i just seen the advert on youtbe for the rdr zombie game, it looks fucking awesome :gasp: can anyone tell me if its any good? i remember dutchy mentioning it but i dont think she posts here anymore =[ i loooooooove zombies, i think il have to invest in this.
 
I haven't got it yet, but I am very tempted. It does look good, but I haven't seen any real gameplay footage of it. I have a feeling that it will just be on enclosed maps and very restricted. If it is free roam with zombies, or missions with a lot of freedom, then I think I'd really enjoy it.

its been ages since i played the ps3 let alone rdr but this looks like a good game to pass the time until black ops comes out.
does black ops interest you argor?

I'm just that much into CoD at the moment. I'd say that I might get Black Ops one day, but I can guarantee that when it is cheap enough to buy it later with not much interest there will likely be another CoD game announced, and then I'd suddenly be out of date and uncool again. :brooding:

il admit i nevr liked online fps games til i played cod. Killing anyone seemed so difficult but in cod its much easier, no putting a full clip into someone and they still survive :wacky:
im quite looking forward to it, though the cod community is one of the worst and best out there. Some people get far too emo over losing etc.
 
It really depends on the fps.

I don't like playing the same thing over and over, or an updated version of a game I already own. If something is quite different then I'd probably enjoy playing it a lot. I'm not a fan of games which release a new version every year, as I'd want to get the most out of the older game before I abandon it all for a new one.

It's not just with fps games like CoD but with anything that releases a new game very soon after the last.


As for CoD Black Ops, I'm sure I would enjoy it if I played it. I just think that I've played too many modern war games for the moment. If I was told that Black Ops would be the last for a while then I'd possibly get it, play it offline, and play online and have fun. If half a year later another CoD game was announced then I'd feel a bit let down as that would mean that all of the fun on the online of the current game will dwindle, and the significance will be lost and I'll be a dinosaur once more. :ness:

ever played fall of man? i thought that was rather fantastic, the online play wasn much to wrte home about but the story mode was awesome, especially the 2nd game. i loved that it had an alternate history, it seemed to be set in like the 1940s with the style and vehicles etc but there was all this crazy technology. fun game :ryan:
 
I haven't played that.

I haven't even seen gameplay videos of it or anything. I've only become aware of the game existing because of the Little Big Planet costumes, and the skins on UC2. I don't know anything about the game. Alternate history 1940s and crazy technology does sound really quite cool though.
 
I tried to pre order the Black Ops Hardened edition but they're not in stock. :rage: They have copies of the game left but I want the hardened edition for the zombie maps to play with the house mates. :sad3:
 
It is possible for these Zombie maps to become DLC in the future right? Though that would realy defeat the point of the hardened edition.
 
I have no idea. It says exclusive but if they do come out later you'll probably have to pay £15 to £20 for them anyway I'm guessing. But I want to play BO when it comes out and play zombies with my house mates right away so it's definitely worth it for me at least. The amount of time I'll get out the game outweighs the cost. :gasp:
 
I'm getting cod for Christmas. I wish I'd ask for it for my birthday since it's closer but :wacky: I didn't so I'll have to wait till December. And even then I won't play it much since I have exams in January :hmmm:

On another note, Adri and Argor will know who I mean: I played against those guys that called us cheats again last night :lew: They recognised me again and were like 'hey, it's that one... he levelled up loads'

I'll have to play UC2 again soon. :O I haven't been on my PS3 much at all lately though.
 
You met those guys again? LOL. I hope you whipped their asses good Charlotte xD. Also the next time I go on ps3 will be around december. December 8th my break starts and the black ops for christmas. I won tmind a bit of Uc2 before christmas though xD
 
Oh it was an RPG deathmatch, I made sure I killed them a good few times :ohoho:

I'll be playing Black Ops with you after Christmas :ryan: although I'll REALLY start playing it after my last exam which is... what :hmmm: 24th of January I think.
 
I look forward to it Charlotte. Also I will try and talk more aswell. On Uc2 I didnt talk much xD. Still hopefully everybody has mics as it will be fun like that. :ryan:
