There's the odd "post your profile" thread around here (and you can do that as well, if you wish, to compare how each of them look) but the purpose of this thread is to argue out which of these three massive blogging sites is the best and why.

Go for it. :neomon:

I think Facebook is the best. On facebook its easy to find a friend that you need to talk to and you can just post it on their wall. Theres tons and tons of applications to choose from on facebook, so if you are into gaming or just wanna add something cool to your profile then you can. They have a variety from Bumper Stickers to Texas Hold'em Poker. You can add pictures of you and your friends and tag them. I just hate MySpace and i've never tried Bebo. MySpace is far more complicating then Facebook.

I think Facebook is starting to get even more popular than Myspace.

All of my friends have Facebook now and they want everyone to join it and I'm just like.... ":eek:uttahere:".

Bebo was popular back in school, every one had it (even me :P) but I'm not into these kind of websites anymore, I have important stuff to do than Facebook.

I have MSN anyways I can chat to my friends when I'm at home, instant messaging.

Bebo spamed my e-mail with junk like "Someone commented on your Bebo" and "Someone is now your friend" etc.

Eh, I think myspace is better. It's not as complex as Facebook and it's really simple to use. I have facebook and I still get lost since there's so much stuff to do. Cheers to those who loves that kind of thing, but it's just not for me. I don't see myself tagging or having pillow fights with individual friends there or giving 'gifts' and doing it for how long. >.> All I need is to comment people when I need/want to, and voila, I'm done. Simplicity at its best. Logging out.

I really prefer Facebook. It's clean, organized, and it serves its purpose. You can keep track of your friends and you really don't have to worry about the idiocy that comes along with MySpace users.

Actually, there are many reasons that I dislike MySpace but the main reason is honestly the setup. It's sloppy. You get to design your page however you wish... but for every friend who may have a cool looking page, you're going to have twenty more with pink sparkles and "Make Me a Real Woman" by the Backstreet Boys playing in the background.

I don't have a clue what Bebo is. It sounds like some cartoon rerun show, actually.

EDIT: So, do any of you guy's want to give me your MySpace's? ;)

I actually was really into Myspace until I signed up with Facebook.

The reason I decided that Facebook was far better was that all of my old highschool friends used it. Therefore I could catch up with everyone.

Myspace didn't seem to be as organised as Facebook is and it started to give me the shits in the end.

It never seemed to upload my pictures properly if at all and just seemed dead most of the time because none of my friends used it much. =/

However there is one thing that annoys me about Facebook and it's those little request and invites you get from friends that ask you to join their mafia gang and such. They had those kind of applications on Myspace but I think I received them only once compared to receiving about 10 a day on Facebook.

Obviously that's not Facebooks fault, but it does seem to have a lot more applications for people to send me. >_<

Facebook is definitely alot more popular than Myspace these days.

I agree with most people here that Facebook is by far the best. Its easy to contact old and new friends and I personally find it easier to use than anything else. Plus all my friends are on Facebook and only a handful use Myspace and they Facebook as well and its so easy to find them.

I tried using Myspace many years ago and it just didnt grab me or interest me like Facebook.

Bebo has been overun with robots :bmon:

Seriously I used to use Bebo all the time because that was where everyone I knew was... School friends, online contacts etc. I liked the whiteboard feature there better than the one you can get for Facebook (it would never let me save my pictures on Facebook which really sucked).
However now all real people have stopped using it so much, and only robots message me.
"Hey honey, you look fine! Click my link to see hawt pics of me I took just for you!"
Messages like that written by people with curious names including Marylin Large...

So Facebook is a safe haven from these robots and it really is growing on me. It's a little bit better now that it isn't all squashed in the right hand side of the screen, however it still is pretty hard to navigate and isn't as clear in layout as Bebo and Myspace. However I use Facebook because thats where everyone is now.

Myspace would be good to use, but not sure if that many people that I know actually use this. I use Myspace to get in contact with bands I like through their pages though, which is quite helpful.

So which do I prefer? Not Bebo, because it is overun with robots. Not Myspace, because I never got used to it and didn't ever do anything with it... I wouldn't say Facebook either coz its difficult to navigate... However as I have to pick one I'd pick Facebook as that is where everyone I know and have ever known is at the moment.

