The hacker obviously did not intend to irritate any of us, but to bring the warm feeling of sexual intercourse to all of our minds.
To the chambers, I say.
Smith was first the leader agent, but unlike the other Agents, he showed more disgust towards humans and sometimes acted on his own. When Neo overwrote his code, Smith was released from the bound between Agent-Matrix, thus becoming a "free agent". Yet, he felt restrained, crushed, overwhelmed by both the Matrix and the Humans, so he developed and deepening hatred towards both humans and machines alike. When Neo visited the Oracle, she mentioned that Smith was Neo's negative, the opposite force which he needed to face in the end. Neo represents the free will of the people, while Smith represents the clone like society, one that acts based on rules and abides to them without questioning, no thoughts, no feelings, no free will.
