Tardy Policy

Here at Eureka Academy we do not accept tardiness. A student who has been inactive for a week unexcused is considered tardy and is given a tardy slip. If a student earns 3 tardy slips in two months they will be expelled…Word of advice: COME TO SKOOL!

Missions with red are assigned by the school. Each week a student will be assigned a mission to go on. Missions in green must be signed up for in this thread. A number of the maximum students who can participate on a mission is right beside participants. Missions will be opened or closed depending on who has signed up for them. There will be a total of seven missions posted up at all times. When one is finished it will be replaced.

The mission board Is used to put up missions you can request a mission by posting in this thread. Missions range from aquiring a certain item or exploring temples far off. A majority of the missions will include fighting a monster of sorts as Eureka island along with other places in the world get infested with monsters. Each mission can increase your rank depending on your actions. The more rank a mission gives, the harder the mission will be!

RANKING SYSTEM
The rank system works in such a great title and it includes titles you can earn. Rank can be earned by moves in a battle and completeing missions. Rank shows other students how powerful you are and it grants you acces to certain items and privileges in the school. Unlockables can be seen at the bottom of the page. Titles you can earn are shown below.
Strigon Leaders List of titles:
Ranking System:
Level: 1-15: Rat
Level: 16-30: Rabbit
Level: 31-45: Pig
Level: 46-60: Dog
Level: 61-75: Ram
Level: 76-90: Horse
Level: 91-105: Snake
Level: 106-120: Ox
Level: 121-135: Tiger
Level: 136-150: Dragon

With each title earned there are badges to go along with them. Earn the badges and increase rank to become the ultimate student. In Eureka Academy!

Student Council: This is the highest of the student ranks. They are the strongest of the strong here at the academy. They rank the highest of the students and supervise over the student body. There is one student council representative from each sect of the school.(I’m guessing there should be a limited amount of student council members so as to have some actual students!)

Disciplinary Committee: These students are ranked as the second highest. They enforce the rules at school and make sure to keep all rules fair in battle. They supervise battles and keep bad students in check…

Student Ranks: These ranks belong to actual students. They increase with time and with each increase an upgrade in abilities can be had! They way you can increase your rank points through battle, through completing mission objectives, and through judgment and conduct.

With each increase in rank comes an increase in the player’s ability. Rank changes will be updated weekly under the student ID cards. After a month of raising rank a new student ID card will be given with updated rank on it. Rank can also be deducted if a student does not act properly and misbehaves.

This is basically an open RP. You can do what you want, fight what you want, go where you want, the works! Students at the academy can make clubs, hang out with friends, date, party, and kick major butt.

Sects:
There are three different sects in the school:

Blue sect-these students normally wear blue blazers and represent the beginners in the academy. They are still learning their way around battles and have quite a lot to learn about.

Red Sect- these students wear red blazers and are a little more experienced than the blue sect. They are tough in battle and have a large set of skills. They have proven their talent and have shown that they are tough in battle.

Black Sect- these are the most experienced students in the school. They proudly wear their black blazers as a sign of their brutality in battle. They have the highest of all ranks and are forces to be reckoned with. Not many of them are seen around school.

White Sect-these are the Student council members. They wear white and are the most powerful students at the school. There are one of these from each sect making it a total of 4 students.

Disciplinary committee: This is a popular group among the school as the students are allowed to keep their class in check. They are still students in training however and only serve to keep order among their peers.

Note: Disciplinary students wear the same color of their sect. Their colors do not change no matter how high their level gets. They may change their color if they decide to give up their position as a member of the disciplinary division.

The school:
The school is vast and there are many opportunities students will get to try. There are many sects within the academy:

The Great Hall: This is where students like to gather, talk, and hang out. It serves as the entrance and exit to the school so a lot happens here. Can’t find a friend? Try waiting at the Great Hall!

The Library: The library holds vast knowledge and information about almost any and everything. Books line the shelves in this tunnel of knowledge!

The Shop: The Shop is a student run store where supplies are sold to students for battle. Items such as weapons, potions, and clothing/armor can be bought here. The inventory of the store grows with your increase of Rank!

Cafeteria: A place where all food is served. Students come here to get a quick meal or to play games. This is quite a lax area.

Arena: the arena is the place of action for the school! Student’s gather to view the daily battles there. Students can reserve the arena for battles and challenges for each other. Sometimes even school tournaments.

Auditorium: Students gather in the auditorium to watch a play or to hang out. This is a place buzzing with life. Anything from important announcements to musical acts are seen here.

