My friends used to go on about how good the first one was and the first time I saw the trailer for the second one (before the PS3 came out) I thought it looked like the best thing ever. But despite this I've haven't played either of the killzone games/watched anyone play them.

Maybe I'll give the third one a try. Is it out yet?
 
Killzone 2 wasn't awesome. Killzone 2 wasn't as good as either MW. I'm sure there are better games to get than Killzone 3.
 
There's nothing shit about it. It has no story, but the gameplay is so much better than Killzone's.
 
If it has no story then the single player is shit. And the multiplayer is basically the same as MW, just with no long-term appeal. :wacky:
 
FPSs aren't about the story, Killzone 2 doesn't really have one either. It has long term appeal too, it came out half a year ago and it still, probably, has the most online players.
 
Modern warfare 2 is shit. You see your body so many times on the floor and then they expect you to get level 70 10 times more in prestige. Oh gawd that makes me sick. Also Kira im still not sure. tell Me what is a good reason to get it. And dont say you can pla with me as the reason :gasp:

Killzone 2 was a massive improvement from the first whereas MW2 is virtually a carbon copy of MW apart from the odd tweak here and there. Plus MW2 sold on hype as a multiplatform title, KZ2 did neither of the two and relied solely on reviews pretty much . All being said a MW3 is bound to be the worst of the 3.
 
But this isn't about MW3. MW and MW2 are both better than Killzone 2. There wasn't much room for improvement after MW.
 
I'm just stating, MW3 will be shit, it shows the way the series is going. They already have and will continue to produce the same game over and over again with minor changes. The biggest change to start off with could have been put the series back onto dedicated servers because their current system is utter bollocks. :monster:
 
So I was playing Red Dead today and ran into something pretty... weird. I was doing a mission against the Mexican army and killed a group of them. I'm running over their bodies to the next checkpoint and- what do you know- they pop up off of the ground. Scared the shit out of me. Must've just been a little glitch. XD

So im really close to getting treasure hunter on Final fantasy XIII. All I need left is 10 Uranites to upgrade the remaining weapons and talk to Bahkti And Im done :ryan: I should get it tommorow. Also I sold my growth egg as it wasnt needed anymore. Did I have to sell it though :hmmm: After treasure hunter all I need is 5 star all missions and im done. 165 hours so far. I play like hell xD

When Dan and I were playing tonight, he kept teleporting. :lew: I think it was the server or something. xD

RDR is awesome though. It took a little while to get the hang of the controls but I had a great time. We took out a few gangs, got mauled by a few cougars and had a few knife fights. :dave:

I also set a barn on fire. :mokken:

All in all a great time. :8F:

I also stole a wagon from Dan and crashed it into the river. :hmmm:

Yeah, it was certainly freaky when you died after I knifed you, then sort of hovered up and back on your feet, then knifed me. :lew: I think we hit some crazy lag spike between one of our connections and that's why we were teleporting. :hmmm:

You set that barn on fire trying to shoot me. :rofl: The shot missed, then I left and I hear you saying "and I set the barn on fire", which was pretty damn funny. But I concur, it was very fun. :ryan:

Whoa, Dan and Tia both have the game now? I've missed a lot. Haven't hooked up my PS3 for a few days now, been playing Infinite Undiscovery on XBox.

So who's game today then?
 
I'm not at college tomorrow (last day ever on Friday too :D) so anyone up for a game tonight since I can knock around 'til whatever time :D
 
Can you invite people to a party and then be against them in deathmatch, and still have it be considered a "public" game?
