimate ally was yet to be known, but Subeinu's good heart always got the better of him and waved at her. He then had a odd look on his face as he lowered his hand. He then laughed.

"If we get killed now, don't ask why I just did what I did."

His legs were still weak from the recent overexertion. As fit as he was, Ryu was just not made for sudden, extended burst of exercise. His hands scrabbled to the side until his fingertip scraped the cool surface of his katana. A wet sensation mingled with the metal, but Ryu didnt want to think about it. He knew what it was, but he chose to ignore it.

"To be fair I don't know. I was running from a bear when I stumbled over this staircase and there you were. Thou I must say that Tv that rammed into it saved my life."

Ugh....great. No lead. At least we know we aren't alone.....wait. Bear?

By now, with his katana cleaned of blood and back in its sheath, Ryu used it as a cane to stand. The recent revelation of bears sent him reeling. Wolves, as vicious as they were, weren't so bad. He could fend one off. A bear? Not a chance.

"Oh! Are you wou--"

The man's sudden break off from his sentence and suddenly waving turned Ryu around. Unbestknown to Subeinu, Ryu was exactly the same. He was just glad there was another human. In his sheltered upbringing, he forgot the environment he was in and thought that the woman could help.

"If we get killed now, don't ask why I just did what I did."

Huh? What? Why would we be killed.....? Oh......i see.... well, i can run anymore, so it makes no difference...i gues....

His stomach dropped at the sudden revelation of what could happen. He could not run. If she attacked, he was at her mercy. Suddenly more exhausted, Ryu dropped to his haunch and lazily copied Subeinu. She had seen them, so no use hiding. Ryu only hoped for the best.

Hey! Over here!

Seeing the guys hand calm, Daren was relaxed greatly. He relaxed even more when he explained the situation, but the part with the hand was rather...odd and he decided not to say anything about it, after all, he HAD just popped into some random city...Watching Orion's aura change as he went out to see out the door, Daren decided to do some back up. He set his guitar down and leaned it up against a wall. Keeping behind him, he heard Orion's awe when saying "What the hell is that" , but he could not see anything. With this, he looked out just in time to find that there was a bright flash coming from Orion's hands.

"uh...what the fuck!?" Daren let out. Orion had shot an arrow through his hands and then made a spear from light. This was not normal. And to top it off, he didn't seem very surprised he could do this. Hearing Orion shout for them to lend a hand, Daren stepped out and began to shoot. He was walking slightly sideways and shot his two that had remained inside the clip, and began to reload. He looked mainly at the gun and that was a mistake, because the plant monster had begun to swing at him. He looked up at last minute to see it, and got struck in the leg as he leaped upward. This leap though was odd, he could not see because he had his eyes closed...But he felt lighter than a feather, and he had not yet felt the ground. Opening his eyes, Daren was absolutely shocked to see that he had NOT landed after all. He was drifting as if there was no gravity. But he did not know how to make himself fall, as he also did not know it was him doing it.

His drifting lead him to a wall some ways back, where he kicked off and started to go slightly angled to the ground but mainly to the area he was before so he could help Orion again. What the fuck is this? Feels cool, but it ain't right...Does everyone else have this effect?

OOC: NO you do not have this effect...this is made to only effect me. And I held off the guitar one, it'll be my next.

"What the hell is that"

Kevin turned around to see what he called a 'Botany Project gone Wrong' coming in through the side. "Get behind me!" He told Daren before cocking his shotgun and getting ready to fire, but out of the light, he saw Orion fire an arrow and make a spear from light. Seconds later he saw Daren actually floating in mid air.

Kevin usually put up a more calm attitude, but the moment he saw these things happen, he finally said, "Ok....What...the....Fuck!"

Kevin did not believe what he saw, and for the next few moments struggled to put words together, before finally paying attention to Malboro swinging at him with the vine. Raising his hands to avoid getting hit in the head, he felt a cold sensation in his hands, as beams of ice came out and froze the Malboro's vine solid.

Looking at what he saw, he saw the Malboro in pain as his Vine was frozen. "Okay, that never happened to me before." He pulled out the shotgun and shot the frozen vine, shattering it completely.

Seth looked around and stopped, he thought he heard something so he listened, he couldn't hear anything so he started walking again, there the noise was again some kind of gurgling noise. Seth concentrated on making the muscles in his ears stringer so he could hear things more clearly, he clenched his teeth and a droplet of blood ran down the side of his face from his ears. Now he could hear everything not only could he hear a gurgling noise but he could hear a wheezing and shuffling noise from behind him and it was getting louder.