I forgot to slip my two cents in.

It's Bebo, for me, followed by MySpace and, finally, Facebook.

Facebook is just a shitty version of Bebo and MySpace; there's no aesthetic appeal whatsoever, the entire appearance of the site is very dull, very few aspects of the site feel unorganised and, overall, it doesn't really compare. xD

MySpace isn't as complicated as people make it out to be; invest an hour or so into familiarising yourself with codes and you'll be fine. It's probably the least convenient of the three, though, and probably gave birth to the emo as we know it. :wacky: I only registered to speak with someone I was interested in, who only used MySpace and nothing else.

Bebo is much simpler than MySpace, very straightforward, has a much better appearance than Facebook, is quick and easy to use, is very organised and, althougn not as personal as MySpace can be, at least it's more adaptable than Facebook.

EDIT:
Argor, just make your profile private to everyone but your direct friends and you're sorted. :gmonster:

I used to prefer Myspace because it was better at the time and everyone was into it so it made sense, then Facebook got better and everyone switched to that making Myspace kinda boring and obsolete so now I use Facebook and love it. Certainly the best one out of the two. Myspace and Facebook are now generally very similar, however I do like having a customisable page on Myspace and hate all the application shit of Facebook.

Bebo on the other hand is fucking terrible full stop.

I'm going with Facebook. I haven't even heard of Bebo until I clicked on your profile link thing, Dave. :monster: It's probably more of a regional thing -- I'm sure none of you have heard of Friendster.

But, Facebook, dunno what else to say but it's a damn good site. Keeps me in touch with all my highschool friends and helps me set up meetings and whatnot when any of them are in town. Plus the site is (well, used to be better) well organized and user-friendly and is less hectic than MySpace.

I prefer myspace over facebook. I can't stand Facebook. It lags so bad for me. I don't like the layout of it,the way ablums are arranged on it, and well just basically everything about it.

Myspace,on the other hand, does not lag me,the albums are arranged better on there in my opinion, and to me it seems more customizable. I really enjoy using it alot more then Facebook. Infact the only reason I really ever use Facebook is to accept friends on there.

I do like the way causes are displayed on facebook though.

I prefer myspace over both Facebook and Bebo. I find it the easiest to use, and it's the one that my friends use the most, so it's the more convenient one. Facebook annoys me, I checked it last week after not signing in for 6 months and had like, 200 application invites, about 75 group invites, about 50 friend requests and a whole load of other stuff. Not fun, I just deleted all of them >_>

Myspace is just simple and easy to use, and it's the one I like the most xD I dislike how they're changing it all the time though D=

Facebook > Myspace > wtf is Bebo?

Myspace is just really lame. I still log onto it every day but tbh I have no idea why. Facebook is a great way to keep in contact with old schoolfriends whom I haven't seen for years, and as mentioned above I have no idea wtf Bebo is.

Facebook's easier to use, and more private than myspace. Plus, sometimes Myspace is full of photowhores. And Facebook is easier to keep up with, and has good applications and a good way of tagging. ^__^ I just like it xD

I use Myspace more I havent been on bebo for ages ive grown out of it now facebook i go on there now and again. But myspace i just blog and more of my friends are on my myspace then my facebook

I'll have to say Myspace purely because basically everyone I know through both secondary school and college have it, so really my opinion between the three is based on that, Facebook seems to be a lot better feature wise (I haven't been on Bebo mind you) but unless you know a fair few people it's rather pointless having it. Facebook is gradually becoming more popular though. :awesome:

Personally I despise Facebook and Myspace but I will hold back judgement on Bebo as I have never tried it nor ever heard of it before in my entire life. I've had a Facebook and Myspace account, though I soon learned the error of my ways and deleted my Myspace. I keep Facebook just in case any old friends try to contact me, and for nostalgic purposes since that's the one I kept the longest.

Myspace tbh.

I like Facebook keeps me entertained for awhile because of all the quizzes and shit. But Myspace is easier to use for me, and Bebo, I never got into Bebo people have been asking me to join but I've been like cut the grass more like cut my ass (Don't ask what that means -_-)
