Best Moment In FF Ever

What's intense for me was the moments in which made me sad, tear up and some that actually made me cry.

In FFVII I know it's cliche
but when Aerith died
I was done for, I began to cry. It was so slow and
the falling of the materia
, I just kept crying. Not balling my eyes out, put tears kept streaming.

In FFIX when Vivi
had to watch other mages get destroyed and it made him think about life
I cried so much as well when
he finds out that he'll just "stop"
omg I cried like a baby. I also got teary when
they thought Zidane was gone and when he revealed he was alive.

As for FFX the scene in which
Tidus "dies"
I had a tear or two, not too crazy, but very sad.
When he puts his arms around Yuna and when she runs through him
, saddening.

FFX-2 I know a lot of people don't like, but I enjoyed it.
When Yuna sings for everyone and she breaks down at the end
, made me sad. It also made me cry when they showed
Yuna and Tidus being shot at as well as when Yuna thought she was hugging Tidus, but it was Shuyin.

I think if a game can make me cry, it's memorable. I'm sure a lot of people would find it ridiculous to cry at a game.

The best moment in Final Fantasy history HAS to be the I'm not alone scene from Final Fantasy IX. Just the music, the drama, the impact and how it connects with all the story. I think the music helps the scene alot, as it's so fitting and matches the scene really well. But the scene is just as emotional alone. It's so powerful and impacting because it really shows well the power of love. I don't mean love as a man and a woman kissing, but instead friendship. The love between Zidane and his friends and Zidane's love for them in return. It shows a little cheesy, but when you watch it you'll have hairs on your back rise up from it's awesome.

Has to be the ending of FFX when Tidus dissapears and he holds around her eventhough she runs straight through him, and the high five with Jecht. I ACTUALLY cried XD

hmm three moments for me.... i won't bother with spoilers tags....

1 Final Fantasy IX when zidane hides himself and acts in the play, the bit when he is talking on his own and then shows himself and asks for dagger back... god so sweet

2 the kissing scene in Final Fantasy X, the way that yuna and tidus look and the way they are in the water and are holding eachother is sooooo sweet, it almost puts a tear in my eye everytime i watch it

3. Ending of Final Fantasy X, how this is done is soooo amazing, the way which
the aeons disappear one by one and then yuna running right through tidus, and then tidus holding her even through he is just about to leave her forever.
it's just soooo sweet and i love every second of it. makes me cry everytime i watch the scene

EDIT: Changing my mind.. i think the thrid one needs spoiler tags :D

4 for me;

1) Aerith's death - utterly jaw-dropping
2) Rinoa & Squall's waltz scene - beautiful for a psx game
3) The end sequence and closing credits of VIII - lovely soundtrack and the camcorder ending was genius
4) Practically ANY of the FFXIII cutscenes - whilst the merits of the overall game are in question, the CGI/cutscenes are simply stunning - Personally, I thought that XIII was the most visually impressive/breathtaking game on this generation of consoles

Its been said many times but the end of FFX
when Yuna says I love you and Tidus starts to disappear as he is holding her. That always gives me the shivers.

There's plenty of other moments like that too, its the beauty of Final Fantasy.

For me, it would be experiancing just how Aerith gained her famous pink ribbon from Zack and the end of Crisis Core. I felt very contected to the characters involved and simply adored everything about the game. There are also countless moments in FFVII/FFX that I found to be memorable too but I won't go into much detail about that. I'll be here all year if I do. :britt:

I believe the best scene of them all is from FFXIII: The love between Snow & Serah was very nice (portrayed through past scenes). It was very touching and I loved how Snow had an undying will to save his fiance ( I believe anyone would give up anything to save their loved ones ).

Mine is easily in FFIX when.... *SPOILERS*

Zidane re appears after the events at the Iifa tree. When Dagger is watching the play and everybody thought it was Marcus that was performing. When Zidane took off that robe and said

"Bring my beloved Dagger to me!"

I flipped the fuck out! I was sooo happy! They got to end up together! After that whole journey.

My mom even cried at that part. It was just a great way to end the game. Them two being back together. :)

I think for me it was Tidus and Yuna in the Malacania Forest in FFX. The development of their relationship was obvious, but also reserved for a lot of the game. So when they were talking in the forest and the romance meter was already about to go off the charts, Yuna starts crying, and I was practically shouting at the screen "Hug her, you idiot!" And then, well...if you've played FFX, you know how it goes from there! Suteki Da Ne instantly became my favorite song ever because of that scene. Everything about it was so perfect! The context, the environment, the dialogue, the music...gaming has yet to deliver a better moment to me.

I wanna say for me it was the end of FFX when:
Yuna realizes that Tidus is dead but she tries to hold onto him...
I'm PRETTY sure I cried... I have many other fave moments but this was the one that stood out...

I also liked the fact that Hojo was BASICALLY the real antagonist of the FFVII series...

One of the most intense moments in FF for me is the scene in the Black Mage graveyard, when No. 266 tells Vivi "You're very kind to use our words. But you already know what it means to live... and to die." :sadpanda:

And don't forget the Group Room scene in the Honey Bee Inn from VII! XD

I'm still a huge fan of the Spring Scene in FFX where Yuna and Tidus kiss for the first time. I think it's at this point in the game where I see how great the graphics, music, and plot are "altogether". Yuna opens up her heart and for a second forgets about the terror surrounding Spira and her loved one's and enjoys alittle bit of the "rewards of life" and this maybe gives her a moment to remember what she's fighting for. Not only is she hoping to come out on top so she can live on, but she's fighting for the however many people live in her world as well.

So overall, the Spring Scene ranks as my #1 moment in the FF series.