Courtyard: The courtyard is a place for students to relax and talk. Mostly couples come here for a romantic retreat.

Training center: The training center lies on the basement floor of the school. It takes up a lot of space and is wide and open. Anything you could possibly need, from fitness equipment to dummies, to computer generated cpus(To fight with) can be found here. This is a great place to raise rank.

Parking lot: When a student reaches a certain rank, they are given a vehicle in which they can drive to other destinations. When given a vehicle you can park it here. It’s okay to drive other students around but mostly students won’t be leaving the campus anyway…

Infirmary: A place to go when you’re not feeling so well. The nurses and doctors at the infirmaries will have you feeling good as new in a jiffy!

Dormitories: The dorms are located on the second floor of the school. The different sects of the dorms are split up into groups: Melee warriors, Magic wielders, and other. Examples of the category of “other” would be a warrior who can also use magic or anything without a specific classification. The dorms are separated by gender and usually bunk about 4 to a room.

Classrooms: Students can enter a classroom on the second floor to learn new skills and tips. Usually there might be certain lessons taught in a class. If you use these skills taught and learned you will become a better warrior and may even get a boost in rank!

The Town:
Eureka town is small but it has a lot of activities planned! Sadly though only experienced students get to hang out here. The newer students are not permitted unless they are with an older student. New students are encouraged to get used to the academy before attempting to explore the town on their own. Only students with a rank of 20 and over may leave the school. Some of the stores require a certain level of rank in order for you to shop there.

Beach: The beach along the coast of the island is a beautiful place to have fun. It can also be a romantic scene as well. The beach is very fun in the summer and often there are a lot of parties held here.

Park: The park is a nice and quiet place littered with trees and greenery everywhere. It contains benches and a huge fountain in the center. It’s a very relaxing environment…

Eureka Square: The town square is full of bustling people. Here you can just sit back and watch the townspeople go about their daily business and enjoy a snack from the many of the food establishments.

Club Panda: A local woman named Mandi runs this club. It is a nice place to mingle and party when there’s nothing else to do. (must be 18 to drink alcohol. No smoking permitted…)

Pet store: Yes, a pet store! You are allowed to keep pets in your dorm, but only if you clean up after them! All kinds of pets can be bought from here! From dogs to Goldfish to baby dragons they have it all! (Must have +20 rank)

Vehicle store: The vehicle store sells cars, trucks, vans, and certain special vehicles for your liking. (Must have +30 rank)

This is rather interesting... It reminds me of a story that I wrote but never finished. However, the school was set on top of a massive floating island type thing. Count me in. :D I'll write up my bio sometime in the next couple of days.

However, some questions:

1)Can I be Black Sect?
2)While on the Disciplinary Committee?
3)I take it that students can learn magic and combat here? (Obvious, I know, but just making sure. O_O)
4)What all needs to be included in the bio?

Edit: Also, this is a very good idea for an RP. However, it can become rather huge depending on who all joins. It could potentially need its own forum at some point. If it gets big enough to the point where a single thread gets confusing. :hmmm:

Yes Ringo! It's in the signup thread! This handbook is just for info and what not! :P The link to the signup thread is at the top! I edited it in there! And yes you can be both of those things! Students do learn magic/combat here! XD the rp was originally gonna be called "fight school"

You put the Escort Wagon mission up four times....

Anyways, I'll go on the Escort Wagon one as the Student Council member for it. That ok with you?

Sign Athena up for Free the Beach and to lead Fountain Nest Clear

Sign Alan up for Escort Wagon and Scholarly Desire.

Sign Greg up to mission one. Will this be put in the actual acadamy? Where will the mission happen?

@Olivier My room mates, can you tell them i've posted my entrance into the room? I don't know their usernames.

Hmmm a TEACHER as a participant under the command of a STUDENT, that is surely a novel concept;P but i'll role with it:) i'm new in school and all:)

Sign me up for Mission 4: Scholarly Desire. I'm good with forests, it should go just fine, I can help with the protecting, not so good for the carrying of stuff though (paws). xD

just roll it in some plastic wrapping to avoid slobbering on the object and don't bite down to hard:P you'll be fine:) or figure out some kind of backpack arrangement...

He has spent a lot of time in a forest environment throughout his life, so he is quite comfortable in such a place, but I guess what you said could be done, don't think it is likely though, would be handier for others to carry the stuff, unless there is so much stuff everyone has to take at least something. :P
