They're testing the damn fire alarms right now, and I can't concentrate! I keep feeling like I have to sprint out the door and away from the fire. and I have a research paper to write, so I don't want to have to do that!

If you don't hear from me, I may have burned up. because I didn't believe the alarm. XD

Fire alarms are shit, they always have one on a Tuesday morning when I'm sitting in college trying to do some work at like 8:20am. I've never known something more annoying and they go on for ages and I'm always tired to hell when they go off. Nobs.

I hate fire alarm drills, I think that they're kinda pointless. We've only had one since I started college, and that was during one of my free lessons, and not like, during English Literature. Lame.

At secondary school the fire alarms would ALWAYS go off when a teacher was at a critical stage of explaining coursework - especially during Geography. I hated them so much

They used to that every thursday at the block of flats where i used to live. It was ridiculously loud and they went off quite requently even when there wasnt testing. I remember bein waken up at 4 am with work at 6 having to exit the building because the fire alarm was goin off. I think after a while people stopped evacuating cuz they knew it was false, which is pretty dodgy considering it could have been real one day.
