I love Artemisia II of Caria and the Mausoleum.
I'm also fond of Artemisia I even if she fought for the Persians during their invasions of Greece, and commanded some ships at the naval battle of Salamis. She supposedly ended up ramming ships from the Persian side though. I believe that the prequel movie to 300 will include Artemisia I. Not sure how good that will be though.
