I hate bills. They are the worst part of my life!

I just found out that I had to pay $147.54 for my latest internet bill for going over my limit last week. I thought that it was only going to be $108.54, but turns out I forgot to add on the $39 cap. <_<

Spent half an hour on the phone talking to some lady that could hardly speak english properly only to find out that the bill was in fact right. <_<

Then I was transfered to another lady, (that was easier to understand) and we organised a payment plan. I could pay it in full...but I hate to see so much go out of my account in one hit like that. :gonk:

My electricity bills are always pretty good. Nothing to complain about there. But we did just get an air con so it may be a bit more expensive this time around.

Don't get water bills thankfully. >.<

Who else hates bills?! XD

Do you find yourself getting ugly ones every week/month/quarter?
Whether it be electricity, water, home phone/mobile phone, credit cards, petrol etc?

Or are you good at maintaining how much you use in order to not cop a big bill next time it's due?

I found that I was a bit lazy when it came to thinking about electricity when I first moved out but these days I'm quick to turn off a light whenever I leave a room. >.<

Well thankfully my roomie Keke does them for I have no clue how to do them though, I have to chip in some money cos 'tis only fair. though i much rather spend my hard-earned cash elsewhere xD.
I'd say as a whole are bills aren't uber high.
usually or electric is the highest but since its been rainy here they haven't been too high.
Gas is alright because i've been conserving that and going less places
Phone is okay as well since i've got a plan and have unlimited an' whatnot
I don't recall the exact amount but I think overall 'tis about $700-$800 a month though it ranges :hmmm: not sure since i dunt do the bills xD

My last CC bill was $1400 :faint:. That's what happens when Christmas, doctor bills, and a bimonthly insurance premium hit all at once. :ffs:

Well Bills are nothing to complain about since we all have them, but they still suck. I mean for one taxes are taken out of my check around 10,000 a year. On top of this I have the following Bills hit during the month:

1) $200.00 for CC payments
2) $56.00 for Cable Internet
3) $100.00 - 200.00 for electric
4) $30.00-50.00 - Water
5) $89.00 Phone Bill (which is changing this month to 40.00)
6) $104.00 Car insurance
7) $150.00 Property Insurance

Those are my bills per month, now other things do hit.. but usually are once a year.

My bills are generally reasonable, nothing much to fret about. Though when my new customer cable rate away after 6 months, I was debating changing companies because it is a little pricey. I believe I was spending somewhere in the realm of $100 for cable, internet and phone (landline). It then went up to $141, and even though I like my internet speed and my phone service (long distance free!), my cable is basic standard with no HD channels. I was on the fence about changing up, but now the rate went up $10, so I'm pretty sure I'll change it up now. From what I've seen, I can get a starting rate of $99 for comparable services for all 3, so I'm pretty sure saving $50 for what I see might actually be slightly better for all 3, especially for cable.

I believe my credit card bills were in the realm of $700 between both. A few things were from Christmas and some was from the trip me and my girlfriend took to New York a month ago. I think I put up my general monthly bills in another thread in the late summer, and I'm too lazy to think about how much my average bill for everything is. I think I calculated that I generally spend about $1,300 on bills a month, or something in that realm. I try to cut some costs here and there, but overall thats about half my monthly income, so I can stock-pile some money.

Bills drive me up the wall, more so than anything when I'm getting badgered about them despite already knowing what I'm paying and when its due.

To be honest my bills are not half as bad as they were in the last few years passed, this is generally my fault ofc as I had maxed out my credit cards and taken out a loan and the such while I was with one of my ex'es, throughout that relationship I managed to accumilate some £10,000 worth of debt which has taken a very long time to pay back and get to a stable level.

The loan should be fully paid within the next year and that only leaves me with outstanding debt on my car, and the usual bills such as rent, council tax, phoneline, internet and utilities, so all in all its taken a while to come right but I'm getting there in the end.

Luckily I'm in student accommodation and our landlord is an idiot who pays for all our water, gas and electricity. We still have to fork out for phone, internet and TV licencing though, but it's a small price to pay compared to what it could be.

I'm moving into different student accommodation in September though, and we have to start paying for gas and electricity there but it's a much nicer house and the room is cheaper.

i hate bills, not only do i get them dropping on my doormat, i also get them via email too, depression from akll angles -__-

the only one that ever catches me out though is my tv licence, i pay it quaterly and always forget to allow for it, so that does my head in

other than that, aswide from teh fact i hate them, i dont really get any nasty surprises, ive never gone over my net useage and the last time i had a massive phone bill was over a year ago now. right after xmas it was as well and it bloody crippled me

I hate them too, Kelly. -__- They put me in a right foul mood. The first of the month comes rolling around and nearly everything we have goes straight towards our rent payment for this house. We may have a little left over for gas in the car and a few home essentials and that's about it. Then the middle of the month comes all the other bills such as utilities, gas, electricity, medical bills, credit card bill and anything else we need to pay. I hate bills so much. They really wipe you clean out sometimes. Especially in the winter. The gas and the electric are so high it's horrible. :gonk: I can't wait until it warms up and we can turn off the heat. That's what kills us. In the spring and summer, we're normally just fine but when winter hits...
