Help Dark Aeons

nemesis :rage: i just need monsters from Omega and Inside Sin to complete the set and also, if you ahve cactaur king in the monster arena, you can gain ALOT of exp just foolo these steps.

have a weapom with abilties: Overdrive ----> AP, Double or Triple Overdrive and Double or Triple AP.

change the party you want to level up, overdrives to comrade

now have armor abilities such as auto phoenix

buy 99 phoenix downs

now battle cactuar king and just hammer triangle, let him attack you repeatedly and repeatedly till you run out of phoeinx downs or the cactuar runs off.

the watch the AP roll in :monster:

Just though I'd like to say i killed that prick dark yojimbo 4 times in a row using zanamato and on the 5th time last one I FAILED!!!!! :rage:

got it by fluke as well I think.........

losing a lot of gil as well by paying him around 5000-7000 gil everytime as I've been now training him to do zanamato in the omega ruins by playing normal enemies..........
 
yeah but you get repeated drops from him which sell for a higher price plus the ability to farm dark matter from him which is a bitch to get loads of
 
If you save after beating him 4 times and load you'll have to do all 5 fights again. It's a good way of farming rare items if you're not paying extortionate fees to beat him.

I've never actually beaten any dark aeons :hmmm:
Might try Dark Valefor later, try and beat her with Yojimbo :britt:
I've only used Yojimbo once on this playthrough, paid him 20k and he used Zanmato first time :awesome:
Hopefully he'll do the same again...
 
I pay my Yojimbo 100k every time since i have like 3 mill in money on a average bases, I always sell my junk etc...

It took me so long to defeat Yojimbo but I did it :D penance was summoned but I still need more luck etc... all stats 255 is not enough, your luck must be at least 140 also..

I googled several times to find out how to get those luck spheres..

Fortune spheres: Eartheater
Luck spheres: Greater Sphere

Defeat those monsters at the battle arena, I believe they are both unique created fiends. forgot exactly..

My ps2 is very old so I could not play properly anymore so I just skipped doing more luck spheres and trying for penance.
I beated all the DA's with Zanmato, so I really wanted to try on Penance with real skillz but why bother...I put 200 hours in that game already litterally lolz..

Im not sure, I do know with LUCK you get less damage from enemies..
also the ultimate weapons is a must, no matter the Break Damage Limit other weapons dont do max 999,999 damage and the ultimate weapons do always... bummer though cuz I have some other awesome weapons as well...

Also LUCK you will always hit the enemy/fiend
without luck at least 140 the fiend will always evade your attacks.
 
The determining factor is the relationship value between Yojimbo and the party. It depends on the dialogue whilst recruiting him, the amount of times he's used zanmato, etc. You can build this and when at maximum you've got a good chance of zanmatoing anything.

yes I used Yojimbo for every dark aeon myself as well however I killed DarkYojimbo like 3-4 times but at the last part my Yojimbo always screws up, he uses wakasashi on his own, which means he gets killed before going zanmato

I have got a few ultimate weapons for Tidus,Auron,Wakka I think.............but once I look at the HP of the dark aeons I think str8 fuck that!I aynt wastin no time when I can finish the job off in 1 move............just using yojimbo to kill that thing

I did zanamato a few things but I'm losing bare money..........and summoning him all the time.

and if it depends on what harl said then damn.........think I wasn't nice to him...........and payed for him less than the asking price damn......... :sad3:
 
oops, I payed him the most money and ended up broke but it was worth it every penny.

fel ya..........but what pissed me off more was the fact you had to kill him 5 times again even if you save it after killing him........... :sad3: I killed him 4 times a few hours ago as well.