Seth whipped his head around, behind him was a huge man thing it stood around 10foot and was incredibly deformed it resembled a sewn together morbidly obese man it had huge meat cleavers in its hands and it had three other arms protruding from its stomach each with a huge meat hook in its hands.

"Shit" Seth yelled and started running as fast as possible. listening for any sign of life.

"Agh!" The creature struck at him with a vine, but Diarmuid ducked and lashed out with his knife, only to find he had left it behind. He rolled aside from another vine swipe and found his hands had sprung to life again, flame flickering. He touched a vine and it erupted in huge tongues of flame, the creature letting out a guttural roar as burns spread across its body.

Finding himself still alight, Diarmuid touched another vine, and another, and soon its entire body was alight. It ran from side to side, alight, as Diarmuid stepped back, grabbed his knife, and stood at the ready for another attack.

Where had this power come from? And more importantly, the instinct when and how to activate and use it. It had saved his life twice now. Standing straight, he watched the creature run around. Somehow the fire wasn't ctaching to the others or the station. It was unbelievable.

Azzie watched hesitantly as the unconscious man began to stir, and started trying to stand up. He and the man with the baton suddenly noticed her, and the man with the baton waved at her, then put his hand back down. Who were these people? Were they lost in this place too?

And how did she even get here? She still wasn't sure how the street around her had changed so quickly...

"Hey! Over here!"

The man who had been unconscious was calling to her. Curious, and resolving that she couldn't just sit there staring any longer, she finally decided to approach the two people. Not wanting to worry them, she got up slowly, keeping her sword low and pointed far away from either of them. She walked over to them hesitantly, until she was only a short distance away.

"Hello," she said nervously, stopping a few feet from them. "Are you guys okay?"

Ryu never realised it, but he had actually been holding his breath as the girl approached. Only when she asked if they were okay, that he let it out. It was a relief to know that she wasn't going to tear the pair apart.

"Hello, are you guys okay?"

Whew....yea....somehow managed to survive these....attacks. Um....if you don't mind me asking, do either of you live around here? Do you know where i am?

It was definitely not Japan. He had never seen such buildings before, so even if it was in Japan, he was nowhere near his home. As if all together, the recent events and realisation overwhelmed the teen and his knees collapsed again.

Ara...? Whoops. Seemss like im a bit worse for wear.

Subeinu stood up with a odd smile on his face. He brushed off his pants and shirt as if there would dirt or dust on them and looked down the stairs for a short moment. He then responded to the woman that had joined them.

"I'm fine. Alittle shooken up that's all."

Still managing to have a smile on his face after all the events that had already taken place from his arrival he looked at Ryu as he asked if anyone of us were from here. He sighed and looked troubled as it seemed that the other two were not from here aswell.

"Sorry to say, but I think we are in the same boat here. Oddly enough this place don't even look slightly like home."

Noticing that Ryu's knees failed on him Subeinu reached out his hand towards him and smiled.

"Need a hand?"

Sad to say, i think i need a week's sleep rather than a hand, but ill make do with what we have.

With an embarressed chuckle, Ryu took the offered hand and hoisted himself to his feet. It still wobbled, but this time, he had his sword to hold him up. Anything besides finding a safe haven mattered. If they stood here any longer, more beasts may follow.

In any case, discussion can come later. I don't want to stand here amongst bleeding corpses with bears roaming around. Let's head to somewhere more safe....um....

Ryu stopped short. Due to all the quick events, he forgot that he didnt even knwo these two's name. He couldnt keep calling them you or hey or um forever.

sorry i didn't catch your names. I'm Ryu.

The man with the baton smiled at Azzie, stood up, and brushed off his clothes.

"I'm fine. A little shooken up that's all."

As Azzie nodded, about to respond, the other man spoke up too.

"Whew....yea....somehow managed to survive these....attacks. Um....if you don't mind me asking, do either of you live around here? Do you know where I am?"

He was addressing both her and the other man. She was about to answer no to both questions when the first man spoke up.

"Sorry to say, but I think we are in the same boat here. Oddly enough this place don't even look slightly like home."

He offered a helping hand to the other man as his knees suddenly collapsed under him. The man seemed grateful for the assistance, and he used the katana, which seemed to belong to him, to prop himself up also.

"Sad to say, i think i need a week's sleep rather than a hand, but ill make do with what we have."

