[CX] The Facility

Damn that sounds hard. :D I guess it gives you something to work towards after beating hard mode though. I'm glad there is something higher / nearly impossible to attempt afterwards as it keeps you playing.

I still haven't beaten any of the maps in hard mode yet though... In fact I've only got one of the co-op trophies... I got the gold rush trophy the other night but I still haven't got either the survival trophy or the co-op mission on hard mode trophy. So I've still got quite a bit to be doing.

Unrelated to UC2 (for the first time in ages) I have got FFXIII at last! :awesome:

I'm enjoying it so far and it is a lot better than I thought it would be.

Loving the baby chocobo! I want a pet chicken now. :hmmm:
 
Which DLC?

The UDF pack with maps, Eddy Raja, Navarro, Roman, UDF Drake and UDF Elena?

Or the other one with the Playstation Heroes and Villains?


I have the former, but not the latter yet.

I'm liking it a lot so far.

I won't say where I am as it might spoil anyone who hasn't played it yet and this isn't the FFXIII section, but I'm about 9 hours into it, and on about chapter 5 or 6 I think. I say I think as I don't check the datalog a lot and I only notice that it is split into chapters at all when I see the datalog entries under different chapter headings.

I love that pack. I've only played the maps a few times, and only with Mits and Ari I think but they're quite good. I like the Flooded Ruins (I think it is called that) map more than The Facility though.
 
Finla Fantasy XIII is a great game ARGIE! Im glad you are enjoying it!! As for me I only have 1 role for each charqacter left on the crystarium. So ill be done later today :awesome:
 
Alright Ryan, finally! xD Can't wait to play The Facility and Flood Ruins maps with you. They're freakin' awesome.

Gold Rush is a pain. I played with random players the other night and they didn't really cover my back, which was quite annoying. -.-

Yeah... You really need to stick together in Gold Rush. Even if you do run off a little you need to make sure that you can get to your team mates in a few seconds (well perhaps 10-20 seconds). If not then you all die alone like muppets and it is quite embarrassing. :monster:

People need to protect the person with the treasure, even if the person can take out a lot of the enemies with their pistol. The only reason I'd say people should seperate would be to distract the enemy, but that would only work for a few enemies and most would still likely head towards the player with the treasure.
 
Well I have good news. I went to my friend's house and I opened UC2 (It was not even opened lol) And I played it. I must say I LOVE the game. Its really fun and taking out those guards was hilarious. The first level in the train was kinda annoying. Im at chapter 4 but sadly I dont have the game yet. I just tried it out. I really want to get it now and its gonna be a DEFO buy :ryan: I imagine the multiplayer is really fun. Chloe Frazer is really sexed up :wacky: Oh and Sully hahah he is awesome. I lol'd when he said something about a hooker in church and Then Nathan is like "you had a hooker in church" :rofl:

You've discovered the Holy Grail right there. Now you know what we're talking about, huh? :D

I'll look forward to playing with you on there when / if you get it. Multiplayer is indeed a lot of fun. The singleplayer is amazing for the story and the characters, but the multiplayer is great and probably one of the best, if not the best (still undecided about whether this is better than Red Faction online or not), multiplayer experience I've had on PS3 so far.
 
They do need to sort out the spawning issues mind. It kills me a little inside every time I'm spawned in the middle of the WHOLE enemy team :sad3:

It's a good game. And when you do get it-- you should totally play online. I bet it'd be a blast xD. and really you think Chloe's hot? First time I heard her I was like: "Whoa she sounds like a dude." No offence xD
I really like Nate Sully and Elena. Too bad sully wasn't really much in the game its a shame cause I like him a lot xD I think he should've been more in the game.

He's in the first game quite a lot so you could buy that.
I would guess it would only be about $20.
 
Yeah Sully is in the first game for pretty much most of it. In the second he is in it for a few chapters and that is about it. He is referenced throughout though if you keep checking Drake's journal. Still, Sully is available to play as online so all is well there.

Yeah those are quite irritating. I hate it when it spawns the enemy behind you too in an area you've just turned your back on after checking.


Has anyone seen many glitchers? They drive me nuts more than anything. There was one dude the other day who walked on the air into a balcony that you are not meant to go on, and when he got onto the balcony a lot of the walls became invisible so he was just shooting everyone through them (I know this because I checked the match recording). I'm lucky that eventually his attention much have been elsewhere and that I was able to throw two grenades up there.

I've not encountered many glitchers so far, but I keep seeing people attempt it. I think you have to hold the grenade button without actually throwing the grenade, and then walk slowly off a ledge. I keep seeing people attempt to do that, and very few succeed. It's a shame that people do that.
