Bruno

I'm not fond of Borat at all, but I'm actually a bit excited for this. It looks funny, and that link made me chuckle well enough.

"That's so a Samantha thing to say"
in particular. xD

Ali G and Borat are funny but I never really got into Bruno. I'll give the film a go when I can but something tells me I'm not going to enjoy it like his others.

As two of my favourite people in the whole wide world are Austrian it should be funny. I think Bruno as a character is less funny because Borat showed how bad people could be which was funny. Bruno is more superficial for want of a better word. Still it should be quite funny.

I saw it the other night and I loved it. Personally I found it more funny than Borat, although I think the concept of Borat is better. The humour was extremely crude but I loved it.

There were some priceless moments such as
the scene where he is trying to promote his show, the scene where he gets a job as an extra and the ghost scene (which almost made me choke).
I think it was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time.

I'm kinda excited to see the movie. I wasn't overly ecstatic, but I got coupons to see the show for free, and it's all the excuse I need the drag my friends to the movie. Most of my friends do want to see it though, as they really enjoyed Borat, and they think that Bruno will be even funnier.

The ghost scene scared the crap out of me. :gonk: So did the swinger's bit ("I'm sure you produce a lot of milk") and the show he was trying to present to them. Oh, and his assistant.

The whole movie's kinda scary. I'm never sneaking into a MA movie ever again. :wtf:

I preferred Ali G in da House and Borat to Bruno.
Bruno was quite funny two or three times but thats nowhere near how much his other movies made me laugh.

I was really disappointed with it. If you've seen the adverts then you've seen the best bits of it. It tried far too hard to be gay and it just forced it upon you.
From when he tried to become straight it was so obviously all acted out too. There's no way he'd have gotten away with any of that in Alabama.

I thought that while Bruno was funny, Borat was funnier. Bruno was more shocking than Borat though, and I think that it was supposed to be. Like, Borat was supposed to make us laugh, while Bruno was supposed to shock.

I found it hilarious that Paula Abdul actually sat on a Mexican though. :wacky: If that wasn't scripted, then she's a very stupid person. xD

Yea i definitely was not a bruno fan, and its not because I am uptight, it just had no comedy appeal. By exploiting the gay culture every 5 seconds... I don't think that exactly is supposed to be funny... it almost was like he was trying to make fun of gays. Honestly Sasha or whatever his name is.. is a hack.

He is short lived in my opinion. Borat was good, I admit but he was terrible in Talidega Nights Legend of Ricky Bobby. .. "ricky Bobbeeh" Bah. He tries to hard in my opinion and is over the top always.. maybe that's the point though.

I thought it was pretty funny watching peoples actual reactions to the stupid shit he did. >.<

Most of it was tasteless but some of it was funny.

He did go a bit overboard with smuggling in that African baby though. >.<

Decent movie, good for a laugh here and there.