He seemed to be pretty steady on his feet now; Azzie had been about to help him also, but he didn't seem like he needed it now.

"In any case, discussion can come later. I don't want to stand here amongst bleeding corpses with bears roaming around. Let's head to somewhere more safe....um...."

He hesitated.

"Sorry i didn't catch your names. I'm Ryu."

Azzie nodded informally. "Azzie," she said tiredly, giving a slight wave to both men; she was still a little exhausted and dizzy from her run. "And I hate to say it, but I don't think bears and wolves are the only things out here either," she added grimly. She turned to face the man with the baton. "How about you? What's your name?"

"Azzie, And I hate to say it, but I don't think bears and wolves are the only things out here either,"

Worry creased Ryu's brow. Even with the extra company, the ghostly eerie aura of the place has not dissipated. In fact, from what he had heard from Azzie and the other guy, it further reinforced a sense of dread and a bit of fear. They were definitely nowhere near each person's respective home, or even probably their country. Whatever it was, cover was most definitely important. The higher off the ground, the better.

Well...even if none of us know the neighbourhood, did any of you two pass by a tall building that looks a bit more hospitable? If we get off the ground, i think it might be harder for these beast to attack. Anything Azzie...?....Mr....?

Ryu just realised that the man that had came to his aid was still unnamed.

Subeinu stood still listening to Ryu and the woman that was called Azzie. His grip on his gymnastic's baton released a bit as he felt safer with theese two people than earlier and felt like they could become a great team. When Ryu asked about if any of us passed a larger building of some sort, Subeinu shook his head.

"I'm sorry to say that I did not follow the enviorment too much. Thou I have a feeling if we go closer to the center of this place there might be more buildings."

He then slammed his palm against his face and had a weak laugh before he introduced himself.

"I'm so sorry. I'm Subeinu, but please call me Subbie."

From the look on Ryu's face, Azzie thought he seemed a little worried.

"Well...even if none of us know the neighbourhood, did any of you two pass by a tall building that looks a bit more hospitable? If we get off the ground, i think it might be harder for these beast to attack. Anything Azzie...?....Mr....?"

The other man answered him.

"I'm sorry to say that I did not follow the enviorment too much. Thou I have a feeling if we go closer to the center of this place there might be more buildings."

He then facepalmed, and laughed.

"I'm so sorry. I'm Subeinu, but please call me Subbie."

Azzie smiled, glad to know she wasn't alone in this. "Well, it's nice to meet both of you guys," she said. "I agree with finding a place to hide for a bit, but I'm not sure if there's anything close by. There are some taller buildings in another part of this city--I just came from a library that was pretty big--but I'm not sure how far away that is. I was running from something and all of a sudden the scenery kind of changed around me, and I ended up here." She glanced at their weapons, then down at her own, and then started looking around at the possible paths they could take, looking puzzled. "I don't know, I mean, we do at least have weapons. Do you guys just want to pick a path and start walking?"

OOC: Whoever posts next can take us where they want.

"I don't know, I mean, we do at least have weapons. Do you guys just want to pick a path and start walking?"

Well, thats our best bet then. No one knows the neighbourhood so the best thing to do is pick a path and walk.

Ryu smiled in a goofy happy-go-lucky fashion. There was no use in being down right now. After they were relatively safe, he would have time to ponder and think later on. His hands jammed into his hakama pockets and rummaged around until he fished out a 500 yen coin.

Head's we go in the direction Azzie here had come from, tails, we go with Subbie's. Both seem to have some form of danger so i guess they're both even.

With a flick of the wrist, Ryu watched intently as the coin soared high into the air, floated for a split second before diving back towards the concrete. It pinged loudly as it bounced, then begun to spin. In anticipation, Ryu's head drew closer to the coin as it slowly stop.

OOC: I actually flipped a coin to decide :D lol

IC:

"Well, thats our best bet then. No one knows the neighbourhood so the best thing to do is pick a path and walk."

Azzie watched as Ryu smiled and took a coin out of his pocket.

"Head's we go in the direction Azzie here had come from, tails, we go with Subbie's. Both seem to have some form of danger so i guess they're both even."

He flipped the coin, and watched as it bounced onto the ground. He bent down to see the results once it stopped, and Azzie did the same.

