[CX] The Facility

Ryan the acheivement is to take out A long gui. Those are the strongest form of Adamantoises and you have to have a hell of a lot of HP. I heard it attacks for 15000-17000 damage per hit. And he is immunbe to death unlike the adamantoise -__- Also the chapters thing annoys me. Because im at the Taijen tower in XI now and Im really close to chap XII. 1.2 million is pretty good Ryan.
 
I got to the last chapter, just grinding at the moment because...well its one of those boss after boss after boss fights in a row.

My party has their stats good so far, but not good enough. Because i can't beat this little shit right here....

I think it will probably be this weekend before I can actually play FFXIII. I spent the whole weekend with my family and now I'm back at work again for three more days. :mokken:

You have to fight 3 tonberries at once in IX. The little shits knifed me and I had to run for my life. :mokken:

I will try to get three genji gloves though, the battles for those alone are hard enough for me.


What enemy did you farm on for so much CP?
 
If you want the Gengi gloves you have to get through these guys first.

As for CP, you can kill Adamantoises for 40,000 CP each.

Also later on in chapter 11 and such there is loads of CP available if you just fight EVERYTHING.
 
Actually, there are three missions that have the genji glove.


I'm trying to grind to get high enough stats to beat one of them, since mission 51 isn't available to me yet.


Missions 51, 62, and 63 have the glove as a reward.
 
Mmm all they do is let you hit above 99,999 with your standard attacks, they're nothing special really, especially when you consider how much stronger you'll need to be in order to hit 100,000 with a basic attack anyway...

Also mission 51 is evil. I hate it with all my soul. It's wrong and hard and it's just horrible....

Also I didn't realise what the mark for 63 was, I get easily get myself a Gengi glove if I can find the Ci'eth stone for it...

I just wanted to say I got the 100000 with one attack acheivement and I was not even that strong. Still in chpter XI xD. Lmao I used Vanille got a premeptive strike then summoned Hecatoncheir and spammed B till the last bit of the stagger bar in gestalt mode and the used finishing move and it did 179000 damage. I was so happy I got that out of the way and lmao I did it early xD. I lol that the book reccomended Bahamut or Fang with a genji glove. Heca ton is much stronger tbh. It feels so good to have that out of the way. Now at the 3rd tier of Taejins tower >_>

Meh, I wasn't too impressed. It sold 1.8 million on 4.5 million consoles in Japan compared to the West's 1.2 million copies on 65 million consoles. :sad3:
 
Yeah, you don't need a Genji glove to get 100k plus with the summons, a Genji glove allows your STANDARD attacks too hit 100k plus.

Hecaton is good but not the strongest. Bahamut on my game hits 328,000...

It was epic.

Still not done the missions to unlock the Long Guis yet, I'm not looking forward to it when I do though
 
When you finish the game do you still get to explore etc?
