If those are your moves, than you calculated wrong. And Squall got legitimate characterization. Although we can easily debate the legitimacy of every character's personality and so on. So I don't see the point in saying Squall's a bad character when he's a lone wolf at the start of the game and refuses to socialize because he's afraid of getting his emotions hurt (something a lot of people seem to deal with in this day and age of the internet), as opposed to Terra who just keeps wondering what love is rather than focusing on the war at hand.

I could actually start a topic on this debate, but it would devolve into people getting angry and ranting back and forth simply because we all hold things at different values and doubt the other character's strength and passion regarding their own personal ordeals. "Oooh, Squall's an emo." "lulz, Terra's a dumb bitch."
