Who deserves to win Best Gaia Debator for 2009? Whose arguments are most justifiable and plausible? ^^
 
Definitely Hal, with Shu being a close second. But Hal really gets into it and will eye the threads like a hawk, making sure he gets his point across. One of the best debators here, imo.
 
Its rare I ever venture into the debate section although I do have my moments, Hal even repped me once! I was like, amg the HONOUR xD ....unless it was neg rep....hmmm

But yeah Hal gets my vote, hes liek the fucking debate king xD
 
Angelus was a fucking walking library. Heck when I texted her over MSN, there were times in which I wondered if she was truly human...

That and her obsession with Math, Gaus, and Sephiroth...which adds to the psycho factor <_<

Hal gets my vote on this, sorry folks I don't deserve it. I would say I'm a good debater, but I usually don't follow up on threads because of work and real life. So I half ass it mostly, but retort when I can.

Hal makes very supportive arguments, even if sometimes sarcastic as hell, he still gets his point across.
 
When Justin posts in the Debate section, his arguments are well thought out, plausible and straight to the point.

When Hal and Justin are debating against each other, it's like Clash of the Debate Titans. :gasp:
 
I'll say Hal, mainly for the reasons in the smartest member thread, he just generally knows a wide range of stuff and could probably put up a good debate in any of the threads.
 
I had nominated Shu and my twin for this, but my twin didn't make it, so it's gonna be Shu. Shu displays good debate skills for the simple reason that he has a believe and stands by it. But at the same time he has an open mind and allows himself to see both points of view (or multiple in some cases) and states his beliefs. He never debates by strictly counterpointing what everyone says (and contradicting himself in the process). Hands down my favorite debater with CC coming in 2nd (even though he's not on the ballot).
