((OOC: So there, here's my post. Could someone please approach Eluniel? Otherwise, her severe case of introversion is going to keep her stuck there all day. ))
Thanking the lady once again with a timid voice, Eluniel bowed slightly before turning to face the massive structure that was Eureka Academy. "Have fun, girl!"
Eluniel couldn't help but smile slightly at these words from the lady. There was much gratitude the girl felt towards that lady, and it was highly regrettable that she could do little to repay the lady at this point in time.
Not only did the lady give her a free ride, she had also entertained the girl throughout the journey with her random chatter about everything under the sun. Even the cloak that Eluniel owned was a gift from the lady.
"And talk more!"
Those were the last words she heard before the lady before she disappeared into the forest with her wagon. Indeed, Eluniel needed to speak up more. Throughout her life, she had never really gotten to speak.
Back in the orphanage, she was raised with children that promptly cut her off the moment she opened her mouth to speak. "SHUT UP!"
Those words seemed almost like someone was shouting it right next to her. Feeling a chill run down her spine, she pulled her hood lower to cover her face as she started towards the Academy.
The Academy’s Great Hall itself was rather crowded, and bustling with life. All around, there were students donning their different-colored blazers that indicated their sects. Eluniel, however, felt her pulse racing. It wasn’t just a chill anymore. The cold hand of fear now gripped her heart. It almost felt like she was dying as she walked.
That was how fearful she was of people. Gritting her teeth, she bore with this fear. Her legs felt like it was going to buckle, but she held firm. Every conversation in the surrounding sounded like it was referring to her.
“Hey! Isn’t that the Child of Catastrophe?”
“Ha! It’s that parent-killer!”
“Stay away from her. She may just kill you!”
Eluniel almost broke into a sprint at that point. However, she managed to exert a strong enough control to make for a quiet corner in the Great Hall. She didn’t know her way around, and she certainly didn’t have the courage to approach anyone. Trapped in this predicament, she grips both hands tightly as she waited for someone to help her.
