Birth By Sleep is a prequel to the original PS2 title which was released back in 2002. In addition to bringing new characters and environments to the series, the title also features three new battle systems and four different multiplayer modes. Birth by Sleep is due for release on September 10 for Sony PSP.

The hell is up with Aqua's voice actress? :mokken: Damn the dubs, damn them to hell. I was going to like Aqua a lot but that voice :gasp: And Terra...his voice...oh gawd.

Still want the game though.
 
Ugh....I am really not a fan of Aqua's voice either. Is that the best voice actress they find for her? I seriously thought a male character was speaking at first as well.

As ever, it looks awesome visually. Unfortunately this looks like a game I won't be touching until I can lay my hands on a PSP that is actually working.

I don't mind Aqua's voice acting, I think the potential is there, I'll have to judge her when there is an emotional moment in the game and see how she fairs up there. :hmmm:

Yup, I was confused and shocked. Also, Leonard Nimoy plays Master Xehanort. xD
 
Well I know Spock is Xeanhort and Luke Skywalker/Fire Lord Ozai/The Joker is Master Eraqus, but if Terra is the Batman, then holy poop on a stick....
 
lol, I think this is finally the game where I'll recognize most of the names in the credits ;D

For Aqua's voice, it's not that bad. A little too thick for my liking, but to be honest, Xehanort's voice is the one that's not doing it for me :/

But watching the trailer reminds me of other things I had wondered about story-wise, so yeah, still as eager as ever for this game ^_^

Voice acting is absolute shit, but I expected that from a recent SE game tbh. I'll buy it for the story and gameplay, at least that makes me still want the game :hmmm:
 
Voice acting is ok. Aqua sounds like she has a mouth full of marshmallows and Xehanort sounds a bit like... Yoda?

Are they recycling "Simple and Clean" for the Main theme?
 
Xehanort's voice is already growing on me, though I might have difficulty understanding everything he says straight away; it's pretty deep/croaky. His little speech at the end about the war gave me a slight shiver!

Other VAs seem fine so far, but that can only be fairly judged once we get more content to rate them by. Additionally, I'm really keen to see more of the new systems. Combat looks pretty nice too, even if it is just visual orgasms so far to me.

Okay, sorry, but I have to disagree with this sentiment. There aren't that many voiced FF games, and honestly, I can't say I hated any of them. There was decent effort put into voicing the games :mokken:

That's what they've been doing since KH2. Utada Hikaru unfortunately left the series so new songs haven't been done for the games since Passion/Sanctuary.

I'm hoping for a new song in KH3 though >.<
