Currently one of my favourite TV shows (Second to Glee). This Program always guarantees to make me giggle. And now with four seasons in I'm begining to worry that they will run out of ideas.
any opinions on the program?

I was only aware of two.

I do love this show. I don't usually like shows of this style, but it is odd that I can relate to these characters in different ways (though not to their extremes). They're really amusing characters and it is great fun to see what they get up to and how they react to things.

I like all of the characters but Sheldon is the most entertaining for me. I think he is great.

I hope they don't run out of ideas. There's a lot of things they can do still.
 
I've been a fan of this show since the first episode premiered over here and have faithfully followed it ever since. However, I was in the middle of the third season and I'm sure it's gone off for some reason. It couldn't have been at the finale, surely?
 
Ive got the first 2 series and been dipping in and out of series 3. It truly is a great show, but sadly I know guys like them lol. They see me as a Penny sometimes lolz. I love Sheldon, he is my fav, BAZINGA!!! Rofl, great show.
 
I love this show. I actually hate 99.99% of American sitcoms with their stupid laugh tracks and everything that goes along with it, but I think that The Big Bang Theory is a fresh and very contemporary take on a very tired genre.

Also my girlfriend and I are big-time geeks so we get all the references :P

Well said :D I'm a fan too, though I haven't seen very many episodes. I loved the one where they made the space toilet and the meatloaf got stuck to the ceiling XD
 
Big Bang Theory is excellent! I guess I tend to relate to it because I have a lot of similarities to it. Wallowitz (spelling?) is a mechanical engineer, so that part alone wins. :ryan: And you gotta love Sheldon because he's so brilliant and has 0 common sense. Then when they mix in Penny, the ditsy neighbor, it just makes you laugh how they interact with each other. But one of my favorite shows these days. :lew:
 
Awesome! This show is one of my favorite sitcoms ever! Gotta love Sheldon and his random facts and trivia (oh and I think Penny's hot xD). There's a fourth season?? Haven't heard of it.. anyway, I'm looking forward to it!

I dislike it.
Firstly I don't think it's funny, which is a major flaw given that it is a comedy.
I also dislike the fairly unsubtle point that it's trying to make too, ie that Nerds/Geeks are cool people, that they're funny and that they can be friends with hot chicks. Plus there's the obvious wish fulfillment part.
 
I don't really like it. I mean it's funny at times but just not my thing. I'm more into things like Frasier, or something.

Oh dear God if that happens, the world will collapse in on itself. Better then some shite on TV like Friends. Least Big Bang can appeal to geeks and nerds, there arent many shows out there like that. Its mainly crap about popular or beautiful people having tough lives, aww.
 
There are two things I love about this show.

Raj and Sheldon. XD

I've got all three seaons on DVD and I absolutely love it. <3 Sheldon always has such huge lines to memorise, it's insane!

At first I hated it to be honest and thought it was just some nerdy T.V. show, but when I started listening to what they were saying (after flicking through the channels one night and nothing else was on) I realised it was actually quite funny.

The only thing I don't like is Penny. She thinks she's too good and always says, "Oooh Sweetie." way too much.
