Funny, I see very few others use three periods so much as I do...so would this help classify me as being more unique?

My main character; Crimson Wolf, the one character that, I admit, has it's similarities to myself, does require usage of consecutive periods, as he has some pauses in speech.

While he doesn't talk fast, it isn't particularly slow either, just calm, and relaxed. The words are easy to follow, hardly like an auctioneer... :lew:

Had fun making my latest RP post, but it took me too long... The three periods is characteristic of me as I often require time for thought in speech...

They're called ellipsis. They can also be referred to as a "suspension point". They are used to indicate an intentional omission of a word. Or they can be used to indicate a pause in speech, a pause in thought, or at the end of a sentence, a trailing off into silence.

It doesn't make you more unique than anyone else. For everyone is unique in writing in their own little ways. No two people's writing styles are exactly the same.

Right, it's just my style I guess, maybe I should try to use this 'ellipsis' a little less, though? :hmmm: At any rate, I guess it isn't too annoying either way right? Mainly my whining now and then is annoying. :gasp:
 
It's not annoying. Most of the time I don't even notice. Unless you were doing it DarkShadow style and using them like this, "Hi...................... My name is........................ Darkshadow."

That would be annoying. As for you throwing in ellipsis now and then, it's fine.

EDIT: Also, I'm serious, he does post that way. It's fucking annoying. :hmph:

But yeah, it would get annoying, that many dots really breaks up the sentence and makes reading it annoying. >_> Ah well, that's just him I guess, others just don't happen to be too crazy about it. <.<
 
Let's just be thankful he's not an RPer... Or that would be the most annoying RPer of all fraking time. Just imagine having to read an entire post of, "..............................................................................................................................................................................Hi".

Holy shit... I would blow my brains out. :ffs:

But yes, let's be thankful he isn't an RPer, and in this RP... :gasp:
 
Well i do the ... thing alot but mainly on MSN i don't normally find myself doing it on fora... (not intentionally there) And CW you're unique, just like EVERYBODY ELSE:)
although your less alike then most people on the grounds that i havent found a box to shove you in like say "emo" or another keyword...

Actually, I would really like to see the contents of that box. I've only shoved a couple of people in the box I made. :hmmm:

Of course, my box was labeled, "redundant". :mokken:

Anyway. I'll hopefully not be leaving my next post so long next time. :ffs: Depends on my inspiration for writing which is preeeeeeetty low at the moment. :sad:
 
But my label isn't a typical label. Whereas other people would call someone, "emo", or "prep" or something like that. I label people for other things. Such as usefulness, uselessness, and things like that.

My labels are superior. :mokken:

In other non "............." news. If there are missions going on at the moment, how is everyone supposed to drop their missions and just show up to the meeting? Raistlin doesn't have a mission until later, but I think everyone else is currently on one. Do they just... Leave?