"Hmm. Tails," said Azzie curiously, and straightened back up again, feeling somewhat relieved. She didn't know what Subbie had been through, but she knew she sure didn't want to go back where she had come from. She turned to face Subbie, and smiled. "All right. We'll go the way you came, Subbie." She gave the path he'd come from a slightly hesitant glance, then took a deep breath and started walking towards it, hoping they'd find shelter sooner than later.

Short Post is Short. Lack of motivation and inspiration, but felt that a post was needed to be written.
---

As the coin was flipped he swallowed the saliva that had gathered within his mouth. He looked at the coin as if it was in slow-motion, slowly spinning in the air. The path they walked would be decided by the flip of a mere coin.

As it landed it showed tails. Sighing alittle before his signature smile crossed his face he looked at them both.

"I guess I will drag you both back to where I came from then."

He then started to walk down the stairs with great confidence in the coins choice and tilted his head back alittle to get a view of them both.

"I have to say thou that I did not get that close to the center, but it's sure enough buildings that are taller than theese there."

OOC: Since its Subbie's route, you'd be taking us there then.

Hehehe. Ah, placing our lives to something so whimsical as a toss of a coin.

Normally, something like this isn't good joke material, but Ryu couldn't help it. Tension felt a tad bit high and he would do anything to ease it up a bit. Azzie moved off first and Ryu tailed behind. Ever so slightly, his leg limped a bit. Maybe during the fight, he strained his leg or something, but he needed rest. He just hoped they met no trouble en route.

You coming? We need you to guide us a bit.

His classes over for this evening, Gavin walked back to his apartment, an uncharacteristically happy aura enveloping him. It was a Friday, not really something to break convention over, but for Gavin it meant the weekend was free for him and Raiiku. He found the door unlocked when he got home and upon opening it, Raiiku leaning against the wall, awaiting his arrival.

As he entered, Raiiku pushed off the wall and moved toward him. They stood almost face to face; a pulsing red passion could almost be seen flickering between them. Raiiku reached up, a finger drifting along Gavin’s jaw, stopping just under his chin. Gavin felt the slight pull of Raiiku’s finger as it pulled him in closer. He quickly shut and locked the door behind him just before Raiiku pressed his lips against Gavin’s.

Gavin’s eyes were closed for only a few seconds before Raiiku pulled away. When he opened them Raiiku was in the doorway to their bedroom, a playful glimmer in his eyes. He disappeared behind the wall. Gavin followed, knowing exactly what was coming next. As he entered the room he found himself spun around and on the bed with Raiiku on top of him.

“Enjoying it I see,” Gavin observed with anticipation in his voice.

“I see why you enjoy it so much,” Raiiku answered with a smile.

“I’ll be seme next time,” Gavin reminded lightly.

Raiiku leaned in and whispered, “I know. That’s why I’m going to make it a night you can’t forget.”

Before Gavin could say another word, Raiiku had locked his lips to Gavin’s. The rest of the night would never be able to be described in actual words. Despite their best attempts the closest they could get was a tempest of blacks, reds, blues and constant thunderbursts of pure white light.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The light hit Gavin’s eyes the next morning, a bright blinding light. Still half-asleep he rolled over and wrapped his arms around Raiiku. They lay naked beside each other, exhausted from the previous night. It was a few minutes later as he was trying to go back to sleep that he realized not only was their bed placed to keep the light from waking them up but that the drapes prevented much light from coming in. Something was amiss.

He sat bolt upright and looked around these now unfamiliar surroundings. Some things he knew were theirs: the bed, their dresser beside the bed, their bags and kicked off shoes lying at the foot of the bed.

‘What happened?’ he wondered.

Someone had taken them as they lay dreaming was the first explanation that he came up with. He reached under the pillows and found the two swords he kept under there for defense.

‘It can’t be someone, they wouldn’t have left my swords here.’

He got up and looked out the window. He was confronted with the empty streets of a city that looked nothing like where they had been.

From behind him two arms snaked around his body, one encircling just above his waist and the second sliding up his slim chest. He felt a breath on his ear and heard Raiiku’s voice:

“Hell of a night, wasn’t it?”

Gavin stifled a small gasp at the physical and mental intrusion before he answered.

“I hate to say it but last night isn’t as important as right now. This isn’t where we’re supposed to be,” he said as he pointed out the window.

Raiiku looked over Gavin’s shoulder into the barren city.

“That isn’t right.”

He disentangled himself from Gavin and looked around the room.

“And this isn’t our sanctuary! Where’s our stuff?!”

The howl of a wolf sounded in the distance.

“We’re not alone…” Gavin said, the despair creeping back into his voice.

