Lee's sig just reminded me that when I avoided UC2 last night, I played some FFXIII and managed to finish off the rest of the mark missions! :ryan: I think I have like 6 or 7 trophies left to get. I should be able to get a few of them somewhat easily, well, relatively easily. I almost have the crystarium full for everyone as well, so I'm almost done with this game. Then I can dedicate more time to actually playing Uncharted for 1 player. :wacky:

Thats impossile as My crystarium is maxed out and I have some good weapons and I still cant beat it :gonk: Actually feel like going on FF XIII now. I dont know what happened to me in uncharted 2 today. I SUCK so bad. Maybe im not concentrating. I have like 100 more deaths now. I hope I get better tommorow. Man and no one is playing. I tired inviting you all but no one joined but Argie :sad3:

That is correct, mark 64 has been taken down. And no actually, it wasn't impossible. I used a strategy I found in Gamefaqs, and I managed to nail it down first try. :awesome: If you have the strategy guide, that gives you a good idea of how to setup your Paradigm deck as well. One thing I realized when I was killing Adamantortoises for CP farming, I realized something very nifty that probably goes unnoticed by most. The role a character is in determines their defense. With that said, Sentinels have the highest defense, for obvious reasons. But even a Sentinel not using a guard ability can take heavier blows than a fully buffed Medic. The point I'm driving at is that if you need to defend against an attack that can wipe out the party, switching to the Tortoise Paradigm (3 Sentinels) is your best bet to survive it. Also know that this guy can be Poisoned, and considering how much HP he has, that will hurt bad when you keep it on as much as you can. So Infiltrator (3 Saboteurs) is also vital (they'll Dispel him too, which helps). I think I got him to Stagger twice, and I managed to bang out the battle in 15 or 19 minutes (I forget which was the Target Time and which was my time). Best of luck! :ryan:

We had to update UC2 before playing today. xD Mine took like...10-15 minutes. I just now finished doing a System Update too. That one took 20-30 minutes. -_-
 
Earlier tonight, I threw in UC2 to install this new update I was hearing about earlier. After I was done, only Kaylee was on, so I figured I'd check to see if she was playing online or single player, and it wouldn't let me on, saying there was an internet connection issue. I was able to sign on to PSN and download the patch, but I couldn't get to UC2 Multiplayer. So I just shut it off and played (well still playing) FFXIII.
 
I had to update my Uncharted 2 too. I went on multiplayer with no problem but it said that Ariana and Ryan were playing single player when really they are playing multiplayer. I think the updaer is pretty weird to be honest. The update took about 5 mins. Only person I played with was Argiie yesterday. It was loads of fun but yesterday I was playing like sshit in uc2 the whole day. Also Kaylee I saw you on. I think I joined you but then was tired :gonk:
 
Yeah it was quite odd as everyone was sitting on singleplayer for over an hour and a half. Ryno somehow managed to send a party invite (from singleplayer? :O) but I was in a game and when it ended everyone was in singleplayer and non-responsive. Perhaps the update was just taking a long time, but I always thought that it doesn't show you as being in the game during one. If anything I would have thought it was the "sync live data" thing which happens sometimes while signing on to the multiplayer as last night it took me about 10-15 minutes to get through that. Somehow I think it is a glitch though that everyone appeared as if they were on singleplayer, unless they actually were.


Also...
It seems as if everyone has been captured and taken to Survivor island, and that their names have been changed for a joke also. :D

I'm not sure who else we have lost but we seem to have lost Ryno. :sad2:

Then again we rarely organised anything in here anyway and we'll most likely bump into him on PS3 unless he is too busy in Survivor.

I'm not sure if anyone else is going to be affected.
 
Whew finally beat the damn neochu! :awesome:

Now i can max out everyone's roles with ease with the growth egg!

It's as simple as this..
3 characters with 3 Paradigms in order

Vanille / Snow / Hope

Paradigms:
Med/Sen/Med
Sab/Sen/Med (Default)
Rav/Sen/Rav

Strategy:

Before battle, cast Fortisol AND Aegisol before the battle begins. Go into battle with Sab/Sen/Med.

Cast Death until he uses Screech.. If he uses Screech, then just Re-Start the battle because you WILL most likely die.. Spam "Death" until he dies.. Once he dies, switch to

Rav/Sen/Rav and have Hope & Vanille kill the babies.. If you need to heal during this battle with Microchu (I think that's their names), then use Combat Clinic (Med/Sen/Med)

Afterwards, switch back to Rav/Sen/Rav.

This is flawless if you know what you're doing.

Im not infected this time around. Also oh no RYAN :sad2: Nick I used that exact same strategy. I casted impereil and the death multiple times till it died. I think ill play FF XIII a bit today. I havent played xbox in like a week. But if anyone wants to play UC2 ill play that ^_^. Also how was I donut drake i that video Suki posted. Lmao I dont even has that skin. Im guessin it sjust glitches and more glitches xD

I think there is a glitch with the videos now since the update. I loaded up the video of me and Ryno in that glitched game where people were running around independently from their bodies and some people were in all sorts of bizarre costumes that aren't even available to us anymore... A few people had Donut Lazarevic and one guy had Harry Flynn in a christmas hat. :D



Also... I'll be on tonight if anyone is wanting to play still.

I noticed there are like no mods because of Survivor. Does this mean there will be less mod support? Considering the new rash of spammers to hit the SB, this is going to be a long period with no mod help. :brooding:

There's still a lot of staff not taking part in Survivor and in the SB and stuff. The focus of everyone's attention will probably be on Survivor but there still seems to be staff around.

There is a new rash of spammers now though. I'm assuming that they are currently just going through a "I'm new, I need to get noticed!" phase and are just trying to engage with everyone in order to try and make friends and get everyone to notice them and talk to them.

And you always have to give newbies a little time period of a few hours to get used to all the entirety of FF smileys. Often does a newbie join up and post Zidane, Vivi, Yuna, Ifrit, Sephiroth, Cloud and "OMG LOOK WHO IT IS!" alongside them.

So I think what they are causing will pass once they are familiar with the rules and the way people behave. I'm not sure though as I don't know them well and haven't been in the SB much with them.

Yeah, when I first signed on after I got to work this morning, there were like 3 mods in the list of people who visited today and I'm like "this can't be good". But it seems that a few more came on since and now there are a decent amount of them, so that's good. But no matter what, have no fear, Kandy is here! :gasp:
 
Just thought that I'd shout out that there is another PS3 update today, so those wanting to play later be prepared to have to sit through an install and update.

Also the next UC2 DLC came out today. :awesome: I've got it already as I can't resist a new game mode and two new maps. If anyone else ever gets it then we'll have to play those new maps and the new game mode some time.
 
I can't get it till later tonight, even then i'm not sure if i will or not.


Anyway....more trophies :ffs:

Thanks for the heads up! I'll have that install while I eat dinner, so I don't have to wait afterwards.

And this UC2 DLC you speak of, is it free or do you pay for it? :hmmm: I don't have any of the DLC's, but I was curious if any of them are free. I can afford to buy some, but if I can get them for free, I'll be all over it!
 
You have to pay for them. There's only one DLC that I bought so far and that was $4.99 I believe? This new one is only $6. I'm definitely getting it tonight!
