Was just on ninemsn news and came across this newstory:

This little girl is called 'Baby Gaga'. She's only 8 and she does a bloody good job for her age at impersonating Lady Gaga.

Though if she were my child I wouldn't let her get dressed up like that and dance so provocatively. =/

Still a good watch though.

It may sound as though she's not saying the words properly, but she is Portuguese.

She perfoms Bad Romance and Paparazzi.

I hate singing children, it's their squeaky little voices, they go through me

I think it's the cuteness factor that gets people...I just think it's awwwwwful

Ugh, I'm not a fan of the original and so it's natural that I don't like this either.

It all seems very bizarre as well. A little girl dancing provocatively for a fat dude as a judge and an audience. It's not something I would watch.

She's pretty brave to do it so credit where it's due I guess.

Indeed, I hate children performers. Hated the original and this is just tacky all over. Like you said fat judge and all is a bit uneasy. Good for her for her confidence, but alas Im not a Gaga fan.

o_o omg This is just wrong on so many levels. I don't personally care for children performers either unless they're like extremely extremely talented, but to have a little 8 year old girl dressing up provocatively and dancing in such a manner...it's horrible. Great she has confidence, but being a mother myself if I ever had a daughter, I would never ever let her dress up in something like that or dance in something like that. Especially at 8 years old...I mean wtf were this girls' parents thinking? Evidently they weren't thinking, but still...this is awful. Never been a Gaga fan and this won't make me a Gaga fan either. In fact, it's only disgusted me even more in regards to Gaga herself.

Now that I watch it again, she's not even that good. I used to walk around singing songs in my living room when I was a toddler and my Mum and Dad filmed it (for the lulz probably).

She isn't much better IMO.

Thats Sad. That has to be illegal in some sort of way, that poor child >:[ Who could project such things on such a young lady?

The female judge encouraging this...-__-

I hate the original and now I hate this one. Maybe if they picked a more talent requiring song?

Like a lot of celebrities, Lady GaGa really isn't the ideal role model a parent should let their little daughter have. This is one thing I find rather uneasy - the sexualisation of young children. Looking at what she is wearing and the makeup on her face, the little girl is unintentionally asking to be preyed on. I really don't think this is right. It's like exploitation.

As for her performance, I didn't make much of it. I quit the video after a minute because I found it just too provocative from a child. I'm surprised they don't seem to have a minimum age to enter that show. She does have a lot of courage to do that though. I felt uneased watching the big male judge questioning her as well. Who knows what he may be thinking.

I am not sure that this is very proper for a child to be dressed like that and definitely dancing like that. I am not that much of a fan of Lady Gaga anymore and some little girl trying to be her is far worse.

Yeah, that is wrong on so many levels, and the mother was looking on like she was proud, and the Fat old judge? It's like some kind of sick scene in a horror movie to me :O

I don't really blame the celebrity for this though, it's not like she's forcing children to dress like her or anything, I blame the parents :mokken:

It actually scares me that the parents have pretty much encouraged this behaviour and have dolled there child up in such a manner, its just like those little miss beauty contests.

Its wrong on so many levels but most of all the parents for putting there child through this kind of thing because they think they can make money out of it. Parents that do this kind of thing to there children should not be allowed children tbqh as they are a massively bad example of just how horrible and selfish human beings can be.

I tried watching it, but found myself stopping after about a minute.

What kind of parent encourages their child to do this? Child performers should never be exposed like that, even if it could be their big break. They're too vulnerable at that age. It's why I hate seeing them on TV, especially on Britain's Got Talent. Too young, too scared to deal with the harsh criticism and so on.

I'm a GaGa fan myself, but even I cringed at this. No one should EVER impersonate her. Least not this girl.

...I can't stand how her mom is standing there, like she's proud?

Wake up, woman, for crying out loud, grab your kid off that damn stage, and give her a double pair of pants on, and get that ridiculously thick make up layer off her face.

This didn't look entertaining to me at all. It was rather bizarre. Sure, kids wanna look like their role model, and sure Lady Gaga, might impress a lot of teenage girls, but as a parent ffs keep them performing for you and the dad with a little camera, don't send them through to something like this? Are you out of your mind. o_O

In my honest opinion, get that girl off stage, and let her be a mini gaga in her bedroom, but get some sense knocked into the parents, Geez.

/facepalm.

I mean i'm not a huge fan of gaga either nor do I like this performance tbh.

It wasn't even good-- ay least I don't think so. I mean everything about I was like thinking to myself: "And her parent's want this to be there child?" I'm sure her parent's want some money or some shit but really if your going to do this at least be decent (her voice)

please no more 'baby' gaga -__-

Just wasn't my thing.
