Who was you're favorite female character of Final Fantasy XII? There werent many female characters but there should be a poll I think, after all whats a Final Fantasy without its Heroines?

Sorry if this sort of thread isn't allowed, or has been made...Just though it'd be a Fun Poll, thread to have here.

Ashe
Fran
Penelo

thats a cool grimmjow siggy!!

I never liked a female character in the game, maybe fran cuz i think shes the strongest one in the group.

My favorite female in Final Fantasy XII is Princess Ashelia because she is beautiful and she is hot while she fights xD. I like her alot and I know alot of people hate her because they thinks she is a whore and all that. But yeah short skirts FTW or ummm short skirts in the cold isnt a godd idea xD. But overall I love her :awesome:

Fran Fer sure :D

Penelo and Ashe bothered me... Penelo was annoying and Ashe... idunno she wasn't as bad but she just seemed too serious to me :hmmm:

Fran was very interesting. Her design was different her voice and overall, she was just my main home girl xD

She was strong, quiet but she always knew what she was doing and she's very very smart :D

I liked Fran the best by far. She's tough, determined, intelligent, she looks great without acting like she knows it, and she has great taste in men :kinky:

I loved Ashelia. Some people said she was bratty or too harsh on other characters -- But I just thought she was a strong female lead.

I mean I am sure as hell glad this game didn't have any mary sues, I always find some complaints about how "Mary Sue" a girl was -- but complaining about how harsh a woman is? Especially when she lost her husband and is not quite over it?

I enjoyed Ashelia very much. And I loved her outfit <3

Thanks. :busta:

I actually liked Ashe XD I know she can be cold and difficult, but I warmed to her. Her character design was awesome and I liked her personality. Porbably match rofl. Fran is defo a close second as she seems the more controlled and mother like character of the group. Reminded me alot of Lulu.

Penelo, because she was the most useful to me. I used her throughout the entire story and she was a great healer for my party, as well as a good long range attacker. I did not like Fran due to the fact that I found her useless and Ashe was on par, not completely useless, but not better than Penelo in my opinion.

I'd say Fran. She is easily the most interesting female character out of the three. Penelo just seems rather shallow and frivolous to my liking. Along with Vaan, she serves little purpose to the story other than as an observer. Ashe's constant gasping and coldness to the others did irritate me at times. I know Vaan isn't my favourite character, but it wasn't very nice of her to say "Don't interrupt me" all the time to him.

The Viera designs are alright I suppose. Fran certainly does kick ass while looking good at the same time. On the Leviathan - she single handedly took down a bunch of Imperials while in a feral state. That was impressive. I also like Fran's backstory as well - I found her relationship with her people and her sisters rather touching. Also, she hangs around with Balthier - the most awesome thing you can do. Forget Han Solo - go for Balthier to be your partner in crime!

as far as story goes, ashe played her role well and she deviated from the stereotypical damsel-in-distress/main-character-extension archetype from the get-go. Fran comes second 'cause she's old-yet-hot and has both strength and wisdom, something that previous heroines also tend to lack (bar lulu). Also, she's already in a relationship (implied), yet another feat that most heroines don't accomplish until post-half.

Penelo. She was just really cool and unique. I just liked her attitude. Although, I didn't play the game very much, I still like her.

Plus she gets Vaan and I love that couple <3

I'm actually really having trouble making up my mind on this one.
I love Fran - She looks great. She hypnotizes me with her great outfit/looks and calm attitude.. But...
Ashe was another of my favourites, She is different and stands up for what she believes. while.. looking good at the same time! aha. I'm not sure.

UUUHHHUUhh.
My decision is...
FRAN! sorry everyone who likes Ashe.
I guess i find Fran more appealing then Ashe.
She is a Viera, What not to love? :)

Nells.

Ashe was just as annoying as Dagger, if not worse. Though her fighting and white magic were pretty damn good, so she gets points there.

Fran was almost completely useless to me. I could never find anything for her to do. So I made her the Freya of FFXII. Spears and under leveledness.

Nells was great. Easily my fave of the chicks. Her white magic was great, and her physical damage wasn't that bad either. Probably because I gave her axes as weapons. XD

My favourite female character was Fran, beyond a shadow of a doubt. I was confused at the beginning because looking around at the people in the world, she seemed to be the only one of her race walking around, which I found odd. I assumed that she had been ousted from her homeland for some reason, but once we got to her homeland then I understood. It also helped Fran's case that the scenes in that wood were some of the first to make an impression on me within the story. She was a very strong character, very calm, collected and a quiet source of wisdom for the rest of the group, as well as being like some kind of mother figure in some way. She reminded me very much of Lulu and Auron, who were two of my favourite characters from 10. Also, because she spoke so little, I often hung on her every word that she did say - I just loved to listen to her talk, honestly :) And and Fleur mentioned, she hangs around with Balthier and that just gives her instant points above the others.

Ashe was way too tough and she was very patronising towards Vaan. Obviously she had a very clear, intimidating goal in front of her, and needed to focus to get achieve it, but I think I only saw her smile twice in the whole game, which is a little too much. Penelo, like Vaan, I saw very little point to. She was just a kid along for the ride and I didn't like her half as much as I liked Fran.