“Well, we’re not going to just sit here. Something happened and we’re going to find out what. Get your stuff, we’re going out.”

They found their dresser to still be full of their clothes got dressed, their clothes from last night having disappeared with most of the rest of their belongings. Gavin found his usual assortment of clothes: black skinny jeans, black boxers, black band shirt, studded belts, fingerless gloves and his black converses on the bed. Raiiku found his choice a little more difficult without knowing what he was up against. He settled on a close fitting black sleeveless shirt and black jeans and the leather boots he usually wore. His shirt revealed the two black bands tattooed around his biceps. Pulling the metal shard necklace he always wore out from under his shirt, he looked over at Gavin as he was pulling on his gloves.

“You know, I never tell you just how good you look like that.”

“Thank you,” Gavin answered as he finished and got up. “See if there’s anything in the other rooms I’ll get my stuff ready in the meantime."

The apartment was laid out the same as theirs and Raiiku quickly found the kitchen and within several fresh fruits and some dry goods. In the meantime Gavin quickly applied his eyeliner and touched up his onyx nails from the gear he had in his bag. He grabbed his swords from under the pillows and slipped them through the loose second belt. As he gathered a change of clothes for the journey for himself and his partner, Raiiku came back with the food. They stood at the window throwing the fruit scraps outside. As Gavin finished he looked out through the buildings.

“I wonder where exactly we are…”

He went and sat on their bed, running his hand through his hair.

“If we’ll ever get back…and what if…we’re all alone?”

Raiiku looked into Gavin’s green eyes with compassion.

“If that’s how it is, then we’ll be alone together.”

Raiiku turned back to the window and finished his apple, throwing it off. As he watched it fall another movement caught his attention. He looked off at the far end of the street. He saw a figure running with a larger, more grotesque figure behind.

“Shit! Get your stuff! There are others here!”

Throwing the rest of the food in their bags, they raced down the three flights of stairs down to the ground floor just in time to meet the man.
“I’m Raiiku, this is Gavin,” Raiiku said, jerking a thumb at Gavin. “I need a boost…”

Gavin merely nodded in reply and drew his swords. He rushed the abomination, blades at the ready. The creature met his attack with its own, lashing out with all five of its weapons. He caught four of them on his swords but the fifth grazed him along his arm.

“Doesn’t matter…” he muttered as a few drops of blood dripped to the ground.

As he held his ground, Raiiku ran up behind him, grabbed his shoulders and flipped himself over his partner, smashing his heels into the beast’s face, sending it to the ground. Raiiku rode it the rest of the way down as Gavin took the opportunity to cross-slash the creature’s abdomen, cutting off one of its hands in the process. Raiiku jumped back beside Gavin and pulled out a pair of leather gloves from his bag; he knew the fight wasn’t over. As he put them on he called back to the stranger:

“If you’ve got the ability don’t just stand there. This thing’s down but it’s not dead yet.”

As if in answer the abomination grunted and started trying to heave itself back up.

"I guess I will drag you both back to where I came from then."

Subbie started to walk down the stairs he'd been on, and glanced at Azzie and Ryu.

"I have to say thou that I did not get that close to the center, but it's sure enough buildings that are taller than theese there."

A chill ran down Azzie's spine. She didn't want to go towards the center of the city; though she didn't want to admit it, she had a feeling that the library had been pretty close to it, judging from its size. She rubbed the back of her neck nervously as Ryu spoke up.

Hehehe. Ah, placing our lives to something so whimsical as a toss of a coin.

He started walking over to where Azzie was, then addressed Subbie again.

You coming? We need you to guide us a bit.

Though the others seemed to be trying to make light of the situation, it was beginning to occur to Azzie how screwed the three of them were. They had all somehow been dropped into this place, of which they knew nothing, without any provisions at all, and only a few weapons, all of which were intended mainly for close combat. She'd had dreams like this before, but at the edge of desperation she had always been able to wake up, without having to solve whatever crisis she'd been experiencing. Now, she had no grasp on the parameters. She didn't know if she was still on Earth, in the same time period, or even if she was alive. And she had no idea how the hell they were going to get out of there, or if it was even possible.

She glanced at Ryu and Subbie, her concern starting to show on her face. "Um," she began nervously, "I really don't mean to be pushy, but we should probably start moving. Not every enemy around here is going to reveal itself with a howl first, and--"

She froze, as in the distance, she heard a faint, lionlike roar.
