We've all seen the best group of Chars from across games, but I haven't seen the best group of 4 Bad guys, but not including final bosses. Who wants to go first and submit a group that is awesome and well balanced?

:jon:

Ultros (Hillarious)
Gilgamesh (Same reason)
Seifer (Squall's counterpart and probably the most sinister of my villains)
Rufus Shinra (Legitimately evil)

I assume this is what you are asking for. This party has a decent amount of power (even old Gilga could put up a decent fight when he wanted to) and a heavy dose of comic relief. What more could you want?

I would have to say

Sephiroth- he is badass and awesum
Kuja-same reasons as sephy
Seymour Guado- refused to die, thus making him badass
Gilgamesh (FFXII)- awesum enemy, has a whole bunch of awesum swords, and his pet is brilliant.

Apart from having Sephy in a party it looks cool.

Mine was

Kain
Seymour G.
Jenova
Seifer

I thought they would be a tough group to face.

Gotta love the comic relief...I'll try and refrain from using the first two you mentioned since I would have never thought of them in this situation until you mentioned them

Kefka - Pure Evil, that is needed for Villains...also one of the strongest
Dr. Cid - High classed, he has a PhD in making being a bad guy look and sound cool...also his rooks can make this party a pain to deal with
Braska's Final Aeon - he was first good, but then used for bad, he looks awesome and his music is dead out rocking
Gilgamesh - I caved, but not only is he great comic relief, he is pretty good as long as he isnt using Excalipoor

Ultros
Gilgamesh
Don Corneo
Cagnazzo

My conclusion? A party full of epic win there.
Gilgamesh = powerhouse and epicness of lol.

Ultros = Epicness again, and ink and tentacle abilities rock.

Don Corneo = A sort of summoner-pimp, sending his beasts against the enemy, and then trying to take all female enemies as his honey. Could probably do joint attacks with Ultros? Ultros grabbing the enemy while Don Corneo pulls out the feather.

Cagnazzo = The epic master of disguise... and water. Not sure if we was meant to be laughed at in the game, but I found him hilarious and his wave attacks could be ace. He could probably do joint moves with Ultros again, Ultros riding his waves or something?

Imagine their talks and plans when they gather at the fire at night? Would be a barrel of laughs to see this :D.

gilgamesh - ffv
ultros ffvi
palmer - ffVII
biggs and wedge FFVIII

al these bad guys were just gigantic fails when it came to battle, you knew they were gonna lose the second ur eyes clocked them. They were however very satisfying to beat and if they ever came together i would take great pleasure in beating them all at the same time.

Garland (FFI) :holyshit: , someone pre-IV!

Kefka (FFVI)

Ultimecia (FFVIII)

Vayne (XII)

With this party, you have a good balance of physical attackers and spellcasters.

omega weapon - classic beast that just won't quit. raw power.
ultimecia - eye candy lol
zorn and thorn - comic relief
delita - pure badass leader that no one knows too much about.

Sephiroth: Seph because he is so strong and badass.
Gabranth: He is so sick
Cloud of Darkness: Who does not want her in?
Seymour Guado: It was fun to play as him for once.

Most of you seemed to miss the "not including final bosses" part, but oh well, haha!

Hmm....so I'll try be a little different.

Xande - FFIII - Granted with the gift of Mortality, he seeks more, much more. He's a strong guy!
Hojo - FFVII - The evil genius! He sees NO wrong in what he does. I like that.
Seymour Guado - FFX - Arrogant and sinister. Impressive magic user too.
Ba'Gamnan - FFXII - He is ruthless and determined. A good fighter too!

It seems most of you didn't notice the "no final bosses" clause.

In any case, I'd go with:

Garland(not as Chaos so not a final boss)- According to Dissidia he
owned the crap out of Omega and all the summons of FF I's universe simultaneously
when he was just a teenager.

Golbez- arguably the most powerful black mage ion the world of FF IV. The After showed us that he was capable of
defeating Zeromus with Fusoya's help.

Jenova- powerful alien being.

Edea- a gifted sorceress.

Kuja(he wasn't the final boss)- glassed a planet.

Let's see.....

Adel- Because of all the grief the bitch caused me, I think she'd be good to have as an ally.
Seymour- For his magic and Anima.
Ultros- For comic relief and the fact that he is a talking octopus.
Gilgamesh- Because he is a funny man and he is pretty damn strong in IV and XII.

Sephiroth - (Technically not a final boss in Crisis Core :monster:) What party would be complete without Sephiroth? xD You need someone in the party to have a ridiculously large sword.

Kuja - the most powerful boss magically, I'd say. It was a tossup between him and Ultimecia...but Kuja seemed more powerful - blowing up a planet and all, while Ultimecia is just...lame.

Seymour - the guy just wouldn't die. Most persistent boss ever award goes to Seymour. He can heal, he can summon and he can cast a mean black magic spell, a good all rounder.

Garland - The other three make the need for a fourth member unnecessary, since they do everything better than all the other bosses, but "I, Garland, shall knock you all down!" means Garland deserves a place xD

Glassing a planet is cool and all(he didn't blow it up, just nuked the surface), but don't forget that Ultimecia compressed Time and was in the process of absorbing all existence, making the entire universe and all other universes a mere extension of herself.

My list will have different purposes:

MAGIC DEPARTMENT: Kuja. He
can do Ultima (what other villain can do that?) and destroy a planet with several blasts.

INTIMIDATION DEPARTMENT: Gabranth. Look at his helmet and armor. Listen to that clank when he walks. Gabranth also has incredibly designed swords. He intimidates more than a Nazi Gestapo officer.

STRENGTH DEPARTMENT: Bergan. With the Nethicite-enhanced strength. He would slice anything apart with his giant paperweight swords. Just as long as
his body doesn't blow up under such power.

GENIUS DEPARTMENT: Garland.
Time loop.
Genius! Who else thought of that?

FINISHING-OFF-OPPONENT DEPARTMENT: Seymour. He can summon, use spells, come back again and again................and could make anyone wet themselves just by showing his face.

My list may look weird but here you go.

Baralai(FFX-2)
Nooj(FFX-2)
Gippal(FFX-2)
Payne(FFX-2)

No reason really, basically cause I thought this gorup of 4 is really cool, especially their little story in FFX-2. And technically you fight Payne as a boss some time in the game.

I almost made it with the clause

Dr. Cid, He sounds so cool and and is awesome
Gilgamesh, great swords man, and funny
Ultros, Royal octopus, need I say more?
Lady Yunalesca, she was tough as balls...I dropped Brask's final aeon because I consider that more of a final boss than Yu Yevon
